I got to the point where I could barely stand a quarter mile on the treadmill.I had bad sciatica decades ago after a minor car accident. Regular walking was what helped me.
I did have a few visits with our chiropractor and it helped some but not enough. After about a week after my last appointment it got worse than before which prompted the doctor visit. Normally I walk a few times a week and do some weightlifting but got to the point where it hurt to walk long distance so moved to the elliptical which was less painful since there’s no impact.The guy above is right movement is great for nerve pain. You should also try yoga, gymnastics, massages, a chiropractor which helps with pain temporarily but can help with correcting posture thus being good long term. Tell them about your condition if you decide to see a chiropractor tho.
You can also use Diclofenac sodium gel (NSAID) or something natural like arnica gel.
