The box shows on the front an image of the device, the logo, the brand, and logically the name of the product. On the back you can read, the content, the manufacturer's support addresses, barcode, scratch & check, trademarks and legal logos. On the remaining sides of the box you can see numerous features in the form of icons.

► Hellvape Eir Pod Kit; First Impressions:
I think this is Hellvape's first Pod-Mod and I have to say it looks really good! It has a sturdy alluminium alloy construction, two different activation systems (manual and automatic), replaceable coils, a rather spectacular LED, a bright mini-display and a fairly large battery with fast charging! Furthermore, Eir Pod has an effective regulation of the air flow through the tested 180 ° rotation system of the cartridge. Hellvape is one of my favorite brands and even if I am not a fan of "Pod Mod" I am very intrigued by this device because it appears very well finished and full of options. In the image below you can evaluate the compactness of Eir pod kit compared in size to a common lighter! The cockpit has an oval screen with a small and very bright display inside, the power button is slightly protruding and well sized. The other side of Eir Pod Kit bears the word "Hellvape" arranged vertically and in white. For the review I was sent two EIR kits and a box of coils. The two color versions I received are Gunmetal and Darkish / Green. Both are very beautiful, as are the other colors in the entire range.



► Hellvape Eir Pod Kit; Display:
It contains all the basic information such as; Graphic level of battery charge, Set power, Ohm of the Coil, Puff counter. In addition, the chipset will send safety notifications to the screen in case of malfunctions.



► Hellvape Eir Pod Kit; Operation Guide:
• 5 clicks to turn on / off the Mod
• To set the power, make 3 clicks, then the numerical value will flash, click to go up by 0.5W at a time up to 18W and click again to restart from 5w.
• Low battery: The LED flashes 10 times and delivery stops, then recharges the device.
• Protection from prolonged activation 10S: The LED flashes 3 times when you exceed 10s of continuous vaping.
• Short-circuit protection: The LED blinks 5 times when the device is short-circuited.
• Recharge: While the device is being recharged, the LED is activated in the following ways; when the recharging of the device is interrupted, the LED flashes 4 times;
• When recharging is complete, the LED stays on.



► Hellvape Eir Pod Kit; MTL Airflow:
On the side profile of the mod there is a small hole to convey the external air towards the inside of the compartment / pod and towards the coil. The size of this hole is what one would expect to achieve a well calibrated MTL flow.



► Hellvape Eir Pod Kit; AFC:
By inserting the cartridge inside the Eir Mod we get a certain air flow, by removing the cartridge and turning the cartridge by 180 ° we get another type of air flow. You can choose between MTL stream and RDL stream.



► Hellvape Eir Pod Kit; Over and Under:
The compartment / pod naturally contains the two contacts for electrical conduction towards the coil, but also contains the automatic detection sensor of the puff which is of the raised type to avoid the absorption of condensation residues. There are no magnets and the cartridge fits mechanically by interference into the body of the Mod in a precise way.



The Usb-C charging socket for the integrated 800mAh battery is located on the bottom and it takes an average of 40 minutes to fully recharge the cell.



► Hellvape Eir Pod Kit; Eir cartridge:
Eir Pod's Pctg cartridge has the classic duckbill form factor that is very comfortable for the lips, the body of the Pod is dark, but this does not prevent the visual control of the internal e-liquid. The refill is of the lateral type, quite convenient, and allows you to insert up to 2.5ml of e-liquid. I usually use 10 or 30ml plastic bottles for refilling and both fit easily into the fill port. The coils are inserted from the bottom with a slight pressure.





► Hellvape Eir Pod Kit; Eir Meshed Coils:
Eir Kit is delivered with a single spare coil, it is a 0.8Ω Mesh Coil P3-01 KA1 with range 14-16W and as an option it will also be possible to purchase a 1.2Ω Mesh Coil P3-02 KA1 with range 10-12W.



Both Mesh Coils P3-01 and P3-02 can be purchased in containers of 3 pieces each, Hellvape was kind enough to send me 3 spare ones, but they are all P3-01 KA1 from 0,8Ω, so I will not be able test the P3 -02 KA1 of 1.2Ω.



► Hellvape Eir Pod Kit; Vaping test & final conclusions:
Although there are an infinite number of pod proposals on the market, I must say that it was a huge satisfaction to test Eir Pod Kit, because this is a real pocket jewel that clearly stands out from the others, is rich in features, is robust and well finished. The screen is minimal but it is bright, and the fonts are clearly visible. Furthermore, the screen and the LED light up only during extraction, also allowing a certain energy saving for a greater autonomy of vaping. In "automatic puff" mode the extraction is perfect and free of indecisions, however for those who want it there is the classic activation mode via a sturdy and silent Fire key of exquisite workmanship. The 800mAh internal battery has a suitable size for this kind of device, guarantees a long autonomy and can be charged in about 40 minutes with a charging speed of 5 V / 1A. I managed to get 190 puffs at a constant 15W before recharging the battery.

