► Digiflavor XP 77W Mod; First impressions:
The Digiflavor product line is part of the Geekvape brand and until now I had tested some of its Tank RDA & RTA and only one of their MODs, the fantastic Z1 SBS 80W that I still use. XP77W is powered by a single 18650 battery, the peculiarities are that it uses a "digi-crown" button, multicolored lighting on the panels and a three-way safety switch. I will talk about all these peculiarities later in the review.

The XP mod in this test is in "Midnight" color, to be honest I chose it myself, and Sourcemore was so nice to send it to me just as I wanted it. Practically the body is "fullblack" with the exception of the 510 plate and the decorations on the side panels. The Design features beautiful decorations and a rather attractive overall look. XP77W is built entirely of "heavy" zinc alloy and this conveys a sense of the Mod's great sturdiness, but some MTL purist Vapers might turn up their noses reading that the Mod weighs 140g without the battery! However, the compact size and very ergonomic form factor make the XP77W quite pleasant to hold.



► Digiflavor XP 77W Mod; Customizable Led Effects:
Inside the side panels there is an IML decoration with the word "DIGIFLAVOR" in the center which lights up with 8 colors of choice and in 3 different ways;
• 1; Color chosen with pulsating light.
• 2; Color chosen with fixed light.
• 3; All colors flashing.

If you choose to charge the battery inside the mod, the Led will indicate the battery level as follows:
• Red Led <3.5V
• Blue Led between 3.5V and 4.0V
• Green Led> 4.0V

The LED lighting is quite scenic and I like it, plus it glows red when the battery is low. If you don't like colored LED lights you can go to the "LED brightness" menu and lower the value to zero.





► Digiflavor XP 77W Mod; Lock / unlock button:
On the bottom of the Mod there is a Fire key protection switch with 3 lock / unlock modes depending on the position:
• Left - Fire key unlocked for adjustment
• Center - Fire key locked for adjustment
• Right - Fully locked mode

The protection switch makes DF XP 77W safer to carry and use, however it is slightly different from the Lock / unlock used on most Mods, personally I like it and I think it is a quick system to maneuver, the slider I always leave it in central position when I don't have to vary the power.



► Digiflavor XP 77W Mod; Operation Guide:
At the top of the front of the Mod is the "digi-crown" type Fire key this is a do-it-all key that replaces the setting of the "+ and -" keys by turning it left or right. The "digi-crown" key also functions as a normal Fire key, simply by pressing it. The key appears solid and easy to identify for the fingers, however it is necessary to get used to handling it and it is not difficult during use to inadvertently change the settings, at this point the collaboration of the lock / unlock switch becomes very useful.

Below the "Digi-Crown" key is the 0.96 ”TFT display which shows the following information; battery level indicator, operating mode, set power, amperes, coil resistance, volts, puff counter.

The display is very bright, however to read some information you need a good eyesight due to the small size of the characters used. Below the display is the USB-C charging port.

• Power On / Off: Press the crown button (Fire) 5 times in quick succession.
• New atomizer: When a new atomizer is inserted the user is prompted to select new / old atomizer.
• Power Adjustment: Rotate the crown button (Fire) to adjust the power between 5 and 77W, the increment is 0.5W at a time.

•• Menu: Press the Fire button 3 times to access the following options; Fire Mode, Brightness, LED Color, Theme, Reset. Within each menu category there is a second level of options as follows:
• Fire Mode: Power, Bypass, VPC, TC-Ni, TC-SS, TC-Ti, TCR
• Brightness: To adjust the brightness level of the display or LED
• LED color: To choose the color and type of lighting (pulsating, flashing or always on)
• Display Theme: To choose between four different background colors
• Reset: To reset the device to factory data



► Digiflavor XP 77W Mod; 18650 battery:
In the back of the Mod there is a sturdy magnetized lid, entirely built in zinc alloy, it alone weighs 25g! This hatch has two rows of safety vents for the cell, a total of 12 vents! These vents are not only useful but also have a nice aesthetic function. The lid with its 4 magnets adheres perfectly to the mod without any movement, the slot for the 18650 cell is made of fireproof material and shows the polarity indications "+ and -" clearly. The contacts are gold plated for better electrical conductivity, the positive pole (at the top) is spring loaded to facilitate battery insertion, while a useful red "Digiflavor" branded strap is present to facilitate battery extraction. ".





