Vaperz Cloud Valkyrie RTA - Replacement straight glass?

Hi all,

Ordered and received the relatively new Valkyrie RTA a few days ago. The straight glass unfortunately broke after cleaning the tank down, simply by putting the glass on and taking it off. The bubble glass works but I prefer the aesthetics of the straight glass. Vaperz Cloud do not stock replacement glass on their website (US/UK), apart from an ultem pack. Does anyone know if the Trilogy RTA glass replacement pack would fit as a workaround?

Cheers.

VAPORESSO XROS NANO POD review by hittman

Hello again. I’m here today with another review for a product that was sent to me by VAPORESSO. This time I was sent the XROS NANO pod device in order to provide a fair and honest review by VAPORESSO. I have been a long time user of the original XROS and more recently the XROS 2. I received both for reviews and liked them enough that I use them for pocket carry at work daily. The NANO is the latest in the XROS series after the XROS MINI. The NANO is more square in shape where the previous models were rectangular much like most pod devices that we have seen on the past but I have seen a few with a similar shape as the NANO on the market. It uses the Axon chip and has a 1000mah battery while the pods are compatible between all XROS models which continue to use the SSS leak resistant design starting with the XROS 2. The original XROS didn’t come with those SSS pods and I did get a little seepage but have had none with the new pods.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

The packaging for the NANO is simple but nice. On the front it shows an image of the device inside with a few features listed below. On the back of the box it shows a list of the contents along with the specifications. Once the outer cover is slid off it exposes the device with the mod with the .8 ohm pod already installed. From there, lift the tab on the bottom labeled accessory box and you will find the 1.2 ohm pod, charging cable, and instructions.

On the front of the device is the VAPORESSO name printed along with four battery indicator lights. The battery level is indicated as follows.

- 4 lights= 80-100%

- 3 lights= 60-80%

- 2 lights= 30-60%

- 1 light= 30%< or =

WBmGhwl.jpg

On one side is the sliding airflow control with a single airflow hole near the top. To be honest, I found the airflow control a little awkward to get it set where I wanted since it is a bit stiff and there isn’t much travel on it. The NANO is draw activated only so there isn’t a fire button which may disappoint some people. With the shape and size of it, I have a hard time imagining where you might put a button and it be comfortable to use. It is nice that the pods are clear and it is somewhat visible from the side while the pod is installed.

On the opposite side is a single opening near the top. The bottom of the device is where you will find the USB-C charging port. It only has a 1A charging rate so this one isn’t going to be a quick charger but with 1000mah battery it lasts quite a while. It might have been nice if the charging port was on the side instead of the bottom. Not only to stand while charging but to keep from picking up debris into the charging port if you stand it up on a table or desk when not using it.

The opening where you insert the pod is just like on the other XROS devices. It has to be so that it can use the same pods. There are two magnets along with two gold plated spring loaded contacts that make connection with the bottom of the pod. It’s a little hard to see in my picture but also is the airflow sensor opening. The right side of the top seems like wasted space and I keep wanting it to open up for storage or something although I’m sure that’s where the battery is inside.

The pods included are .8 ohm and 1.2 ohm and are the same ones that are included in the XROS 2 and XROS MINI. I don’t feel it’s necessary to cover them in detail again since I have already in both previous reviews. I will just say that the pods give good flavor and seem to last me a long time. I get no leaking at all like I did with the pods from the original XROS. Those weren’t bad but I got in a habit of removing the pod and giving it a quick wipe when refilling. I am however guilty of using them much longer than recommended. I use a simple clear mint mix in them and it doesn’t seem to gunk the coils so I continue to use the pods as long as I can. I am still using one of the original pods from the XROS 2 review I did months ago and it’s still working fine with no leaking. However, if you’re using a darker or sweeter liquid then I’m sure the pods won’t last as long.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

I personally feel like this device works as well as the other XROS devices that I like and use. To me this is basically the same thing in a different package. I’m not knocking it since some people may prefer the square shape of the NANO. It might be because I’ve been using the other XROS pods for so long but I really don’t like the shape of this new one and find it a little awkward to hold and use with the pod sitting on one side. Perhaps if it was centered then I may have liked it more. This is just my personal opinion.

The pods work well and have had zero leaking from this new version of the pods with SSS leak resistant technology. Put simply, it works even after extended use I’ve gotten no leaking from these pods. I’m glad they included an airflow adjustment since that can become a deal breaker if it doesn’t have one for some people.

