The Lurker Thread

Good evening everyone

Awwww he is adorable, Grandpa Joey!

Super cool that you got to hold an alligator, Dale.

Good luck tomorrow with your surgery, Rat2.

Not sure what's going on with me but I can't seem to shake this newest illness. Nose is running, sinuses are wonky, the aches are back, coughing and sneezing sporadically and scratchy throat. No fever thank goodness but it's really starting to irritate me.

Hope you all have a great rest of your day!

So far I've only needed a new lens (cataract surgery) in one eye, he other is still fine. But, for years, TRIfocals :)
Did you ever use progressive lens glasses. Just wondering how trifocals compare to progressives. I've gotten along fine for 20 years with progressives but my newest pair after the double cataract surgery I'm having a dang hard time getting adjusted to.

Might have something to do that I didn't wear glasses at all for 5 or 6 month's except for reading. The new progressives are fine for mid and far distance (things are definitely a bit sharper) but the near vision I'm trouble with a narrow field of vision and geometric distortions of the rectangles of the windows on my laptop.

Eye patch? Not when I got mine done. Just special eye drops for a week or so.
I had to wear a perforated translucent plastic protector over my eye for a week after my surgeries.