► Digiflavor XP 77W Mod; 510 mug:
The steel 510 cup is held in place with three torx screws and is positioned in the center of the Mod, the pin is gold plated and is spring loaded. XP Mod in Kit version is equipped with a sub-ohm tank. However, it is also possible to install small MTL atomizers with very good aesthetic results.

Ultimately XP 77W is a beautiful compact Mod, works well and goes well with MTL tanks. Moreover, thanks to the numerous functions present in the chipset, it guarantees various and important methods of use, in particular for regenerable tanks. There are some things to get used to, such as the adjustment of the crown wheel button which, however, is worthily flanked by the locking / unlocking slider button, which I recommend to keep in the intermediate position. A peculiarity that is difficult to get used to is the presence of too small characters in the menu which made me difficult to read due to my poor eyesight.

Thanks for joining me for yet another review. If you have followed my reviews over time you will know that I have written reviews for Geekvape for a few years now. It’s been several months since I have reviewed for them since the representative I was dealing with has disappeared and I have been unable to get in contact with a new person at Geekvape. However, Sourcemore has come to the rescue and provided me with the Geekvape Max 100 kit for this review. A big thanks to Sourcemore. The Max 100 is the latest version of the Max mod with aesthetic changes that make it similar in appearance to the M100, S100, and L200. It’s IP68 rated and has the A-Lock function that I personally like very much. It can use 18650/ 20700/21700 batteries and has a maximum output of 100 watts. It also has a new 1.08” display screen. It is paired with the 2021 Z sub ohm tank that I have gotten with a couple other kits that I have reviewed. It’s nothing new but definitely a good tank with well performing coils. Let’s take a look at the contents and some promotional images and I’ll give my opinion on the Geekvape Max 100 kit sent to me by SOURCEMORE.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

The packaging for the Max 100 is the usual orange and black box from Geekvape with a picture of the device on the front of the outer sleeve while the back side has a list of features, package contents, authenticity code, and company information.

Once the outer sleeve and box top are removed then the Max 100 mod is visible in a foam insert. After removing that insert the tank can be seen sitting inside another smaller insert and a box containing the spare coil, extra glass, USB-C charging cable, spare o rings, user manual, 18650 battery adapter, and coil tool.









The 510 connection plate on top is held in place by three torx head screws and has a gold plated spring loaded center pin. The base of the Z tank is tapered at the bottom and there is still a couple millimeters of space left where you could use a slightly larger tank.

The Max 100 uses the same type of screw in battery cap with the flip up lever like is used on previous versions of mods in the Aegis line of devices. I know there have been some complaints of the threads stripping but I personally have not had an issue with it and have used mods of other brands that use the same type of battery cap. The bottom side of the cap is marked with a negative sign and the inside of the mod has a large red + sign to mark battery polarity.







The display for the Max 100 is the same as what I’ve seen on previous Aegis mods. The display shows the following information.

- Mode of operation

- Battery level indicator

- Set wattage and lock/unlock

- Coil resistance

- Current draw in amps while under load

- Voltage output under load

- Puff counter/ length of current puff

The button/menu operation of the Max 100 is the same as what we’ve seen in the past. Nothing new there but I’ll go ahead and list out the operation for those that aren’t familiar with it.

- Press the fire button five times to turn the device on or off

- Press the fire button three times to highlight the mode of operation and use the + and – buttons to scroll through the modes which are Power, Bypass, VPC, TC-NI, TC-TI, TC-SS, and TC-TCR

- To lock resistance or reset puff counter, press the fire button three times to highlight the mode and then press the fire button to scroll to either setting

- Press the fire button and + or – button to increase or decrease the screen brightness

- To change the screen color, highlight the mode and then press the + and – buttons at the same time

- To view the software information, turn the device off and then press the + and – buttons

- To do a factory data reset, once the software information is viewable, press the fire, + and – buttons at the same time




The Max 100 is IP68 rated and has a new 1.1” display screen. The body of the mod is made of zinc alloy, rubber, and leather. The right side of the frame has the Geekvape name stamped into it. The left side has the star of the show in my opinion. The left side has the A-Lock slide switch. By simply sliding the switch down you easily lock the device. No button presses to memorize to lock it out.