I would have preferred for the charging port to have been put on the side rather on the bottom but it’s not a big deal. I like that the mod has four battery level indicators but feel like having four is a little redundant and not really necessary. Three lights or a simple green, blue, red indication would have been fine. Also with only a 1A charging rate you’re looking at near an hour to fully charge from dead.

If you like the shape of the new NANO then this may be a good one for you. The pods are very good in my opinion so it’s hard to go wrong with any of the XROS devices and it is nice to have compatibility across four devices. So here I am at the end again. Thanks to Vaporesso for sending the XROS NANO POD for this review. Thanks go out to the readers that come back time and time again to read my reviews. Below is a link to the website for you.

Unboxing and first impressions:

Hard to believe that such a beast of a kit fits into this tiny box.
Once removed the sleeve i open the box and bam!! first look at the mod...looks beautiful!!
Putting the mod aside i remove the foam tray and the rest of the contents are neatly organized at the bottom.

Once i made sure it was all these it was time to get a good look at the mod.
I got the Silver version and even thou i don't really like the color but the mod fits nicely in my hand and the aesthetics are simple yet classy.

The pod? well i have to be honest...not a fan of the design or material of the pod,not this one specifically more like the general design that seems be a trend these days.
I prefer a solid metal atomizer, unscrew the bottom, insert pod...screw back in again, fill the tank and you are ready to go.
Even thou i do not like the looks i hold my judgement to see how it performs.

Vaping time:

Ok so i got everything i need laid out on my desk, time to put it all together.

I decided to start with the coil that was preinstalled, the MX2 0.2ohm Dual Mesh Coil (60-90W) Best 80W.

I carefully prime the coil and just push it in the pod, easy peasy.
Then time to refill this bad boy, problem is there is no marking on the rubber tab to indicate which side to pull off so before i go on messing with it i have to watch a youtube review of this device so i pull off the correct side.
Not a big con but a little arrow or marking on the rubber tab would have been a nice touch.
This is a big and wide coil so you just can't jam your bottle in there and you can't refill it fast either, you gotta take your time.
Personally i thought that removing the pod from the mod and tilting the bottle made it easier to refill.

Ok so pod filled up and while i let it soak the sweet nectar of the gods i take the time to look more closely at the mod.

I turn the mod upside down since it's time to put the batteries in,pretty simple just push a bit down then forward and voila battery compartment open.
No markings on the inside for battery polarity but no problem since it is clearly marked on the door.
I insert both batteries and close it up,pretty easy actually, just gotta apply pressure down then puss and there you go mod is all powered up.
Keep in mind that the device turns on automatically once you have the batteries in and have closed the door.
You need to know this since the firing mechanism is on the side of the mod, just a heads up so you don't keep your hand pressed against the button.

Now with batteries in the mod and the door closed i run my little test to check for how well the battery door is fit into the mod.
Place a mouse pad on my desk and gently tap and slide the mod across it,after doing so the battery door is still firmly into place, good job Freemax.

I hold the mod again in my hand and shake it a bit,no rattle, clicks, clacks, thumps, tics or tacs.
It feels good and solid, perfect size for my hand...comfortable as a mod should feel.

Major points Freemax on the screen,i am loving it.
As a 46 year old who needs glasses to read ingredients off products i buy in the supermarket or to read instruction manuals this is one cool looking screen.

A large 1.3 inch IML colour screen makes it really easy for me to fiddle around without having to put on my glasses, this screen in particular has four colour schemes to choose from.

I like the screen, the way the info is displayed, its layout and size of the numbers and text but the colors feel a bit off...that is just a personal preference thou, doesn't really count as a con.

The fire button, what can i say about the fire button apart from the fact that it seems to be designed specifically for me and the way i vape and hold my mod, perfection is all i can say.

I hold the mod in my palm,i can hit the fire button and still see all the info on the screen without having to move the mod around...this mod is going up in ranks towards being one of my favorites.

Ok coil primed and ready,i drop in the pod in the mod (powerful magnets),this beast of a pod goes in without a hitch.

With drop in coils i like to break them in really slowly so i start at a measly 30 watts even thou the specs of the coil are 60-90W.

Couple of puffs and then up by 5 watts, couple more puff then up another 5 watts.
Not until i got to 55/60 watts is when i really got the scope of the quality of this coil, color me impressed.

I did dabble in wattage even at 90 watts but for those that know me i am not a warm vape type of guy,i settled at 60 watts and that right there was my sweet spot.

Keep in mind that is double than i am used to,my normal vaping is around 30'ish watts with my RTA coil which ranges between 24 to 38 sometimes 30 ohms.

