I have a Zeus sub ohm tank that I’ve been using for about 2 years, and love it. Coils last around 2 weeks of heavy vaping, flavor is decent, it absolutely never leaks, and it’s pretty quiet.

I had wanted a different tank with better flavor, and picked up the falcon, but after about 6 months, I got really fed up with how often it leaked. So I tried the Sakerz, hearing that it was really close to the falcon, but had top fill. That was enough to sell me.
Unfortunately, they didn’t put enough thought into the coil design, because the slots in the coils are really high up in the tank, and for a 5ml tank, you can only vape about 2ml before you’re below the minimum, and need to refill.

Long story for this… but I decided to just pick up another Zeus. The flavor took a hit, but I’ll accept that for consistency and no leaking.

Maybe it’s the 2022 version, or maybe it’s just shoddy Q/C, but this tank constantly says there’s a short. I found an article saying to unscrew the base slightly, until the warning stops. This seemed to work for about 2 weeks, but now, it’s giving me that error until the tank is so far unscrewed that a tiny twist says there’s no atomizer at all.

Has anyone else had this problem with the 2022 Zeus?

Also, maybe related, the coils recently have only lasted a few days, instead of a few weeks

Dragbar 600S is a compact device entirely made of plastic material with a shape rather similar to that of a small cigar, in short, the simplest one that can exist on the face of the earth to offer the user an immediate and uncomplicated Vaping solution.
Inside the Dragbar there is the GENE TREE by VooPoo ceramic core technology, a 500mAh battery and 2ml of pre-loaded e-liquid. Zovoo claims that with Dragbar 600S it is able to reach 600 Puffs before its disposal, and this is a figure that could be very interesting when related to a low purchase price. The device is therefore very compact and does not need to be refilled with liquid, but since Dragbar cannot be opened, how could it be disposed of? It is plastic, you will say, it is partly true, because inside there is still a battery, a resistance and a ceramic core, albeit reduced.



The body of Dragbar 600S is divided into two colors, the upper part takes on a color related to the "flavor" it contains, while the lower part is white / transparent to allow choreographic lighting by the countless LED lights that accompany each puff. The fixed "drip tip" looks like a whistle and in its simple form it is effective and ergonomic for the lips. On the bottom of Dragbar 600S there are 5 holes for the passage of air towards the coil.

Some flavors have been sent to me including; Banana Ice, Lush Ice, Strawberry Ice, Peach Ice and Grape Ice. All flavors are pre-loaded with 20mg of nic salts and all have in common an "icy" part and therefore mentholated. I was expecting a strong mint explosion, im not a real mint fan! Fortunately, the predominant part is certainly the juicy fruit, while the mentholated part is perfectly mixed and non-invasive, indeed certainly pleasant to increase the blow in the throat to the right extent while also refreshing the flavor of the e-liquid. All the flavors are really concentrated and realistic, I would define them as really greedy and very sweet like a real fruit juice with ice to drink in the neighborhood bar. The RDL type Puff goes well with these excellent fruity flavors because it offers a good airiness that allows the production of rather abundant and dense clouds of vapor, the Puff is at the same time slightly restricted to successfully amplify the "hit in the throat" effect "thanks to the nic and the mentholated part present in the liquid.

Despite the high boost (20 / mg), together with my wife we literally devoured each of these vaporizers both in an uncontrolled frenzy, we ran out of all 6 within a few days! I must say that their functioning was flawless, with a very fluid and silent inhalation, truly irresistible to us. I would never have believed that such a device could be so satisfying, and now that we have disposed of them all, we are left like children without candy and in full withdrawal! We really think about buying more, because they are very good, they weigh very little and are ideal to slip into any pocket. Take a look at Dragbar and its line of devices ranging from 600 to 5,000 Puffs, try them, you won't regret it.

Do you have any experience with a dual battery, 21700, USB C mod? I've love to hear it.

I've been vaping since 2007 when cigalikes were the only game in town. During that time I owned a lot of Smok mods and tanks. I was disappointed every time.

