If you search that term, the first result is the thread. I found it interesting. Some people are experiencing a change in resistance but the cause isn't clear. One or two people have the same sort of "gunk on wire" question I did, wondering if he gunk is at all conductive and a couple of them mention the wire changing resistance because of different issues. Interesting, in an academic sort of way. Thanks for your post about the meter result.