I liked this coil so much that i found it hard to put it down and use my usual daily RTA.

Since i liked this coil so much i only used it for 2 days, wanted to save for ''special'' occasions hehe.

Went on to try the other coil included in the kit which is the MX1 0.15ohm mesh coil.
With this coil being much thinner filling the tank was much easier since there was more room for the tip of the e-liquid bottle.

After the usual priming the coil and letting it sit i gave it a go.

Meh...i guess it was ok,just felt to airy for me and didn't deliver as good as a performance as the MX 2 coil.

Tried working with the airflow and the wattage but still i found no sweet spot, shame really but you can't like them all.

Freemax was also kind enough to send me a box of the MX3 coils so after 2 days of using the MX1 i decided to give the MX3 a try.

The MX3's are as big and massive as the MX2's,bug chunky coil that chugs juice like a camel in the Sahara desert.

The MX3 0.15 coils 80-110 watts (recommended 100 watts) were pretty impressive,i mean for someone that likes this sort of warm vape this coil delivers.
Personally it is not for me,tried it at 80 watts and i even used it at 100 watts but darn that is just way way i mean way to hot for me.
I settled at 60 watts but i could sense that the coil needed more power,at 60 watts i got better flavor with the MX2 coils.

While using all 3 of the coils i paid attention to see if there was any leaking going on,checked about 3 or 4 times a day and happy to report there was no leaking whatsoever.
There was some minor moisture but that is to be expected, apart from that no leaking which is a huge plus in my book.

If i were to say something negative of this kit it would have to be the pod itself and well maybe the choice of coils.

Starting with the pod,i am just not a fan of these type of pods.
As i mentioned earlier i much prefer a solid metal atomizer on top but again this is just a personal preference, performance wise this coil delivered.

Coil wise well wish i would have got a chance to try out the MX1 SS316L Mesh Coil 0.12 ohm,40-80 watts (best 70 watts).
Think these coils would have been better suited for me but even so the other MX2 coils i enjoyed immensely.
Truth be told i vape a lot,low nic thou a merely 3mg so if i could afford the cost of the coils and the extra juice consumption i would gladly use them MX2 coils day in and day out.
For now i will just save some money and then order some MX2 coils and save them for special occasions and when i feel the need to pamper myself :lol:

Freemax is also going to be releasing MX4 and MX5 coils in the near future,so i will keep my eyes open for those.
Apart from those 2 new coils Freemax is also going to be releasing the Maxus DTL Pod Tank.

Pros:

-Shape,design and aesthetics of the mod make it one of my favorites
-MX2 coils are out this world, extremely gratifying to use
-Large screen,no need for glasses to operate the menu
-Leak free (major pro)

Cons:

-Not a fan of the design, shape or material of the pod (personal taste, others may differ)
-Coils i tried don't really suit my style of vaping, yes the MX2 is awesome but i know it is telling me it needs more power.
Maybe the MX1 SS316L Mesh Coil 0.12 ohm will be better suited for me,will try to get my hands on one of those and see how it goes.
-No 510 connection, gotta be honest i love the mod...it just feels right when i hold it,nice and sturdy and i would love to be able to slap one of my RTA on top of it.

Would i recommend this kit:

My answer is a resounding YES.
Now keep in mind i am not a warm vape type of guy so for me to say this is not a simple matter.
But i did enjoy a lot the performance of the MX2 coil and i love the aesthetics of the mod,it feels sturdy and solid.

So if you think these high wattage coils are for you and you're into this style of vaping i gotta recommend this kit.

Thanks to my friends at Firemax for sending me this kit along with a box of MX3 coils (hoping i can try the MX4 and MX5 when they are released).

Here are some links of the kit and coils from the Freemax official website:

Augvape Druga S RDA review - in the form of a swivel ring

In today's article, we will focus on the new version of Druga RDA from the well-known Chinese device manufacturer - Augvape. In the summer of 2021, the Chinese company Augvape announced a new RDA for the Druga line. The product information of Augvape Druga S RDA 22mm, however, is on the official website.
augvape-druga-s-rda-color.jpg

Specifications:
Height: 27.7mm
Diameter: 22mm (24mm with beauty ring)
Drip Tips: 810/510
Tray depth: 4.3mm
Side airflow
Base for one / two spirals
Squonk pin

The manufacturer has only recently emerged, during which time the RDA-box has received some additional body colors.
In addition to classic colors like black, steel and bronze, the Druga S RDA is currently available in pink and red. The unit is compact, with a height of nearly 28mm and a landing diameter of 22mm. With the help of the detachable beauty ring, the diameter can be enlarged to 24mm.

