Today I'll be making a batch of hummus. Got to pop up the shop for garlic and lemon. A batch lasts me a long time. I can load up 7 or 8 tubs for the freezer. I like to have it in the fridge, it's a healthy snack and cheap to make. Actually I'll be making it tomorrow, the beans have to soak overnight first. Need indoor stuff to do over the weekend, we are expecting nonstop heavy rain.

Went out for a meal yesterday at a place called Slap Fish. Don't know it's just local chain or more widespread. I had the best fish and chips since I came to the US. They even provided vinegar to put on the chips. Since I got older I eat smaller and smaller portions but I cleared the plate this time.

While RapidTables is okay for very basic information on watts/volts/amps/ohms it doesn't inform us what our batteries are doing.

Basically, it's useless for helping us to understand how our batteries function.

A much better, vape related, website for determining your battery drain is Steam-Engine. It was created for vapers by vapers.

Visit the page and enter the coil data for your RBA and the specific details for your battery and the battery drain tool will show you all the details you might want to know.

Scroll to the bottom of the page for very detailed explanations for each section.

Are you using the Molicel M35 18650 3500 mAh 10A?

I entered the data you provided, see the attached screenshot.

:)

ETA: The battery drain page does not have an 18650 battery preset for a Molicel 10A. There are other 10A batteries in the list. Choose one of those.
Looked up my last order and I have Molicel M35A 18650 3500mAh 10A batteries. That is the one you mentioned, so yes.

I took a look at your screen shot. The amp usage appeared to be a little higher than the number I got from RapidTables.

My first thought is that RapidTables was close enough to reassure me that my simple high ohm single coil low power vaping wasn't going to stress out those Moli's.

For someone using low ohms and high power not so much. Like @Territoo with 0.2 coils, where you are likely to be pushing closer to the limits, that steam-engine site is way safer.

When I get some free time I'll definitely spend some time on steam-engine. I love playing around with stuff like that.

cheers

A SS316L coil running in power mode only increases ~1/10th of an ohm. Depending on the mod it could be (very slightly) more.

Other than that, nothing happens, regulated mods can handle it easily. Occasionally I do run SS316L in power mode - zero issues/problems.
OK. Good info to have, that the resistance only increases by a small amount. I can try it without worrying.

cheers

Do you have a link? That may help explain why my batteries don't seem to last as long as other people's. I vape low resistance coils, 0.2-0.5 Ω, at 75 watts.
Here's the page I used. It's probably close enough for simple single coil usage.

@SMT posted a more vape related site below. I haven't got into it yet but it has a lot more vape related detail. With the low voltage and high power you use I guess you are going to need some pretty hefty batteries.

For Sale Super T P10

Looking at similar threads from around 2010-2011 below, this device was designed for using 510 screw on atties like the joyetec 510 or a cartomizer which are no longer sold. No one is really using these any more. Its really just a collectors item. Yes, people still use mech mods. Not sure this would be considered a mech mod. Good luck with your sale.

Yeah would need to see the atty connection. Might be recessed to where only a OG 510 cart would fit in there.

For Sale Super T P10

Yea that would be a mechanical mod no doubt.. as it dont use wires.

Sweet little mod i dont have.. I do have a couple of Ela's and a bunch of GG stuff.

SuperT is my favorite though.

And yes one could prob install a 510 connection small dripper atty on it I bet with a 1.5-2ohm coil installed.

Mixing Salt Nic VG/PG?

Most nic salt users I find are pod users wanting higher nic contents. Some countries have limited nic concentrations like 20mg/ml (2%) limits (UK, EU, Canada as examples) and the ONLY way to vape at that max and achieve 50:50 ratio is if your nic is VG. I applaud your supplier.

Mixing Salt Nic VG/PG?

Depends on what tanks you use. For myself 3-6% works well. I use rdl rtas and hellbeast dl tanks and dl Itanks. If you use tight mtl start at 6-10%. Easiest way to find your dw sweet spot is mix up 10ml of juice and start with 3% dw. If thats too thick in your tank then ad a drop or two to the tank shake and repeat as needed. Then you can roughly translate into how much dw will work for you. Keep in mind if you only have 5% flavors you will possibly want higher dw than a 10% flavor mix.

The Maryland MVA requires an eye test for anyone over 40 to renew their driver's license. I had the test done yesterday on Thursday, 7/17/2025, passed and the doctor sent the info (electronically)to the MVA. Filled out the form online this morning, cost was $48 for the next 8 years(2033), that would make me 87 years old. Optimism prevails!!!!!

Mixing Salt Nic VG/PG?

In my opinion, if you are going to mix PG and VG in your juice, I'd have purchased the PG based nicotine. Since PG has a thinner viscosity, there will be a more even distribution of nicotine in the solution. But, since you opted for the VG variety, make sure to really shake the crap out it at room temp before mixing. VG based nic is really an answer to a demand for those who are PG sensitive.
The website said all salt nics are VG-based, so I didn't have a choice. Thanks for telling me to shake it up really good before mixing. How are people sensitive to PG? Is it the initial throat hit or some aftereffects? Thanks.
