We had an easter miracle here. For a week the forecast said that it would rain hard all day today which would blow out our town easter festivities. Instead of starting at 2.00am it started at 8.00 but just before the festival was due to start it suddenly stopped. For 3 hours there was no rain and the sun came out. Because of the forecast not many kids showed up from outside town so the local kids got huge bags full at the easter egg hunt. They had another game in the town hall, there were numbers on the floor and the kids walked around the circle until the music stopped then stepped on the nearest number. The winning number got to pick a cake from a table, all baked by the locals. This year with the small number of attendees every kid got a cake. Big cakes too, a dozen portion sized.

I liked the wooded lot and there’s a nice gazebo out back but to consider taking on a new mortgage when I’m a year away from paying mine off then it would have to be more turn key.

Yes, there's a lot to be said for being mortgage free when looking to retire! Needing to put more time and $$ into a "new" place... yeah, more turn key would be better!!

Yowzaa, must be one heck of an upgrade!
Yes, about another 1000 square feet and a third car garage. It’s priced about $110k more than what ours is worth. We did go look at it and it’s not terrible but whoever took the pictures made it look better than it was. I counted three doors that need replacing and a lot of the rooms need painted. It has a high deck on one side that has some wood rot on one of the posts and it desperately needs stained. For some reason they painted all the molding brown which we didnt like. It would take a good bit of time and money to get it where we wanted. I liked the wooded lot and there’s a nice gazebo out back but to consider taking on a new mortgage when I’m a year away from paying mine off then it would have to be more turn key.

FINAL IMPRESSIONS

I will tell you right of the bat that I really love the device as well as the tank and coils. The appearance is one thing but appearance isn't performance. Performance wise the tank hasn't leaked mostly because of top air but each vape is smooth and very flavorful, it is a bit on the loud side but not by much. MY only con is removing the drip tip when filling with 100ml bottles.

The device fires instantly with no delay and as mentioned earlier it will fir pressing the firebar in any location. The display is large with bright colors and easy to read numbers as well font size. T battery cover is solid having zero movement to it, moving covers drive a bit nuts so it's nice it stays in place.

Both coils proved very flavorful but I lean to 0.15Ω coil over the 0.23Ω, both provide plenty of warm to the vape for me. I have zero cons for the X-Prive Plus device and recommend this kit 100%.

I would like to thank Healthcabin for providing the X-Priv Plus Kit for review and I would also like to thank all of you that read my reviews as well. I f you would like to purchase the X-Priv Plus kit from Healthcabin a link has been provided to you below.

THANK YOU

The centered 510 connection is spring loaded and raised just enough as not to scratch the top of the device when the tank is screwed on, the throw of the 510 pin is rather stiff.

As I mentioned earlier the design on the back battery cover really appeals to me and has zero movement of play in it when the magnets are attached to the device.

Smok did what other manufacturers should do on removable battery devices, they labeled polarity in white very boldly on the battery sled ( WELL DONE ).

A battery ribbon helps to quickly remove depleted batteries, that's a nice bonus in my opinion. A small grove at the bottom of the battery cover helps to remove the cover.

I will tell you that the display screen is bright, colorful and easy to read with large fonts and numbers, navigating the menu is also very easy to do and it's one of the best I've seen. I will leave some photos of the different screen shots from the X-Prive plus below.

One that I wish was A little bit shorter in duration is the animation after the firebar is pressed, it's no big deal more of a wish than a con but I wanted to let you know. The last picture is the animation. This device fits and feels great in the hand and it's one that I'll be using in my personal rotation.

What I really like is Smok's attention to detail of putting a protective sticker on the front display screen and a cheat sheet for button combinations on the non firing side of the device, I don't like the QR code sticker on the firebar because of the residue it left behind after it was removed.

I like the ease of a sliding top cap for quick refills that free up 1 of your hands but if your using 100ml bottles you will need to remove the drip tip in order to fill the tank because the drip tip is in the way, however smaller bottles work just fine as my 60ml bottle shows.

The D-Coil double mesh coils proved to be very tasty and produce great flavor, there regular push in coils with no tab or tabs to line up. both the bottom base cap and airflow control have knurling making easier to get a hold of. Airflow has 2 slotted channels with hard stops preventing a constant spin of the airflow control.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Packaging was nothing special but it was presented very well, sliding out the inner container shows the device and tank along with a spare bubble glass tube. Below the tray is where all to components for this kit lay.

I was very happy with the Black Shell color's appearance that was sent to me and it's fairly lightweight prior to installing the batteries.

SMOK X-PRIV PLUS KIT REVIEWED BY BIGBOB2322

Hello folks and welcome back to today's review of the X-Priv Plus Kit from Smok. I have to tell that I was thrilled to receive a full size mod and tank combo for a change of pace from the many pod kits. Even though the X-Priv Plus is a full size mod it's rather compact in size, not a lot but enough to really appreciate the size difference. The TF-D Subtank in the kit has a 5.5ml capacity and uses coils from the D-Series.

The X-Priv Plus runs on replaceable dual 18650 batteries and has no physical buttons because it's a touch screen for adjustments with a firebar, I really like firebars and the firebar on the X-Priv fires any place you press it beit top, middle or bottom. This ia a wattage only device with a maximum power output of 225 watts plus this device has very noticeable haptic feedback in sound and feel. You get 3 different display screen themes to choose from as well, there's a lot to get to so let's get started.

Might the net gain from selling the almost paid off one be enough of an offset to make it do-able?
It is possible. We would still need to get a loan for somewhere between $120-150k after putting up the money from the sale of ours.
I agree. Your current house is probably worth a lot more than you think it is. Houses are selling for a go's awful high price nowadays. Of course that is dependent on the region. Trouble is, that the new one is probably expensive too, and interest rates are not very good.
I could get a VA loan with no mortgage insurance but I think the rates are still around 5.8% or so. Thats higher than the loan I have. I don’t even know if the wife wants to go look at it or not. The open house is just from 1-3 today.