The Augvape device supports the 810 format drip type, but the 510 mouthpieces can be used with the included adapter. The unit is equipped with a side airflow adjustment system in the form of a swivel ring under the top cover, the latter being fixed in the side skirts by means of a threaded connection.

The RDA vape deck has a simple base with two racks where you can mount one or two coils. In addition, the device accepts a spacious tub with a depth of 4.3 mm. You can fill the tank from above or with the help of the squonk pins included in the delivery kit.

For Sale Cthulhu Mosfet Tube Mod II, Black

For sale is the ver 2 of the Cthulhu Tube Mod in black. Like new condition. Comes with the original product packaging (shipping tube, cloth bag, user guide). Uses 18650 or 18350 batteries.

It’s nicely made, but it has its quirks. The fire button needs to be pressed pretty much square on for it to fire. The battery contact just barely clears the insulator, so batteries with a thick-ish wrap won’t reliably fire. Todds Reviews has a good review, and shows all the pluses and minuses and a tear-down:

The lowest this can fire is 0.25 ohms. There is a alternative top cap available that turns this into a full mech with no protection. The cap is NOT included, but can be purchased from various China-based retailers for about $9 should you want to convert this from a mosfet to a full mechanical mod.

Price is $25 shipped via First Class Mail (with tracking). Insurance can be also be added for actual cost (which I think is $2.45)

Payment via PayPal FF. No mention of ECF, ecigs, vaping, etc.

Groundbreaking Study Shows Vaping Far Less Toxic Than Smoking

" A replication study has demonstrated that vaping is far less toxic than tobacco cigarettes.

The study was carried out by Center of Excellence for the acceleration of Harm Reduction of the University of Catania. (CoEHAR). The study is part of the Replica Project, which aims to replicate high quality studies that compare cigarettes with electronic alternatives.

The studies chosen were originally conducted by the tobacco industry, and therefore carry a high risk of bias. To eliminate this risk, studies were replicated by 5 different universities across the world. To minimise the risk of error, each university used three different protocols to measure the toxicity of vapour on human cells.

In an interview with the Ashtray Blog, CoEHAR Director Professor Giovanni Li Volti explained that the different methods gave the same results, albeit with some minor differences, adding:

…the final message is the same… e-cigarettes and heated tobacco are far less toxic than traditional cigarettes.”

The study also uses open science, making all the data available for other scientists and journalists to read and analyze, a practice still rare in the scientific world."

" Unfortunately we’re still in a situation where doctors and scientists, many of whom are afraid of being associated with the tobacco industry if they recommend vaping, advise smokers to simply quit smoking. But only around 15% of smokers are able to simply quit. That leads to many smokers “dying and getting sick because of an abundance of caution.”

One statement that frustrates Giovanni is the claim that we don’t know how vaping affects people in the long term. In the early days of vaping this was true, and we needed time to find vapers who hadn’t smoked before, and to track the impact of vaping on them over the years.

Fortunately, thanks to efforts that involved recruiting people across different countries, there is now ten year data on people who vape but have never smoked. The research on this cohort shows that vaping is far less likely to cause respiratory disease than smoking."

Study Shows Vaping Far Less Toxic Than Smoking | Ashtray Blog

So we now see long term {10 year} studies are now available
- And the truth about vaping holds - It is less toxic and probably much safer
than lit tobacco. And of course you can vape with 0mg nicotine and no tobacco at all
- Not possible with any cigarette!

In search of 22mm vv/vw tube mod

Hello ECF, I'm look for a pocket friendly tube mod:
1, 22 or 23mm; single 18650/350;
2, No use for TC mode.
3, I'm a MTLer; 20w/10amp output is sufficient.

Right now I'm checking Digiflavor S Tube. People rarely talked about it, so I am not sure.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

GEEKVAPE S-100 ( SOLO 2 ) KIT REVIEWED BY BIGBOB2322

Hello friends and welcome back for today's review of the Geekvape S-100 ( Solo 2 ) Kit that was provided to me from Sourcemore, this kit can be purchased from Sourcemore by clicking this link GeekVape S100 Aegis Solo 2 Kit with Z Subohm Tank. The S-100 is a updated version of Geekvape's original Solo that has a IP67 rating making it dustproof, waterproof and shockproof. The new S-100 has a higher rating of IP68 making it even stronger than the original Solo which happens to be my work mod. I can attest to the durability and strength of the original Solo as you will see later in a photo, it's had many years of abuse but still works like day one. What new features are in the S-100 and how well does the Z Subohm 2021 Tank perform, after looking at some info on the kit I will discuss all the pros and cons of it.