Since those dark days of buying Smok products, I have experience with around 20 different high end RTA's and countless mods.

About six months ago I was in a bind and needed a mod ASAP. My only option was a local shop that (to my horror) only carries Smok products. I did my best to pick what in my mind would be the best of the worst. I went home with a Morph 2 kit. The kit came with a TFV18 tank.

Unfortunately, the Morph couldn't drive the coil setup that was installed on my daily driver RTA. I had been without a vape for a while so I filled the TFV18 that came in the kit and hoped for the best. I was amazed. Ultra open draw and great vapor production. I blew clouds. I can't speak to flavor production as I only vape menthol but given the design I think it should be good.

I'm hard on mods. I drop them a lot, like a couple times a week, more or less always on cement, pavement, or wood floors. Not a lot of carpet in my habitat. Every mod I've ever owned has died from a drop or a worn out 510. Mostly it's drops.

Fast forward six months and many drops later.

My Morph 2 looks and works like it just came out of the box. The fact that any mod did this amazes me. Even more amazing is that it's a Smok.

The mod charges fast and does a good job of balancing the cells. It has USB Type C. It's my first mod to have that and I won't go back. It's sad so many recent releases still use Micro USB.

I've owned a bunch of Smok tanks over the years and they were "ok" at best for their time performance-wise. Durability was a joke. The hinge on the fill lid would loosen. Or the gasket would wear out. Or the gasket would get chewed up by the lid. They leaked. Coils didn't last worth a damn.

I've run two tanks a day through my TFV18 since I bought the thing. Performance has been so good I never bothered to recoil my daily driver RTA. Out of box performance was phenomenal and it has maintained that performance over all this time on that one original coil. The lid hinge hasn't worn out. The lid gasket still seals. The tank is 100% leak free even when I lay the mod sideways for hours. Keep in mind all of those drops included the tank. One drop broke the tank glass but the kit came with a replacement.

This whole experience is so counter to my expectations of Smok products I had to post about it. But not everything is a surprise...

The mod sometimes goes bananas when you vape while charging. You need to pop the batteries to make it sane again.

It mysteriously doesn't like some types of coils. I would say exotic coils but how exotic is twisted double strand 24 gauge stainless wire? It seems to read the resistance as wildly different from one minute to the next constantly asking if it's a new coil. There's no way to lock resistance either. Huge PITA but is doesn't happen with the TFV18.

Temperature control doesn't work worth a damn.

The mod chipset doesn't handle a wide range of coil resistances. Again, not a problem with the TFV18 installed.

Overall, I would not buy this mod for use with other RTA's but paired with the TFV18 it's kind of amazing. It performs well and the durability is phenomenal. The combo is so good I plan to buy a stash of coils and replacement glass and see how long it holds out. It'll make a great fallback setup.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS


The first to catch my eye was the mod of course, it is keeping the same type of styling that the newer Aegis mods have with a slight difference in the skeletons shape having more 90° angles on it. Along with the difference of the skeleton's shape is the leather, instead of having one leather texture covering the spine as all the Aegis mods do the Max 100 has 2 types of leather texture that draw your eye right to the spine.

The top and bottom portions leather is a very smooth and soft type with double stitching separating both from the middle portion that is more grainy and rough with a accent of 3 horizontal bars in the center. I like the leather to be soft and have some cushiony give to it when used on a mod and the Max 100 has it. The new look of this mod is a appealing and having a slightly brushed metal look pulls it all together.

The Z Sub Ohm 2021 tank included is a nice tank that I've covered already in previous reviews, it's nothing extraordinary of innovative but works well as a Sub Ohm Tank and has very good flavor, I like the updated look of the hand catching a lightning bolt better than the older Zeus face on the chimney barrel.

Included are the spare O-rings for the tank, 2nd glass tube, charge cord, user manual, 18650 battery adaptor, 2nd coil ( 0.25Ω ) rated for 45-57w, pre-installed is a 0.2Ω coil rated for70-80w, battery safety card, warranty card and a coil removal assist tool for people with manual dexterity issues.