On the back of the mod I received is a slightly padded black leather with two horizontal orange stitches running across it. There are also three horizontal rectangles indented in the leather. I guess this is some kind of design or something that I’m not aware of.





The tank included in the kit is the Geekvape Z Subohm 2021 tank that has been included in other previous kits and is not new. However it really is a good tank that I’ve tested and used a few times now. It comes with two coils. One is .25 ohm and rated at 45-57 watts while the other is .2 ohm rated at 70-80 watts. The difference being besides the resistance is that one is a single coil and the other is a dual coil. I feel like both coils produce very good flavor and vapor production. I guess I’ve been using too many rdas because I just didn’t remember this tank being slightly restrictive even with the airflow open all the way. At least that was my experience using the .25 ohm coil. However, it has been a while since I’ve tested this tank.

The top cap is a bayonet style and just takes a small turn to open it to expose the very large fill ports. I can’t think of a bottle that is normally used that couldn’t fit in these ports. The coils are push in style and there is a tool included for removing the coils if your fingers aren’t strong enough to pull them out. The center chamber has a hand holding a lightning bolt on it. I personally like the old Zeus logo better. The base of the tank has the name of the tank along with what I believe is a serial number and of course “Designed by Geekvape” on the lower edge.





FINAL THOUGHTS:

I have enjoyed testing the Geekvape Max 100 Kit that was sent to me by Sourcemore. The Max 100 mod in my mind is just a larger version of the S100 (Solo 2) despite a few changes like the larger display screen. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. I liked the S100 and like that I can have a mod with similar operation with the advantage of longer battery life using a 21700 battery. The A-Lock is probably my favorite feature on this series of Aegis mods. I like to vape while driving and like that the A-Lock is large enough and textured that I can move the slide switch without looking if I have forgotten to unlock it before leaving. The mod in my opinion is really a nice size and comfortable to hold. I felt like I got good battery life like I normally do with most Geekvape mods.

The Z Subohm 2021 Tank is a solid tank in my opinion. The large fill ports make it easy to fill with no mess and the top airflow design makes it almost impossible to have a leak. I have never had any leaking with this tank after testing it for review multiple times. The redesigned base makes sure you get a good connection with the bottom of the coil. The Z series coils that are used with this tank provide very good flavor in my opinion. I do tend to run them a little on the low end as far as wattage. The .25 ohm coil was no problem and found I liked it at 47 watts with the airflow completely open. I did find it odd that with this one I felt like the airflow was slightly restricted. The .2 ohm coil was a little different story. I am not comfortable running this coil in the 70-80 watt range so ended up around 60 watts. It’s not that the coil can’t handle it but I don’t like a really warm vapor most of the time.

So, would I recommend the Geekvape Max 100 Kit for you? If you like 21700 mods that extend your battery life over an 18650 and want something that is dust, shock, and water proof then yes I would. Hello. Today I’m here to talk about the new Lost Vape Ursa Baby Pod Kit. It’s the latest release in the Ursa series of devices. I have previously tested and liked the original Ursa mod kit, the Ursa Mini pod mod, and the Ursa Nano pod kit. So, you’re probably wondering what’s different about this one. The first thing is the shape. This one follows the trend of having a square shape where the pod sits inside and only a portion of the pod and the mouthpiece stick out of the top. Lost Vape was nice enough to provide two of the Baby kits for my review which is nice since the kits only include one pod. The Baby has an 800mah built in battery with an output range of 9-18 watts depending on which pod is used due to its smart pod detection. The pods are 2.5ml which is a good size and a little larger than the standard 2ml I’m used to seeing on a device like this. That’s enough for now. Let’s see what’s in the kit and check some promotional images then I’ll give my thoughts on it.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

The packaging on the Ursa Baby is rather simple but nice. I like how it has the clear viewing window so you can easily see the color and design of the device inside. On the back is a list of contents along with an authenticity code, label telling which version is inside, and company information.