UNBOXING AND FIRST IMPRESSIONS

My first impression was that it's definitely a Aegis but with most of the silicone rubber material removed that used to encase the entire device on the original Solo, there is still some silicone rubber for protection and strength but only at the base and top of the device.

The skeleton of the older Solo also remains on the new version but with a switch located on one side that when slid down locks all buttons, the new A-Lock switch is a great feature when it's time to pocket the device, this is such a convenient time saving feature.

The other side of the S-100's skeleton has GEEKVAPE embossed across it. The leather spine has also remained on the Solo 2 but with more of a cushioned softer feel to it, 3 horizontal stitches run across at the top between 2 rows of vertical stitching running from top to bottom..

The tank that's included is the Geekvape Z Sub Ohm 2021 version Tank. This Tank has the hand clenching a lightning bolt printed on the barrel chamber that we are familiar with on Geekvape Tanks.

Included in the box are a spares bag, charge cord, user manual, extra 5.5ml bubble tank, coil removal assist tool, warning card, warranty card and 2nd coil that is a KA 0.25Ω dual mesh rated for 45-57w, pre-installed in the tank is a KA 0.2Ω single mesh coil rated for 70-80w.

20220121_125308.jpg

Back in May of 2021 I reviewed the Legend 2 from Geekvape that also had the Z 2021 Sub-Ohm Tank included with it so I'm not going to elaborate much on it but I will say it's a great Sub Tank that is top air with great flavor from the Z coils of which all can be used in this tank. I'll leave a link if you wish to check out the Legend 2 review with the same tank.
GEEKVAPE AEGIS LEGEND 2 KIT REVIEWED BY BIGBOB2322

GeekvapeAegisLegend2kit-_15.jpg

Some of you might not know what the coil removal assist tool is so I'll include a picture, if you have manual dexterity issues this tool is there to help in removing a coil. The tank breaks down for cleaning into 6 parts including the drip tip.

9739846-5.jpg

20210511_142200-jpg.941921

Starting at the top plate I will tell you up to a 24mm atomizer fits without any overhang, all atomizers I tried on the S-100 sat flush without any gap, the spring-loaded 510 has a very generous travel throw to it.

20220121_144007.jpg

The silicone rubber with the lightning bolt pictured in the above picture is also where the hidden Type-C charge port is located. This is a big improvement from the original Solo that I always have to dig into to expose the charge port if I forget to install a fresh battery and need to charge, the hidden charge port is so well hidden that if you didn't know it was there you would never spot it because the cover blends in so well with the mod. Opening the cover is much easier as well, all that's needed is a flick upward with your thumb.

20220123_121747.jpg

The battery cover is the same as the original twist off but with much more force needed to open and close, I think Geekvape used beefed up O-Rings on the Solo 2, the opening latch feels stronger as well.

20220122_115139.jpg

Inside the battery tube a Red + symbol can be easily seen showing correct battery placement, the battery door cap also shows correct polarity placement with a - symbol.

20220123_120212.jpg

20220123_120506.jpg

I'm sure that you will agree with me on just how attractive the new Solo 2 looks, I really love the brushed metal, to me it gives the mod a much more high end look.

The A-Lock switch pictured here is such a great new feature that I wish every device had, just a stroke down with you thumb locks the entire device from operating, perfect for pocket carry. Putting it back into operation is just as easy with a stroke upward on the switch. I feel the switch has just the right amount of resistance to it (not to hard or easy to move).

20220129_082745.jpg

As I mentioned earlier the spine now has some cushion to it and the 3 white accent stiches bring a classy look to it as well. I think the new S-100 (SOLO 2) is such a major improvement over the original and I haven't even started talking about the new AI yet.

20220123_123621.jpg

Before we go any further I would like to show you a comparison of the new S-100 (Solo 2) and my original Solo that I use every day and have used since 2019. I'm in the construction trade and need a device that is able to take abuse over and over again and the Solo has been a true workhorse, I can't even count how many times this device has been dropped from my truck, docks or skidded across the street, of course the tanks that were on it broke but the solo still works like day 1.

The paint is almost gone from the skeleton and buttons and the display screen has some scuffs on it but it's working like new. With the new Solo 2 I think Geekvape wanted to keep the basic look of the device but give it a more refined appearance.