Z SUB OHM 2021 TANK


I won't go into great detail on the tank as I.ve covered it in past reviews but I will say that it performs very well and being a top air design leaking is almost impossible unless it's laid down for a extended amount of time. This is also top fill with the top cap having a quarter turn opening that I like. When the top cap is off pay special attention to the airflow control selector because it likes to pop off especially when breaking the tank down for cleaning.

I've said it before in past reviews and I'm going to say it again, (ALWAYS) clean any new atomizer you get. The atomizer might look and feel clean but trace amounts of machine oil could be on it and in today's day and age you should be extra diligent starting out with a clean sterile atomizer so break it down and give it a long soak in a container of warm to hot soapy water ( REMOVE THE PRE-INSTALLED COIL FIRST ). Again pay special attention to the airflow control selector so you don't loose it down the drain. Below is the Z Sub Ohm Tank broken down and ready for it's bath.





Starting at the top , I can tell you the spring loaded 510 has a good amount of travel to it and has fit every atomizer I connected with no gap between the top plate and atomizer base. A 26mm atomizer will fit but a 25mm atomizer looks much better coming right to the edge of the rubber covering the top of the Max 100. I know it's just a top plate and really shouldn't get that much attention but Geekvape continued the brushed metal look on it that I really think makes a device more attractive and gives it a upscaled look. Even though the Max 100 has a higher IP68 rating the silicone rubber material that used to cover the original Aegis 100 is only on the top and bottom portion of the device, you can see the lightning bolt on the top portion that hides the Type-C charge port for a very clean appearance.





The USB charge port is hidden under the top rubber covering and also has a plug that protrudes into the port for a watertight seal, just a simple flick up with your thumb pops the cover open. This is a nice almost seamless look being hidden in plain sight.





You have the option of using 3 different types of battery in the Max 100, Geekvape doesn't really promote the use of a 20700 battery in the Max 100 but it does work, your other choices are a 18650 with the supplied adaptor or what the Max 100 was really designed for a single 21700. All three batteries options work fine without any movement or rattle inside the battery tube. The single battery is installed from the bottom as most do by unscrewing a battery cover that has a hinged inner piece that lifts up for unscrewing/screwing the cover. The battery cover seats very well and gives a flush fit with zero wobble standing upright.





Inside the battery tube a positive + symbol in red is clearly visible and the battery cover has a minus - symbol on printed on it. Note the thick O-ring on the cover for a watertight seal.





As I mentioned earlier there are only 2 spots where silicone rubber is used on the Max 100 which is a big departure from the original that was encased in rubber, removing the excess rubber allows for a more stylish look while still being a IP68 rated device. The silicone rubber was a lint magnet on the original and I was always rinsing it off, it's nice not having to do that with the Max 100.

The main body portion of the device that I was sent has a matt solid silver look with the skeleton being shiny with brushed metal. On one side of the Max 100 GEEKVAPE is lightly engraved into the skeleton with screws being recessed into it.





On the other side is the best feature of the Max 100 ( A-LOCK SWITCH ). No longer do you have to press the fire button 5 times to turn the device off instead Geekvape has a switch called the ( A-LOCK ) that will shut all functions down when the switch is in the down position then with the flick of your thumb upward turn everything back on.

The A-Lock switch is really great for pocket carry or in a handbag, mine was not overly hard or very easy to engage, it has just the right amount of resistance to it and is easily found without having to look for it because it protrudes out just enough to feel it. There is a wattage only lock that's been included on the Max 100 that I'll list in the menu operation.





Looking at the face of the Max 100 I noticed a brighter display screen than the S-100 that I reviewed, not a lot brighter but noticeable. The screen has all the information that you need in a nice grid style, fonts are easy to read and of good size.

I really like the Max 100 Kit for many reasons which I've described above in the review, the Z Sub Ohm 2021 Tank is a very good performer that cranks out very good flavor using either coil that's supplied in the kit.