For my Vaping test I used Crispy aroma mixed at 10% in a solution of Vg50 / Pg50 with 3mg / ml of nic. With the Mod set to 15W the hit in the throat is evident, and the flavor is very good, with a notable production of vapor especially in the RDL position of the AFC. The difference in the airflow by turning the cartridge is stark and I believe this is one of the best systems of its kind. The AFC system guarantees both fluidity and contrast to the puff, flawlessly. The MTL flow is really well contrasted and allows you to accentuate the hit in the throat, even if I'm not a fan of the restricted MTL, I must say that with this coil I feel really good, both for the flavor and for heat of the steam. The puff looks very clean, without spitbacks and even the formation of condensation was really negligible if not absent. The "SMART" function selects the right activation power thanks to the reading accuracy of the coil, my 0.8 coil is read on the display precisely 0.8!

In conclusion, if you are looking for a high-quality, high-performance Pod device in the MTL range, I highly recommend that you consider Eir Pod Kit.

iSolo Air 2 is a very cute All-In_One kit, incredibly pocketable and very easy to use. It has a built-in 1500mAh battery with a maximum output of 40W. The new black GTL Coils are both developed for MTL with the airflow being precisely adjustable. In addition, the cartridges of Eleaf GTL Mini Pod, Eleaf GTL Mini Pod 2 are fully compatible with all GTL coils and with the iSOLO AIR 2 Mod.



► Eleaf iSolo Air 2; it is an ideal kit for beginner vapers who wish to quit smoking, it does not have the automatic shot, but has a monochrome display reminiscent of that of the legendary Eleaf Pico 75.

The beautiful leather decoration also extends to the back covering the handle to provide a comfortable and luxurious grip, in the upper part near the cartridge you can see the steel knob that serves for the adjustment of the lateral airflow that we have seen in the image previous one.

The control panel is thinner than the body of the Mod and extends forward in a slender way. Above you can see the Fire key which is round and concave in the center, below is the vertical display clearly inspired by "Pico Mod" the characters are bright and easy to read, the display shows; Ohm, number of puffs, set power and duration of the last puff. At the bottom are the "+ and -" adjustment buttons and the 5V / 2A type-C charging port.



► Eleaf iSolo Air 2; Operation Guide:
• On / Off: 5 clicks on the Fire button
• Lock / Unlock the Mod: Press and hold the +/- buttons at the same time.
• Adjust the power: Use the +/- buttons in increments / decrements of 0.1W at a time up to 20W, and of 0.5W between 20 and 40W.
• Flip Screen: Press and hold the Fire button and the - button.
• Puff reset: Press and hold the Fire button and the + button.

The cartridge is small and made of dark colored PCTG, has a fixed type "MTL" drip tip and the tank holds up to 2ml of eliquid. Eleaf has implemented the major top-up reload update. Now you can finally fill the cartridge without removing it from the mod, in fact it is enough to lift the side rubber and fill. On the bottom of the cartridge there are 3 small but very powerful magnets. The GTL coils are inserted comfortably from below and with a slight pressure.



► Eleaf iSolo Air 2; Vaping test & final conclusions:
Both Coils GTL Black edition were developed for MTL and both perform very well. They offer great flavor and more than satisfying vaping experience. Eleaf has done an excellent job with the airflow being very precisely adjustable to get a Loose or Restricted MTL, to suit your taste.



Eleaf is one of the reference manufacturers for entry-level vaping systems and iSolo Air 2 is an incredibly easy to use device, the "Smart" function defaults to the best power for vaping, despite a dance-reading of the coils, there are no drawbacks. Probably it would have been better to insert the automatic Puff function as well, however I think this is not of vital importance for you, also because the activation via the key is fast and the key is of very good quality. The 1,500mAh battery in combination with these coils is able to guarantee you a very long operation before recharging the battery, a full recharge of the cell takes about 60 minutes.

Personally, I had a lot of fun using Eleaf iSolo Air 2 for this test and I think it is a very robust and really nice product. I'm sure you will like it too so I recommend it.

I’m here today to talk about the new EIR Pod kit from Hellvape that was sent to me in order to provide a fair and honest review to help you decide if you might like to try one for yourself. The EIR can be auto fired or button fired. It contains an internal 800mah battery and has an output range of 5-18 watts. It has a display screen and has adjustable airflow for MTL or RDL vaping. The kit comes with a single pod and only has one replaceable coil in .8 ohm resistance but there is an optional 1.2 ohm coil. The pod has a 2.5ml liquid capacity and is side fill. Of course I’d prefer top fill but sometimes you can’t have everything.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

I believe this is the first pod from Hellvape. I have high hopes as it looks good on paper. The packaging for the EIR isn’t the usual red/black packaging that I’m used to seeing from them on most of the review samples I’ve received in the past. Instead the EIR comes in an orange and white package that has a nice color picture on the front along with the Hellvape logo and EIR name. I’m not really sure what they are trying to model with the orange dots but I like the design. The back of the package has a contents list, company information, an authenticity QR code, and a bar code with the color name of the device contained inside.

Once opened, there is a large orange box with the Hellvape name on the front. Inside is contained the user manual, USB-C charging cable, an empty EIR 2.5ml pod, .8 ohm KA1 coil, and a lanyard. I personally don’t like lanyards but it was nice of Hellvape to include one for those that do like them. For review purposes I was sent two of the EIR kits as well as two boxes of coils. Hellvape is always very generous with review samples. The two color versions that I received were the light blue/pink and the silver/black. Both are very nice looking and the blue pink one is such a nice fade that I don’t mind the pink at all.

The EIR pod is a side fill pod. I always prefer a top fill when it comes to pods but was easily able to fill the pod with no mess. The fill port plug has an arrow on it indicating which side to pull up on to open it for filling. It isn’t super easy but the plug can be rotated some to get it out of the way for filling. I use a lot of 10 and 50ml plastic bottles and both fit in the fill port easily.

One thing I noticed immediately is that the mouthpiece on the EIR pod is quite a bit wider than other pods that I regularly use. It isn’t an issue and is quite comfortable to use but just feels different than what I am used to. One side of the pod has the Hellvape name printed on it. I personally like this so if I have multiple pods in use then I can easily tell which one this pod goes to. I am in the habit of having several pods and mods going at the same time so it is handy to be able to identify which pod this one is to be used on. The EIR pod is tinted but I am able to see the liquid level in good lighting.

The EIR only comes with one P3-01 .8 ohm coil which is rated at 14-16 watts. There is also a 1.2 ohm P3-02 coil available for purchase separately. Both are mesh coils and made of KA1. The coils are a push in style and have two flat sides that have to be inserted a certain way into the pod to seat properly which can be seen in the second picture below. You might notice that there are two airflow inlet holes on the bottom of the pod but no magnets like what are seen on most pods. The pod simply snaps into place into the opening on the battery portion. The airflow holes are recessed a little and are slotted out to the end of the pod. The reason for this is that you can rotate the pod for either MTL or DTL airflow. The difference in airflow when the pod is rotated is very obvious and this is probably one of the better ones that I’ve tried with this type of design. I’ve seen this same type of design on one or two other pod devices that I have reviewed. Some work better than others. This one seems to work pretty well.

I think that Hellvape did a really nice job with the color fade on the samples that I received. I felt like the blue pink version I received photographed better so used it for most of my pictures. I will place a side by side picture of them together at the end of this review so you can see the other one.

What I am going to call the back side of the EIR has the Hellvape name printed on it in white lettering. It’s little big but not overpowering branding. On one side is a single airflow hole with none on the opposite side. A lot of pods I’ve reviewed have an airflow hole on each side. I believe the reason for this is that it helps to regulate the airflow depending on which way you have the pod inserted. The pod opening on the EIR has the standard two gold plated spring loaded contacts and a single raised airflow inlet. I don’t remember where I saw it first but many manufacturers have started using that raised style air inlet to avoid getting liquid or condensation in the airflow sensor which could then cause it to fail and no longer operate in auto draw mode.

The 800mah battery contained in the EIR is charged via what is being called a high speed USB-C charging port located on the bottom of the pod. So you won’t be standing this one up to charge but honestly I never stand up pods to charge even if the port is located on the side.

Now let’s take a look at the star of the show on the EIR which is the front side that contains the clear display, multi-function fire button, and an added little bonus on the bottom. The display isn’t extra bright but is bright enough to see and shows the set wattage, coil resistance, a battery level indicator, and a puff counter. The EIR can be used as an auto draw device and can also be button fired. The fire button also allows you to change the wattage and reset the puff counter. The button operation is as follows.

• Press the button 5X in 2 seconds to power on/off
• Press the button 3X in 1.2 seconds and when the icon flashes then press the button to adjust the power

I almost forgot to talk about the bonus on the bottom that I mentioned. The display only lights when you press the button so Hellvape put the EIR logo on the bottom black part of the face so that it lights up when you take a puff using auto draw to let you know that the device has been activated. I also noticed that if you press the button without a pod installed then the EIR will flash on the bottom. I didn’t see anything in the user manual that talked about this indication.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

I have to say that it has been a real pleasure testing the Hellvape EIR. In a world of thousands of pods on the market, the EIR is a feature packed small pod that stands out from the crowd. It reminds me a little of the Xlim V2 that I reviewed and liked that one also.

I really like the design and color options on the EIR. The fade or gradient ones I received are very well done. I tried looking it up but didn’t see where it said what material the body of the EIR is made of. It’s pretty lightweight so I’m guessing it is aluminum. The display screen, although small, is a welcome addition to this pod. I think it was very smart for Hellvape to design it with the light up EIR to display on the bottom when using it in auto draw instead of wasting battery power illuminating the display every time a puff is taken. However, for those that prefer a button firing operation then the EIR can be used like that also. The auto draw function has worked flawlessly on both of the samples I received. To see the battery level you do need to press the button to turn on the display since there isn’t a separate battery level indicator light like what is found on many pod devices without display screens. The internal 800mah battery is a good fit for a device of this size and can be charged in about 40 minutes with the 5V/1A charging rate.

Really the only thing that I can think of that I don’t like about the EIR is that it only comes with one coil. Since there are two different coils available, I think it would have been a good idea to include one of each. However that is not the case so only the one .8 ohm mesh coil was included with each kit. Hellvape was nice enough to include an extra box of the .8 ohm coils but it would have been nice to get a box of the 1.2 ohm coils to test for the review.

The EIR pod is tinted but not so dark that you can’t see the liquid level in it with normal lighting. It’s nice that there’s an extra .5ml capacity with these pods compared to most I have tested with them being 2.5ml instead of 2ml. During my time testing the two kits I received, I didn’t experience any leaking or noticeable condensation. I felt like the included coil in each kit performed very well. In one pod I used an 18mg 70/30 freebase mint recipe that I use daily at work. The throat hit was very good and flavor and vapor production were also very good. With the EIR set at 15 watts the vapor produced was more than I normally get from my daily pocket carry pod. In the second pod from the other kit I ran some Dinner Lady Lemon Tart from a one shot that I mix myself. It was also 70/30 freebase and the flavor produced with the same 15 watt setting was exactly what I would have expected from this mix. I mean it isn’t as dense of a vapor as what you would get from an rda or anything but for a pod device it was very good and the flavor profile was easily recognizable.

So, here I am again at the end of another review. You might already know the answer to this but would I recommend the Hellvape EIR Pod kit for you? I most definitely would. I really like it very much. When you test as many pod kits as I have then it really takes a full featured and well performing device to make an impression. This one has done that. It is one of very few pod devices that I have tested that I actually plan on buying replacement coils for.

Our Croatian friends created an orange and Pandoro cake, with which we want to strengthen the dessert line. It certainly succeeded. Pandoro is a very soft, octagonal Christmas candy sprinkled with powdered sugar that originates from Verona. I haven't had any luck with it yet, but if it's as delicious and fragrant as this aroma, you should definitely get it. The smell is very cakey, very orange, it's hard to resist. On the way in, the sweet taste of the cake comes out, and when you exhale, you also get a big dose of orange. All this in the form of powerful, accentuated fine flavors. Like a fruity kuglóf well sprinkled with powdered sugar. It's very sweet, but not that sticky, easily acceptable. In fact, it needs so much candy. The orange is sweet and ripe in harmony with the cake. It evokes a real Christmas atmosphere, sitting next to the fireplace, covering the room in fragrant steam. Even if you have a fireplace. Unfortunately, everything good has its bad, the little one does coke quite well. It's worth the sacrifice for me, as the taste and smell make up for it.

Hey everyone, I was using GTL tank from eleaf for some time and I want to upgrade to a non-pod tank. I really like the RDL style vaping with GTL having 0.4 coils. I did my research and found Zenith 2 with 0.3 ohm coils and Nautilus 3 with 0.3 ohm coils, but with nautilus I have a problem with little holes for airflow, I really like tons of air. I read review of Zenith II on this forum and found it to be good. But my main question is how long does the 0.3 ohm Z-Coil last and how does it taste? (especially after like a week) and if it leaks easily. I tend to go with ~300 puffs a day 25w 80vg/20pg 6mg nic, sometimes a bit more (puffs). Also if you have better suggestion for RDL tank just let me know, (For those who want to suggest RBA tanks: I only have one hand, so building my own coils is probably not possible.)

Im looking for personal experince from someone who used this atomizer with this coil for some time. Thanks in advance!



Edit: My concern is coming from comments under many videos of Zenith II saying that coils burn out at best after one week, many claiming 2 days, my gtl coil lasts for 1 month, so im looking for coil with similiar life time.