I know the S-100 has a new rating of IP68 that allows it to be submerged in at least 3 feet of water but without being encased in silicone rubber as the original is I don't think it could take the punishment that the original Solo can, remember there are only 2 spots of silicone rubber on the S-100 (Top and Bottom). The charge port cover is off on the original Solo.

20220122_114359.jpg

The A-Lock switch was a new feature that was introduced on the Legend 2 and I'm so glad Geekvape included it on the S-100 along with the UI of the Legend 2.

USING THE S-100 Kit

The upgrades on the new Solo 2 are fantastic as well as the new look of it, I still plan on using my original though as the Solo 2 is too beautiful of a device to be used as a beater mod.

The A-Lock should be on every full sized device Geekvape makes from now on as it's such a nice feature.

Both coils that were provided gave great flavor with the dual being my favorite of the 2.

The kit is a very nice one and I would recommend it 100% Being a wattage only vaper I can't comment on the TC modes but you do have manual TCR to dial in your own preferences.

I would like to thank Sourcemore and Joyi once again for providing the S-100 (SOLO 2) Kit for the purpose of this review.

THANK YOU

Aegis Boost Pro B100 Settings Help

Can anyone help explain some of the more intricate settings on the boost pro?
Few examples:
1) in power mode you can change something with the ohm if you press +/-. Looks like an envelope or maybe a lock?
2) in TC-TCR mode, what is the T setting? I would assume temperature...but the main adjustment is temp...so why have two? Is the second maybe a max temp or something? (Just checked and it actually goes up to 5000...so doubt it's temp lol)
Would love to use this device to it's max potential, but manual was a joke, and review videos always skip over these features.

Aspire-Flexus-Q-Fast-Charge-3-A-Kit-6.jpg

► Aspire Flexus Q; First impressions:
The figure that immediately leaps to the eye is that of the 0-80% recharge in less than 10 minutes ... Flexus Q is in fact the first all-in-one device from Aspire to have 3A recharge, really not bad seen also the good battery capacity (700mAh) which are not few for the kind of device.
The first tactile and visual impressions are very good, the Flexus Q has a well finished classic design and a solid ergonomic metal body with all the comforts of a decidedly above average entry level kit. They are in fact present; 3 selectable power levels, a precise adjustable AFC, two spare replaceable Mesh Coils of the AF series rather flexible in their use and the double power supply mode.

Aspire-Flexus-Q-Fast-Charge-3-A-Kit-7.jpg

► Aspire Flexus Q; Panels:
For this test I received the Black version from Aspire with real carbon fiber decoration on one side. The part decorated with the fiber has a very fine texture that is perceptible to the touch, the decoration bears the inscription "Flexus Q" in silver in the center.

The other panel is the "operational" one on which there is a large fire button made of metal and oval in shape. At the bottom we find the silver writing "Aspire".

Aspire-Flexus-Q-Fast-Charge-3-A-Kit-8.jpg

Under the Fire button there is a multifunction LED that interfaces with the user providing the following information on the operating status ...

► Aspire Flexus Q; Led status and details:
• Connect / disconnect the pod: The Led light blinks white 1 time
• Power On / Off: Press the Fire button 5 times within 2s. The LED light flashes white 3 times
• Battery level 3.5V (0-30%) Red LED on
• Battery level = 3.5V-3.8V (30-60%) LED lit red and blue
• Battery level 3.8V-4.2V (60-100%) LED lit red and green
• Power level adjustment: Press the Fire button 3 times; Low level: Led light flashes red 2 times, Intermediate level: Led light flashes blue 2 times, High level: Led light flashes green 2 times
• Full Charging: The LED light blinks green 20 times
• Connecting the USB cable: The LED light flashes red 3 times
• Disconnecting the USB cable: The LED light flashes green 3 times

Aspire-Flexus-Q-Fast-Charge-3-A-Kit-9.jpg

Flexus Q incorporates Aspire's ASP chipset which includes important security functions like all other Aspire devices ...

► Aspire Flexus Q; Protection functions:
• Cut-Off Protection (6s) The LED light flashes red and blue 10 times
• Short circuit protection The LED light flashes red and blue 3 times
• Low voltage protection The LED light blinks red 15 times
• Overload Protection The device will stop charging
• Overheat protection The LED indicator will stay yellow for 3 seconds and then the device will turn off
• Over voltage protection When charging is abnormal, the device will stop charging and vaping is not allowed.