The Max 100 Device is a great single 21700 mod that gives you the option to use 2 other battery types so every vaper should be covered.

The A-Lock switch is a great feature and I'm glad the Max 100 received it, it's on a few other Geekvape devices that I've reviewed and works great. I'm happy that Geekvape included the ability to also lock wattage only without locking the entire device using the A- Lock switch.

Overall I think this is a very good combo of tank and mod and consider the Max 100 Kit to be a winner.

Just a newbie Intro names Tina trying to quit smoking finally 20+ yrs strong & not happy w/all that so I fig what the heck why not try yet another method to quit..only this was diff I have yet to totally quit tho but it's the only promising option I've had in a sea of not successful attempts too many to say but I'm optimistic this might be the one (& that's HUGE considering I'm more a negative Nancy typa chick) so anyhoo ello from the greatest state in the US of A...wait for it....& that would b from Washington State (quit laughing lol but seriously folks it doesn't rain nearly as much as they say we just don't want y'all moving up here n gettin things all crowded. I’m posting this here hoping that more people will see it and hopefully have some more suggestions. I have a brand new Tauren Max rda and I already stripped the hex screw on the deck.

It’s a teeny tiny hex screw that control the ceramic blocks that hold the coil legs.

I’m hoping for more suggestions as to how to get it out. I was planning on replacing them with the flat head hex screws but I wasn’t quick enough! The first time I want to replace the coils and the the screw is all messed up.

If anyone has the tricks to get it out they will be here at ECF where just about every situation has been resolved before!

The image above is the USB 2.0 port. There are two, labeled for a 1Amp output and one labelled for 2.1A output. (I don't know why they went for the 0.1). Either one will work for this.

With your voltage tester, put the black probe on ground, and the red probe on power. I had to use a lighted magnifier to do it and it took a lot of tries. But when the needle on your tester jumps, it's all worth it.

I am using whole tobacco alkaloid 3mg nicotine e juice at the moment and wondered if anyone else does. Also wanted to see if we can continue the discussion.

All I see is it is closed to replies and haven’t found any other recent threads/posts for it.
But I have been vaping nicotine and find it ineffective in quitting cigs. Smoking and vaping felt totally different, nicotine alone (even 3mg per ml juice) gives me quite a bit of anxiety. I tried to increase to 6mg and so on, and the anxiety gets even worse the higher I go. I still vape anyways but hate the anxiety. Cigs don’t give me anxiety, in fact they often calm me while also being stimulating. Many times after a cigarette I have no anxiety left, so it reduces anxiety. Yet vaping literally gives me anxiety. Also I noticed increased depression when trying vape only (due to lack of MAOIs and other tobacco alkaloids) So yeah I knew something was missing/wrong and I researched WTA.
I bought some WTA 3mg liquid a while ago, but am just truly trying them out daily starting today. They aren’t even close to expired and juice taste fine. I am going to try to vape ONLY WTA e liquid stating today, and try not to smoke any cigarettes at all.

Here is what my juice contains:

Nicotine (3mg per ML) , Nornicotine, Anabasine, Anatabine

Unfortunately I cannot find any liquid that contains harman and norharman, which are known to be sufficiently potent MAO inhibitors. I believe those are the only two things missing to make this nicotine juice work perfectly to get me fully off cigarettes.
Does anyone know if Nornicotine, Anabasine, Anatabine has MAO inhibitor actions? Google doesn’t seem to help. I read a couple of patents (or applied for patents) that mention them working as MAO inhibitors, but that’s all. I can add link later if anyone interested.
I would post more details but want to make sure it’s okay to continue that old topic first so I don’t waste anymore time typing lol.

I could go on and on with the links and sources, as the evidence is overwhelming. Does this mean everyone who smokes cigs becomes dependent on the MAO inhibition of cigarettes? No. Everyone’s brain chemistry is unique. For most simply replacing the nicotine is enough. However for some simply replacing the nicotine alone it is not enough (need the MAOIS and other alkaloids), and the links above explain why.