I received two kits for review purposes and am glad that I did. It allowed me to test an RY4 cream recipe in one and a mint recipe in the other. The reason I say this is that included in each kit is the Baby mod, lanyard, USB-C charging cable, and only one .8 ohm pod which is pre-installed. I’ve never agreed with only sending one pod in a kit. If that one is bad or not working correctly then the customer has nothing to use until they can either return it or find more pods. I don’t know how popular the lanyards are but I never use them and would have rather had another pod instead of the lanyard.



The Ursa Baby is actually a little larger in person than I thought it would be with the “Baby” name but is still small enough to easily carry in a pocket. On either side is an insert that I think is supposed to look like an electronic circuit or something but reminds me of a spider. I like how the body is clear and you can see the electronics inside. There are two LED’s that illuminate and pulse on and off while taking a puff. It also illuminates when charging the battery level indication is Red <3.7V <Blue 3.9V<Green. The Baby also has a few warning indications as follows.

Low Battery: LED indicator will flash for 10 times and the output will

automatically cut off once the battery voltage below 3.3v before use or

lower than 3.0v when using.

Short Circuit: LED indicator will flash 3 times when short-circuit

occurred.

Open-circuit: when no atomizer detected or open-circuit occurred, the

indicator will flash for 3 times.

Over 10s: LED indicator will flash for 5 times and no power output when
you vape over 10s continuously.




There is not a fire button on the Baby. It is auto draw only which I prefer on a device with this type of square shape. Fire buttons on this design tend to be awkward to fire in my opinion. What appears to be a fire button in the picture below is actually a sliding airflow control. The small knob sticking out makes it very easy to adjust the airflow but the slide itself is very stiff as to not accidentally move when taking in and out of a pocket.



The USB-C charging port is on the bottom of the Baby. It has an 800mah battery internally and even though I have not seen where they say what the charging rate is, I know it charged in less than an hour. I didn’t time it though.



The opening for inserting the pod in the top has two strong magnets along with two gold plated contacts to power the coil in the pod. There are three holes on one side that I assume is the airflow inlet that leads to the adjuster. There is also a rectangular opening on the opposite side . The bottom of the pod has two offset holes on the bottom along with magnets. The offset holes allow the airflow of the pod to not only provide air for the puff but also to activate the auto draw sensor. Also on the left side of the top of the mod is a notch opening that allows you to install the lanyard if you so choose.





Like I mentioned earlier, the kit only came with one pod but there is another pod that is compatible with the Baby which is a 1.0 ohm resistance. It has an output range of 9-18 watts depending on the pod used. The included pod is .8 ohms and is a side fill pod. Both pods have a 2.5ml capacity. The rubber stopper does rotate out of the way to make it more convenient for filling. I was able to hold the pod at approximately 45 degrees and fill the pod completely with no mess using a 50ml plastic bottle. The pod itself is somewhat tinted but I was able to see my liquid level without much trouble.





FINAL THOUGHTS:

In my opinion the Ursa Baby is a great little pocket carry pod device. The auto fire only is a good fit not only for smokers looking to make the switch to vaping but also convenient for pocket carrying since there is not a button to worry about pressing by accident. I definitely like that the airflow is adjustable. I think adjustable airflow should be a requirement on all pod devices. The adjustment on this one allows the user to go from a tight MTL to what I would call a loose MTL or RDL depending on your style of vaping.

I didn’t notice much if any difference in the performance of the output when it went from green to blue and only noticed a slight difference when the output got low enough to go to red on the LED. The flavor production was good but not rda good. It was pretty good for a pod device. I was able to go through a whole pod and a little out of the next one before the LED turned red which would equate to about 3ml of liquid run through before hitting red. Red doesn’t mean it’s dead but it’s getting low. I tend to charge once I hit the red. I felt like the battery held up well for using a .8 ohm pod.

So, would I recommend the Ursa Baby to you? Well if you would like a small pocket carry pod with good flavor and quite a bit of vapor production for a small unit as well as having adjustable airflow then yes I would.

► Lost Vape Ursa Baby was given to me for this test in "Blue Clear" which I really like, but I must say that the other color choices are also interesting. On the polycarbonate body of Ursa Baby Lost Vape he placed two vertical writings in white, barely visible; on one side "Ursa Baby and on the other side" Lost Vape ".



► Lost Vape with the outstanding transparency of Ursa Baby, brilliantly solved the Led display problem. The LED signals are widely visible through its transparent body. The monitoring of the notifications of protection, status, and the level of remaining battery life during the vape and while recharging are indicated by red, blue and green LEDs. The device automatically selects the output power in the range 9-18 watts based on the resistance used.

The Led indicator shows the charge levels in the following way :
• Low, below 3.7V; Red
• Medium, between 3.7 and 3.9V; Blue
• High, between 3.9 and 4.2V; Green



► Lost Vape Ursa Baby; Protection Indications:
• Low battery; The LED indicator flashes red 5 times during vaping when the battery voltage is lower than 3.3V. The Led indicator flashes red 5 times before use when the battery voltage is less than 3.0V.
• In the event of a short circuit, the LED flashes white 3 times
• In case of "open circuit" the LED flashes green 3 times
• In case of continuous and prolonged activation for 10s, the LED flashes green 8 times



► Lost Vape Ursa Baby is equipped with a precise AFC system and the user can adjust the latter with a special slider using a sturdy metal knob. The Puff can take on narrow MTL or rather airy RDL connotations. At the top of the back of the mod there is a slot to attach the collar provided in the kit.





► Lost Vape Ursa Baby in the compartment / pod uses a system with two very strong magnets to hold the cartridge firmly. On the bottom of the compartment / pod there are; the automatic activation mechanism of the puff and two spring-loaded and gold-plated pins for electrical transfer to the resistance.



► On the bottom of Ursa Baby there is the Type-C charging port, the information attributable to the manufacturer, the disposal logo and the legal mark are also shown. Ursa baby contains within it an 800mAh battery, which for most vaper's will last all day, as I have already described the battery interfaces to a Type-C charging port and to a LED that will show with the colors previously referred to the current charge levels.



► Lost Vape Ursa Baby: Cartridge:
According to Lost Vape the Ursa Baby / Ursa Nano cartridge. Leverage a leak-proof system that has successfully passed countless tests.



The 2.5ml refillable cartridge includes a comfortable and ergonomic drip tip, on the bottom of the cartridge there are two magnets mirroring those present on the Mod and two channels for the automatic activation of the Puff attributable to those present inside the compartment / pod of the device . The cartridge is made of PCTG and despite the dark color, it offers a discreet visual control on the level of internal e-liquid. The refill takes place laterally by lifting a silicone rubber. The filling hole is large enough, however the lateral filling position does not allow for a complete filling. I have estimated that introducing more than 2ml of liquid is quite difficult.
The supplied cartridges clearly show the resistance value inside them.





► Lost Vape Ursa Baby Pod Kit; Final conclusions:
Ursa Nano Pod Kit makes it easy to use even for beginners thanks to incredibly showy LED signals, moreover it relies only on a fully automatic suction system and gives up any control button to prevent accidents when the device is placed in the pocket. The only adjustable feature of the URSA Nano is an airflow control switch to select at will the type of Puff (MTL / RDL) you want to obtain.

In the kit there is a 0.8Ω cartridge. I did the Ursa Baby test with one of my favorite flavors for Pod Mod (Colonel Custard) diluted to 10% with Boost concentration at 6mg / ml. The test also includes considerations for the 1.0Ω cartridge (optional) that Lost Vape kindly sent me.

With the AFC system completely closed, both 0.8Ω and 1.0Ω cartridges offer flawless, yet very similar, MTL operation. The blow in the throat is present, the puff is fluid and without any operating irregularities. The flavor is above the average of the "disposable pods" that are on the market. By opening the AFC system and letting more air pass the 1.0Ω pod shows its limitations, it is clear that the 1.0Ω pod is made exclusively for MTL.

The 0.8Ω pod is my favorite! It performs well in MTL with closed AFC and supports even more open AFC settings well with a good amount of vapor emitted which enhances its excellent aromatic qualities. I estimated the average duration of these disposable pods at an eliquid consumption of about 25 / 30ml.

An extremely positive note to take into consideration when purchasing Ursa Baby is that the Lost Vape anti-leaking system (the same as Ursa Nano) works perfectly and even after a very long use I have not detected any trace of condensation.

Battery management is very good, only towards the end of the charge there is a slight and natural drop in power, the time taken for a complete charging cycle is about 60 minutes.