Aspire-Flexus-Q-Fast-Charge-3-A-Kit-10.jpg

► Aspire Flexus Q; Adjustable AFC:
The "aerodynamic" design of Flexus Q on the narrow sides is rather sober and devoid of appendages, (with an exception) for the AFC slider system that protrudes slightly from the body. The AFC button is solid and well crafted; by sliding it downwards, it opposes the right force of contrast to the movement and regulates the slot for the passage of air towards the coil in an effective way. Aspire proudly declares that it has designed an AFC system capable of fully satisfying the user in vaping modes ranging from Restricted-MTL to RDL.

Aspire-Flexus-Q-Fast-Charge-3-A-Kit-11.jpg

Aspire-Flexus-Q-Fast-Charge-3-A-Kit-12.jpg

► Aspire Flexus Q; Top and bottom view:
The pod compartment of Flexus Q is free of magnets and holds the cartridge with a rather tenacious interlocking system. At the bottom of the compartment / pod are the gold-plated contact pins and the automatic puff sensor.

Aspire-Flexus-Q-Fast-Charge-3-A-Kit-13.jpg

► Aspire Flexus Q; Fast Charge:
Flexus Q thanks to the charging port of Type-C 5V / 3A declares a speed higher than 300% compared to the competition, in practice with very minimal and negligible downtime. The data declared by Aspire (0-80% in less than 10 minutes) is absolutely true. The 700mAh battery offers excellent power management.

Aspire-Flexus-Q-Fast-Charge-3-A-Kit-14.jpg

► Aspire Flexus Q; Refillable Pod:
The 2ml capacity cartridge is made of dark-colored PCTG and includes an unspecified anti-leak mechanism that prevents not only the escape of liquid, but also the formation of condensation generated during the vape. The shape of the cartridge is ergonomic for the lips, furthermore the large transparent surface allows excellent visual control of the internal liquid level. The refill is of the lateral type with safety rubber and press-and-pull system for the AF coils.

Aspire-Flexus-Q-Fast-Charge-3-A-Kit-15.jpg

A pleasant surprise during the test was my first encounter with the type of Mesh-Coil AF of replaceable. The two vertically developing Coils present in the package use first choice organic cotton and allow, through the adjustable AFC and the 3 selectable power levels, to set your favorite MTL puff with worthy flexibility.

• Mesh Coil AF 0,6Ω range 15-18W:
Good aromatic yield as one would expect from a higher level replaceable Mesh-coil, such as those used on tanks and comparable to the excellent AVP always from Aspire. Surely between the two coils this is my favorite given and considering my vocation towards a type of puff that is not too restricted. However, this coil allows a good MTL use even by choking the air and up to an "almost" RDL by increasing the air passage. With AFC open, steam production is quite abundant. The steam never overheats the tongue too much, even with the AFC closed and regardless of the power level chosen. The puff therefore, even with AFC wide open, is not excessively open but always fluid and silent, moreover it does not show tendencies of supercharging and spitting. Good responsiveness of the chipset, either using the fire button or the automatic mode. The consumption of liquid with a battery charge cycle is between 5 and 6ml.

• Mesh Coil AF 1.0Ω range 12-15W:
Certainly for restricted-MTL "extremists" this resistance will meet expectations, as its operation in combination with a fine adjustment of the AFC results in an almost strangled Puff. The other users, with medium AFC openings, can still count on a more fluid and balanced puff. By setting the average power level (Blue Led) with AFC open about 1/3, the puff is also in this case soft but with a "fresher" tone compared to the 0.6Ω and with a production of steam logically slightly lower than the previous coil sub-ohm, but still satisfying and in tune with the MTL vape mode. The fluid consumption with a battery charge life cycle was around 6ml, so many will be able to use Flexus Q for a full day before recharging the battery.

Thanks to Aspire for sending me the sample for review.

Vape pods with the best flavor coils

Just getting back into vaping. Coming from a horizontech falcon tank and a drop RDA. So flavor is important

Walked into the vape shop after a few years, and realized everything was pod systems now.

I picked up a caliburn G based off the reviews. And vaping that with a juice head 25 mg salt was insanely impressive flavor for how small the coil is..

Bought a geek vape aegis hero with the boost coils... Extremely unimpressive...

So at this point , Uwell seems to have some amazing small coils.

What pod pod/mod should I get that has amazing coils for flavor?

Unboxing and first impressions:

-Once you open the box you are presented with everything neatly presented for you to see.
The mod comes with the RBA already installed and also includes the boro for the drop in coils, once you life the top part you have the rest of the contents laying on the bottom of the box.