► Hellvape Dead Rabbit 3 RTA; First impressions:
Dead Rabbit V3 RTA is a 25mm diameter TOP AFC, it is a product intended for RDL / DL use and is easily regenerable even by less experienced vaper's who do not want to go crazy with perfect backcombing and who do not want e-liquid leaks. V3 RTA can be set up in dual coil but also in single-coil and is made of resistant stainless steel. It is supplied by Hellvape in a range of eight different colors. The two specimens I got for this test are; Matte Black with silver decorations on the bell, and Matte Full Black with black and much less conspicuous decorations on the bell. Both appear beautifully painted and could by themselves and with the addition of the SS version please the tastes of any vaper's.

Of course, when you choose to use a double coil RTA it is important to combine it with dual battery MOD or single cell 21700 that are able to push it to high power and that provide the user with a good reserve of energy. However I will not go very high with the power, so I find that Dead Rabbit V3 RTA goes very well with simple and handy Mod 21700. In the image below you can see Dead Rabbit V3 RTA with straight glass (3.5ml) and with domed glass (5.5ml) installed on two fantastic Hellvape AREZ 120 Mods.



The Dead Rabbit RTA has reached the third version with the aim of providing the end user with an ever better product. In previous versions of Dead Rabbit RTA we can talk about refinements and small improvements between the first RTA V1 and the second RTA V2, in this third RTA V3 we find a postless deck with a tour-air from top to bottom completely redesigned to research of the perfect flavor.

In the image below we can substantially see the progress between the V1 and V2 Decks which consists of a better arrangement of the turrets to simplify the cutting of the legs and the presence in the deck on the second version of two raised bulkheads to contain the cotton and to direct it better inside the draft slots. This V3 version introduces a very different Postless type Deck which has the particularity of having two raised bulkheads with honeycomb holes to direct the air flow laterally and broadly towards the coils, the suction slots of the liquid are now of the open type, to hold the cotton there are 4 small vertical pillows (two for each buttonhole) with a "c" design. To cut the V3 RTA legs, you can rely on the special misuration-tool included in the package.



In the image below you can see the different internal design of the 3 bells; V1 RTA only had two rather large slots to direct the flow towards the coils but in a limited way, in V2 RTA a honeycomb system was introduced inside the bell composed of two opposing rows each with 18 holes that were in able to better wrap the resistances with the flow of air. V3 RTA has no holes inside the bell and completely distorts the air flow through two bulkheads that compress and channel the flow from top to bottom and then make it rise right under the coils. The air flow goes up towards the coils and is amplified by the 4 holes and the three slots on the postless deck, furthermore, to better embrace the coils laterally, V3 rely on the two raised bulkheads with honeycomb holes which I mentioned in previously and that you can see in the image above.



► Hellvape Dead Rabbit 3 RTA; AFC System:
In the image below, you can see the depiction of the path of the air towards the coils and which I have already talked about. According to Hellvape technicians, the distribution of the air flow around the coils is maximized and for this reason the best performance is achieved in terms of flavor.



The external regulation of the air flow takes place through a Ring AFC equipped with two opposing rows each with 7 diagonal slots, the ring is equipped with rotation stops and appears precise and well braked during the adjustment, it also allows a large passage of air for deep DL aspirations but also offers good flow restriction for RDL.

V3 RTA is completely removable for cleaning and consists of; Replaceable Drip Tip 810, a 1/4 turn quick opening top cap, an AFC ring with vertical grooves, a one-piece structure (bell), a straight glass tube replaceable with the supplied bubble tank, and a Postless deck with adjustable pin.



In this picture you can see the main structure of V3 on the outside; the two slots for e-liquid refueling are large and comfortable, on the side at the top there are two large slots for the passage of air that will be covered by the AFC adjustment ring, the decorations include the stylized dead rabbit and the writing " Dead Rabbit V3 RTA ".



In this picture you can see the postless deck of V3 and in particular; the side screws for fixing the coils, the raised walls with honeycomb design for the air flow around the coils and the lower part of the deck with the adjustable and gold-plated 510 pin.



► Hellvape Dead Rabbit 3 RTA; Build:
After turning the RTA and taking out the deck, you need to take; a wire cutter, the flat screwdriver, the coil tool, the two 0.37Ω Clapton Coil resistors in Ni80 and get you ready for the build operations.



After cutting the legs of the coils to a length of 5mm and inserting them in the appropriate holes on the postless-deck, you have to do this procedure; tighten the screws, straighten the coils, activate the coils to remove any hot-spots, then you can get ready to insert the cotton laces present in the package.



After installing the coils and inserting the cotton whiskers into the coils and the ends into the slots, you have to do this procedure; moisten the cotton with the liquid, reposition the deck, open the top cap with a quarter turn, fill the tank with the liquid, reposition the top cap, adjust the AFC ring according to your needs . Then you can quickly start to create big clouds.



► Hellvape Dead Rabbit 3 RTA; Vaping test and final conclusions:
I am a great admirer of the Hellvape brand because in my opinion it has always built the best low-cost RTA and RDA atomizers. So I'm not surprised that even with Dead Rabbit V3 RTA, the construction materials, the precision of the assemblies and the finishes are all Top aspects. Furthermore, I find the product aesthetically apcativating both using the straight glass (3.5ml) and the 5.5ml convex glass. So I just have to describe my vaping experience with V3.

When it comes to regenerable atomizers I always want to test the original spare part's first and any coils supplied, because I believe that this can better make both the reviewer and the reader understand the constructive concept that underlies a new product.

I then immediately installed on Dead Rabbit 3 RTA the two 0.37Ω Clapton Coil by Hellvape made of Ni80 and the cotton laces presents in the package. The resistive value of the coils shown on the bag is 0.37Ω for each one, in fact, once the build operation is completed, the indicated resistive value is 0.18Ω. I then positioned myself with Arez Mod at 60W and started my test. The "Red-Mix" ripe red fruit liquid I used is one of my favorites, the base is VG / PG 70-30 with 2mg / ml of boost added.

If I were not aware of the fact that I am in front of an Top air-flow Tank, I would surely have believed I was using a simple RTA Bottom air-flow! The puff of V3 is direct and compact towards the lungs, the perception of the boost concentration present in the liquid is very emphasized compared to other Atom DLs that I have used. The high yield also significantly affects the perception of flavor which is very rich and concentrated. The amount of steam emitted is satisfactory, but more than anything else it is the aspirated flow which seems particularly profitable and not very dispersive even with the AFC fully open. Closing the AFC the hit in the throat skyrockets and the heat of the steam increases, lowering the power (W) things are balanced again, I think this is an indication of excellent overall performance. The suction noise with a deep and calm tone is never annoying, in fact the pops of the coils are heard more than the suction.

Ultimately the airflow from top to bottom is managed beautifully through the tricks we saw during the review and this makes the Hellvape tank an excellent atomizer with an equal or better performance than the classic RTAs with AFC positioned in low. Owning a tank with AFC placed at the top also means completely eliminating the unpleasant e-liquid losses, making life easy even for new vapers who do not have to go crazy to refine their manual skills in cotton processing. In addition, the postless deck makes the Dead Rabbit V3 a really simple RTA on which to place two coils. So as for the regenerable tanks for RDL / DL if you want to try something powerful, simple to regenerate and reliable, this DR V3 RTA is for you, take it!

Bought and received 60W BB and accessories all in great shape.

I'm trying to use my old iStick 50w with my Valyrian II. But as soon as I screw in the Valyrian, my iStick instantly changes to 20w. Does anyone know why? Typically I don't go above 15w with my Voopoo tank. And when I'm priming a new coil, I usually start around 6w and build up to 15w. I don't want to kill a new coil by hitting it with 20w, but the iStick won't let me go any lower while the Valyrian is attached. Any thoughts?

So apparently Valyrian tanks should run around 90w? And using only 20w will feel like hitting a Voopoo tank at 6w.. I'm steadily increasing the watts and it's hitting great