It is not a metal mod...and knowing that it was is made of PC or ABS nylon i am unsure on how it will feel in my hands.
Yes this is not a Billet Box made of T6 Aluminum but it doesn't feel bad,you don't get that ''cheapo'' feeling that you usually get when plastic is involved.

Fits nicely in the hand and it seems to be all assembled correctly, doors fit perfectly and there is no rattle.

Vaping time:

So to start with i decided to start with the boro for the drop in coils.
Used the coil that was already installed (VVC-30 03ohms/30-45w),refilling was a breeze although i still don't like the rubber tab as a filling method.
Let the coil sit for 15 minutes and then started vaping with a lower than recommended wattage to just break in the coil.

Nice airflow...decent hit and and a good cloud.
Fire button response is quick and it delivers good flavor.

To be honest i am not a fan of these coils so just used this one for half a day before i decided to give the RBA a try.

Went over to my friends vape shop since he was curious and wanted to see the Pulse AIO in person,he also wanted to gift me a nice coil to try out the RBA.

He had a nice 0,13 (in double,26/27 single) full N80 in a 2,5mm size ready to pop in the RBA and start vaping.

Setting up the coil is easy, same goes for wicking and getting it ready for vaping but...you have to make sure you don't fill up the Boro tank before putting it in the mod.
Let me explain once you put the base into the top you realize there is no click,it is not snug...
it is actually pretty loose so filling the tank while outside of the Pulse AIO is not really a smart thing to do since it can easily open up and you will get your mod and hands filled with e-liquid.
Not a big deal thou, just prime the cotton...fire it up and then place the base in the top part and put it in the Pulse AIO,once it's screwed in you can proceed to fill the boro.

As with all my reviews i stick with the same e-liquid and nic (Shiva aroma,70VG/30PG and 3mg nic),this way i can tell the difference when using different devices.

As per usual i started at low wattage just to get a feeling of the type of vape i would get and slowly going up until i got to my sweet spot.
Started at 30w and slowly went up all the way to 50w,bit higher than my usual but that is where it felt right.

Solid vape, flavorful and compact...a bit on the restricted side which is my preference.
Not into really airy vapes nor very hot ones,i was pleasantly surprised that it just felt right.

This is my first Billet Box type device so i was looking forward to writing this review since the aesthetics of the device really appeased to me,just a small rectangular box with a little protruding drip tip.

Now what i am about to say is just my personal preference when using a vaping device.
I like simple,i want an easy way to refill the tank and i don't want it overly complicated, some people do like these sort of devices since they enjoy fiddling around with them but that is just not me.

It is not overly complicated, heck i never used a BB type device before and i got it up and running in no time but a couple of details just prevent me from using the Pulse AIO as my main vaping device.

-First of all i am a lefty and these type of devices seem to have been designed for right handed users.
Tried all sort of ways of holding the mod so i wouldn't cover the airflow holes but no dice, not saying i couldn't use because if i held it without touching the palm of my hand i wouldn't cover the airlflow holes but it doesn't feel right...just plain awkward.

-Second,not a fan of the rubbery tabs,i just don't like them...this is just a personal thing but give me an easy screw top cap on a RTA and i am one happy camper.

Pros:

-Highly adaptable to your vaping needs, either drop in coil or just use the RBA with your favorite coil
-Despite being made of PC or ABS nylon it doesn't feel cheap,it is well made and everything fits and snaps together neatly
-Plenty of options to customize the Pulse AIO,from panels to the firing button you can go crazy with color combinations.
-Good performance from the RBA
-Easy to set up the coil and wick the RBA
-21700 Battery (can use 18650 with the adapter that is provided in the box)

Cons:

-Only real con i can think of is the way the RBA base and top fit together, should be a nice tight and snug fit...it is a bit loose and will get your mod and hands filled with e-liquid if you don't remember that you should fill it once it is inside the Pulse AIO and not before.

Would i recommend this device:

This device appeals to in my humble opinion to 2 type of vapers:

The ones that want to get started in the BB world will be smart and start with the Pulse AIO.
It is a affordable well made device that will make it easy to get started in this type of vaping.

Other type of vapers that are already using BB products will also enjoy this since they will be able to have a device they can take out for a night in town and not be afraid to lose it since the cost is lower than the other models in the market.
On top of that plenty of their BB accessories will be usable with the Pulse AIO so it's a win win.

As usual here you have a code in case you decide to acquire this kit:
