VAPORESSO GEN 80S AND GEN 200 COMBO review by hittman

Hi folks. I’m back today with another review for Vaporesso. I’m going to attempt to cover both the Gen 200 and the Gen 80S in one review since in my opinion they are similar and from the same series of devices. The 200 is a dual 18650 mod with an output range of 5-220 watts while the 80S uses a single 18650 battery and has an output range of 5-80 watts. Both mods use the Axon chipset and have a very user friendly menu system that I believe is the same as previous Vaporesso mods that I have reviewed in the past. Both kits come with the iTank but the 200 comes with the bubble glass installed to provide a capacity of 8ml while the iTank that comes with the 80S has a straight glass and has a capacity of 5ml which is still pretty respectable. I’ve been a longtime fan of Vaporesso hardware and look forward to sharing my thoughts and experience using these two kits.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:
The packaging for Vaporesso products is usually nice anyway but I was pleasantly surprised to receive both kits in the packaging with the new logo already. Yes, in case you didn’t know, Vaporesso has changed their logo. In the interest of conserving image space, I have combined the front of one box with the back of the other. On the front of each package is a color picture of the device inside with the name of the model in shiny silver text.
On the back of each box is a list of specifications along with a list of the contents. Once the outer shell is slid off then on top is the large pouch with user manual and underneath is the mod, tank with .2 ohm coil installed, spare .4 ohm coil, spare glass and o rings, USB-C charging cable all in a plastic molded insert.
One of the first things I noticed is how small and lightweight both of the mods are. Especially lightweight is the Gen 80S. I was amazed after installing a battery and filling the tank that it still felt like I was picking up almost nothing. The Gen 200 is also very lightweight at 40% lighter than the previous version and is quite a bit shorter than the original Gen mod.
I personally never had an issue with the 510 connector on previous versions of the Gen mods and have reviewed the Gen, Gen S, and Gen X. However, one of the features of these new Gen mods is that they have gone with fairly large torx head screws that secure the 510 plate to the top of the mod.
I like that the branding on both of the mods is very inconspicuous. The 200 has the Vaporesso name in the same color as the body on the front and has the new logo on the back. The 80S has the Vaporesso name on one side and the logo on the other side since it is thin enough that there really isn’t room for branding on the front. The name of each mod is on the bottom.
The displays and the button operation are the same for both despite the difference in output levels between them since they both use the Axon chipset. I’ve become very familiar with the Axon chipset after testing several different Vaporesso mods that use it.
The displays show the following information.
- Set output with a small w underneath since the picture was taken in F(t) mode
- Coil resistance and voltage output while firing
- Puff counter and length of time of current puff
- Output mode
One of my favorite things about the Vaporesso mods that use this chipset is that there is a third button besides the + and – buttons which is used to access the menu. Each mode of operation is displayed in a different color. The F(t) mode is yellow, Pulse is red, VW is blue, DIY mode is also blue. The button operation is as follows.
- Press the fire button 5X to turn the mod on/off
- Press the fire button 3X to lock the adjustment buttons
- Press the center menu button and hold until the mode flashes and you can quickly change the mode using the + and – buttons.
- Press the menu button 3X to access the menu. The options available inside the menu are as follows
- F(t) Mode
- Pulse mode
- VWN mode
- DIY mode
- System Set
- Exit
Some people don’t seem to notice much of a difference between the F(t) mode but I do prefer it and can tell the difference. I used to use the Pulse mode before the F(t) was added to the Axon.
Obviously the Gen 200 is a dual 18650 battery unit in order to provide that much output. It’s called a 200 but actually goes up to 220 but I can’t imagine vaping anywhere near that high of a setting. One thing I thought was odd was that the mods do not round robin when you hit the top end of the output so you have to just fast scroll back down once the top limit is reached.
The 200 has a notch on the bottom where you can get a fingernail in to pop the side cover off to load the batteries and it says Axon inside. The 80S is what I would call a C frame where the back comes off and the battery is inserted. It also has a notch cut so you can easily remove the cover and has the Axon name inside. The battery polarity is clearly marked in the black plastic shells that hold the batteries.
I’ve been a big fan of the iTank since I originally tried it when I reviewed the Target 200. The target 200 came with the bubble glass installed on the tank to allow the larger 8ml capacity. The Gen 200 also came in this same configuration while the Gen 80S came with the straight glass for a 5ml capacity like the Target 100 did also. The iTank is the only tank that I’ve bought replacement coils for in quite a long time. To me this speaks to how good it is. Not only is the flavor production very good but the coils seem to last me a long time.
The included coils are the .2 ohm mesh GTi coil rated at 60-75 watts and best at 70 watts and the .4 ohm mesh coil rated at 50-60 watts and best at 55 watts. These coils are a good fit for the Gen 200 but to me they require too much power for the 80S since it is a single 18650 mod and pushing it at 70 watts with the .2 coil will go through a battery pretty quick. I personally didn’t like the .2 ohm coil at 70 watts. I ended up running it at 55 watts with the airflow about 1/3 open. The .4 ohm coil runs very well in my opinion at 48 watts. I’d like to see a couple more coils come out that require less power for the 80S. There has been promised a .5 ohm coil rated at 30-40 watts that would be a better fit for the 80S. If anything, I would have shipped the 80S with two .4 ohm coils instead of including the .2 ohm pre-installed.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
I have very much enjoyed testing the Gen 200 and Gen 80S kits sent to me by Vaporesso. There’s really nothing that I don’t like about these kits. The Axon chip used in both is familiar and one that I like very much. The display is crisp and clear and easy to read in my opinion. The bodies of the mods are covered in four layers that give them a very nice feel in the hand. I have to admit that when I first received the 80S in Sunset Glow that I was like “Oh great, they sent me a pink mod”. However, after using it for some time I really started taking a liking to it which is surprising to me. I would never consider buying a mod with pink on it. If I had ordered one then I would have gotten the navy blue. The silver Gen 200 is a nice neutral color and definitely didn’t have any issue getting used to it. Both mods are extremely lightweight and comfortable to hold and use.
The Gen 200 can allow up to a 28mm tank on top while the 80S will comfortably fit a 24mm tank. To me this is quite acceptable. In my opinion the iTank is a real winner and was very happy that Vaporesso decided to keep use this tank again with these two kits. They have in the past been very good at keeping coils compatible across different devices. The three turbo airflow openings and self-cleaning system make for a really great performing tank. Like I mentioned, I've tested this tank with two prior releases and now these two and have never had any leaking or dry hits. I’ve also been using at least one of the iTanks since I first received the Target 200 so it has gotten a pretty good workout if you are concerned about them lasting long term.
So, I think it’s obvious but would I recommend these kits for you? Of course it’s a definite Yes! I’d like to thank VAPORESSO for sending the new Gen 200 and Gen 80S kits for this review. Time for another review from yours truly,this time i will review the Innokin Kroma 217 Z Force Kit which was sent by my friends over at Sourcemore for the purposes of this review.

With their latest releases Innokin is trying to do their part to help the enviroment and they have been packaging their products in 100% recyclable environmentally sustainable packaging.
This is a good sign that a company actually cares about the world we live in,kudos on that.
As per usual nothing out of place with the packaging for this kit.
Open the box and right there you can see the mod and tank in the top tray,remove those and you will find the rest of the contents on the package neatly organized.
I gotta say one of the main reasons i am reviewing this kit is because of @AngeNZ ,she posts so many pictures of hers i think that may have seeped into my subconscious and that is why i put it in my wishlist of products for review purposes.
The Kroma 217 mod is made out of high grade zinc alloy with the option of 3 different frame color finishe,material of the mod is what keeps the weight down.
Holding it in my hand i get the sensation that a lot of time was put into the design of this mod.
I got the Mariana Blue and the blue isn't overpowering,still a lot of metal to look at and the color palette seems to be in all the right places.
Ergonomically speaking this mod fits like a glove in my big Spanish man hands,i shake the mod a bit and apart from a slight button rattle on the up and down buttons it feels sturdy and strong.
Vaping time:
Ok time to give this kit a try,as always i am using the same e-liquid i use in my daily vape.
70% VG/30% PG,Shiva Aroma at 3mg nic,that is my daily liquid so it seems fair so i can properly compare these coils with my other daily vaping apparatus.
As recommended i always prime the coils with a drop of e-liquid thru the side holes and a slight dab thru the middle.
I am happy this time i got a proper tank,as you all know i am not a fan of the looks or material used on pod like tanks,so this times it's cool to get a full metal tank.
Unscrew the base,plug in the coil and screw the base right on again,easy peasy with no hassle.
Filling type is similar to the Zlide,arrow marks the position where you start pushing from and once pushed back it reveals the filling ports,fill and slide back and you ready to go.
I let the coils sit in for 15 minutes while i was fiddling around with the mod and it's different features.
Full disclosure i am not a fan of battery door like for mods but this one is quite thick which makes it feel more durable than other mods.
Fresh 21700 inside and closed to the lid,at this point i got my test to run to check for the integrity of the battery door.
Place a mouse pad on my desk and i slide the mod along the pad as well as some light taps on the pad just to see what happens.
No red flags here,battery compartment didn't wiggle or open itself,it remained firmly shut during my test.
Basic operations:
Three clicks of the fire button to turn on and off.
Up and down to enter menu mode.
Up and fire gives a puff counter (with the option to reset) and the battery voltage.
Down and fire locks the adjustment buttons.
You have to hold the adjust button before adjusting.
This mod also incorporates the Coil + feature,same one that we saw in the Innokin Sensis.

Full disclosure i did try this for a bit but i am after all really simple vaper,battery in,fill tank and i just want to vape.
Haven't run the proper tests to see if like Innokin claims this feature does actually extend coil life,will leave that to the vapers who are more into the techy techy side of the vaping world.
Ok so the mod is in front of me,after 15 minutes or so i decide to get into it,i put on my favorite Enya song and look at the mod.
I am a bit aprehensive to try it out and let me explain why,i am not an MTL vaper and really haven't tried that many Innokin products since they always seemed to cater to the MTL crowd so i don't really know what to expect.
I started out with the pre installed 0.2ohm ZF,50-80W recommended wattage.
I like to start low then keep on going up by 5 watt increments,started at 30 watts and then kept on going up all the way to 70 when it just got way too hot for me.
After trying out different wattages i settled on 50 watts,still higher than my usual 30 to 33 watts on my usual attys.
Used this coil for 2 days straight then decided to try out the 0.3ohm(30-45W) which i finally left at 33 watts which was the sweet spot for me.
Gotta say Innokin really impressed me with these coils,i got slightly better flavor off the 0.2 ohm coils but to get that flavor i had to use more wattage on them.
I have been really busy lately so i kinda left my usual RTA on the side and just used these coils on a daily basis during this week.
As of today i have had no dry hits when vaping and no leaking whatsoever so kuddon Innokin for a job well done.
PROS:
-The mod fits nicely in my hand,ergonomically speaking it's like this mod was designed for me.
-Quality build
-No leaking
-Good performance from the ZF coils
-Bright and clear screen
-21700 battery option
-Easy menu to use
CONS:
-Minor + and - button rattle
-Not much space when you fill in the tank,depending on you bottle you might have to remove the drip tip.
Would i recommend this device:
Of course i would.
I mean you always gotta love a single battery mod that lets you use a 21700 battery in it.
The quality of the mod and the tank is really good and the performance of the new coils with DuoPrime makes for some good vaping sessions.
So if you are in the market for a kid that offers you good RDL/DL performance do not look any further,this is the kit for you.

Unboxing and first impressions:
With their latest releases Innokin is trying to do their part to help the enviroment and they have been packaging their products in 100% recyclable environmentally sustainable packaging.
This is a good sign that a company actually cares about the world we live in,kudos on that.
As per usual nothing out of place with the packaging for this kit.
Open the box and right there you can see the mod and tank in the top tray,remove those and you will find the rest of the contents on the package neatly organized.
I gotta say one of the main reasons i am reviewing this kit is because of @AngeNZ ,she posts so many pictures of hers i think that may have seeped into my subconscious and that is why i put it in my wishlist of products for review purposes.
The Kroma 217 mod is made out of high grade zinc alloy with the option of 3 different frame color finishe,material of the mod is what keeps the weight down.
Holding it in my hand i get the sensation that a lot of time was put into the design of this mod.
I got the Mariana Blue and the blue isn't overpowering,still a lot of metal to look at and the color palette seems to be in all the right places.
Ergonomically speaking this mod fits like a glove in my big Spanish man hands,i shake the mod a bit and apart from a slight button rattle on the up and down buttons it feels sturdy and strong.
Vaping time:
Ok time to give this kit a try,as always i am using the same e-liquid i use in my daily vape.
70% VG/30% PG,Shiva Aroma at 3mg nic,that is my daily liquid so it seems fair so i can properly compare these coils with my other daily vaping apparatus.
As recommended i always prime the coils with a drop of e-liquid thru the side holes and a slight dab thru the middle.
I am happy this time i got a proper tank,as you all know i am not a fan of the looks or material used on pod like tanks,so this times it's cool to get a full metal tank.
Unscrew the base,plug in the coil and screw the base right on again,easy peasy with no hassle.
Filling type is similar to the Zlide,arrow marks the position where you start pushing from and once pushed back it reveals the filling ports,fill and slide back and you ready to go.
I let the coils sit in for 15 minutes while i was fiddling around with the mod and it's different features.
Full disclosure i am not a fan of battery door like for mods but this one is quite thick which makes it feel more durable than other mods.
Fresh 21700 inside and closed to the lid,at this point i got my test to run to check for the integrity of the battery door.
Place a mouse pad on my desk and i slide the mod along the pad as well as some light taps on the pad just to see what happens.
No red flags here,battery compartment didn't wiggle or open itself,it remained firmly shut during my test.
Basic operations:
Three clicks of the fire button to turn on and off.
Up and down to enter menu mode.
Up and fire gives a puff counter (with the option to reset) and the battery voltage.
Down and fire locks the adjustment buttons.
You have to hold the adjust button before adjusting.
This mod also incorporates the Coil + feature,same one that we saw in the Innokin Sensis.
''Innokin boasts that their new mode Coil+ can “automatically primes the coil at the end of each puff by drawing in more liquid and reducing carbon on the coil.''
Full disclosure i did try this for a bit but i am after all really simple vaper,battery in,fill tank and i just want to vape.
Haven't run the proper tests to see if like Innokin claims this feature does actually extend coil life,will leave that to the vapers who are more into the techy techy side of the vaping world.
Ok so the mod is in front of me,after 15 minutes or so i decide to get into it,i put on my favorite Enya song and look at the mod.
I am a bit aprehensive to try it out and let me explain why,i am not an MTL vaper and really haven't tried that many Innokin products since they always seemed to cater to the MTL crowd so i don't really know what to expect.
I started out with the pre installed 0.2ohm ZF,50-80W recommended wattage.
I like to start low then keep on going up by 5 watt increments,started at 30 watts and then kept on going up all the way to 70 when it just got way too hot for me.
After trying out different wattages i settled on 50 watts,still higher than my usual 30 to 33 watts on my usual attys.
Used this coil for 2 days straight then decided to try out the 0.3ohm(30-45W) which i finally left at 33 watts which was the sweet spot for me.
Gotta say Innokin really impressed me with these coils,i got slightly better flavor off the 0.2 ohm coils but to get that flavor i had to use more wattage on them.
I have been really busy lately so i kinda left my usual RTA on the side and just used these coils on a daily basis during this week.
As of today i have had no dry hits when vaping and no leaking whatsoever so kuddon Innokin for a job well done.
PROS:
-The mod fits nicely in my hand,ergonomically speaking it's like this mod was designed for me.
-Quality build
-No leaking
-Good performance from the ZF coils
-Bright and clear screen
-21700 battery option
-Easy menu to use
CONS:
-Minor + and - button rattle
-Not much space when you fill in the tank,depending on you bottle you might have to remove the drip tip.
Would i recommend this device:
Of course i would.
I mean you always gotta love a single battery mod that lets you use a 21700 battery in it.
The quality of the mod and the tank is really good and the performance of the new coils with DuoPrime makes for some good vaping sessions.
So if you are in the market for a kid that offers you good RDL/DL performance do not look any further,this is the kit for you.

Hi, today let's take a look at two of the latest offerings from Vaporesso on the subject of Box Mod Kit, these are the Gen 200 & Gen 80 S.
In this Test I will examine each of the characteristics that distinguish both Kits. I hope that by the end of this reading you may have understood these products, and therefore decide whether to invest in them or not. As always, my reviews are free and based on my personal experience.

► Vaporesso Gen 200 & Gen 80 S Kit; First Impressions:
I am very happy to provide my impressions also on these two new Vaporesso kits, in fact I can say that in the last 5 years I have been lucky enough to test most of the kits they produce and almost all of them had interesting performance and design/captivatings. Vaporesso is undoubtedly a solid company, but also a leader in the sector! So I have high expectations for Gen 200 and Gen 80 S Kit.
I received the Sunset Glow edition of Gen 200 and the Dark Black edition of Gen 80 S, Overall they are both Mods with unique style and design. I like the fact that the word "VAPORESSO" is small and therefore barely noticeable. The new "V" logo introduced in March 2022 is also very nice and unobtrusive.
Immediately when I saw Gen 200 & Gen 80 S I was reminded of the original Gen Mod dual-battery which I first dealt with three years ago in 2019. Gen Original was already an innovative product with a high-performance Axon chipset , particularly light and well finished. So their heirs Gen 200 and Gen 80 S take up the challenge starting from a rather high quality base.
The result of this work is that the new Gen 200 is certainly one of the smallest and lightest dual-battery Mods on the market, and what about the Gen 80 S single Battery? Gen 80 S is slim and slender, but the most striking fact is that the Mod (48g) weighs less than the iTank included in this kit (65g)!!!
Vaporesso certainly deserves credit for having reused the excellent and lightweight construction materials used for the first time in 2019. These coating materials are composed of 4 layers of soft-touch paint, breathable rubber panels and other panels in wear-resistant polycarbonate with fine surface texture. The comfort and portability of the Mods thanks to the incredibly compact size are all excellent features of the Gen 200 & Gen 80 S.
► Vaporesso Gen 200 & Gen 80 S Kit; Control screens and buttons:
The activation button (fire) is for both mods of a round shape, slightly protruding, made of metal, easily reachable with both the index and the thumb. On Gen 200 the Fire button is placed in a separate position on one of the two narrow sides of the Mod, while on the side panel we find; the screen, the adjustment buttons, the mode button and the charging socket.
The control panel of the Gen 80 S houses all of them together; the adjustment keys, the mode key and the Usb-c port, the screen of the Gen 80 S is smaller but the color display has the same size as that of the Gen 200. This type of display of the new Gen 200 and 80 S it is quite bright, it provides the user with all the main vaping data with large and easy to read fonts.
► Vaporesso Gen 200 & Gen 80 S Kit; Thread 510:
Another big improvement over Gen's previous models is the 510 threaded cup which is now screwed to the Mods via 3 French screws. On the original Gen it could happen that following a fall the cup came out of the Mod or that the interlocking broke. On Gen 200 the cup is placed in a central position while on Gen 80 S it is decentralized.
On the bottom of Gen 200 & Gen 80 S we find various writing; the name of the Mod, the production area, logos and trademarks required by law.
► Vaporesso Gen 200 & Gen 80 S Kit; Battery compartment:
Gen 200 uses two 18650 cells for powering and once the side panel has been removed they are inserted into the appropriate slots following the polarity indications, but a lace is missing to facilitate the extraction of the batteries. The battery door of both Mods use strong magnets, both covers fit the Mods perfectly with no visual imperfections or abnormal movements. Inside the Cover of Gen 200 there is a protective coating with a label to indicate the warnings for use.
In the photo below it is easy to understand how the Gen 200 and Gen 80 S are super compactly, just look at the dimensions of the 18650 batteries which are almost the same height as the Mods that enclose them! Brava Vaporesso, i can't really complain.
► Vaporesso iTank:
The iTank is a solid sub ohm vaporizer recently introduced on the Target 200/100/80 Kits. iTank was recently awarded by vaping360.com as the best Sub-Ohm atomizer of 2022. iTank » Vaporesso
The iTank can be purchased separately in 8ml or 5ml (2ml tpd) versions. I was lucky enough to get the non-TPD versions of iTank in combination with the Mods. Unfortunately, the Bubble glass is not included in the Gen 80 S Kit, so you have to "settle" for 5ml of capacity. Mainly I noticed the good build quality of this tank, solid, and well finished, easily removable for cleaning.
iTank is equipped with a classic filling method with sliding cap, the engraving of a "reference dot" in the Top-Cap indicates where to push to open it, then you access a filling port which is covered by a silicone membrane to avoid leakage problems. The refill is also facilitated with large bottles as it is possible to completely remove the Top-Cap.
iTank by Vaporesso uses a three-way adjustable AFC system called "Turbo Airflow" which guarantees a large air flow but also a good shrinkage of the puff, the AFC rotating ring is equipped with rotation stops and is applied very well on the base. The base must be unscrewed and separated from the Tank to insert the Gti coils from the bottom.
► Vaporesso Mesh Coil GTi and Vaping test:
Vaporesso supplies with this tank two coils of the new GTi range both indicated for DL type vaping. A new 0.5Ω GTi Mesh coil should be available soon for an RDL type vape (30-40W) with a lower range of use and more suitable for the Gen 80 S and its single18650 battery.
• 0.2Ω GTi Mesh Coil:
Using the Smart coil function, the Axon chipset sets the power of this resistor to 55W by default, then 5W below the recommended range (60-75W). Operation is very good even at 55W with a good activation speed. However I found my sweet spot at 65W with wide open AFC! A coil beast that throws us into a world of dense clouds and excellent flavors, I was really impressed! But basically I expected these excellent performances because Vaporesso has always been considered a company capable of designing the best pre-packaged coils in the entire sector.
• 0.4Ω Gti Mesh Coil:
Using the Smart coil function, the Axon chipset sets the power of this resistor to 40W by default, then 10W below the recommended range (50-60W).
Compared to the previous one, this resistance provides a slightly narrower vape, slightly less satisfying in terms of flavor, but with an almost equally high vapor production. At 50W I found my "Best" in combination with an AFC opening of 3/4. In general, the 0.2Ω coil has an overall higher efficiency as it should be. However, the 0.4Ω resistor allows you to adjust the AFC to a restricted position without heating the Puff too much and to get hot steam and a lot of Hit.
In conclusion, iTank has passed the exam with flying colors, it does not have the liquid blocking system to change the coils with a full tank, but it has an impeccable and trouble-free operation, it is silent in suction and it is very robust. Suitable for all vaper's to achieve the best achievable performance for a tank with pre-packaged heads.
► Vaporesso Gen 200 & Gen 80 S Kit; Operation Guide:
• Power on / off: 5 clicks on the Fire button
• Lock or unlock screen: Press the Fire button 3 times
• After connecting the Type-C cable to the Mod, the battery indicator shows the percentage of charge and the remaining time
• The menu is accessed by holding down the "mode" button until the mode starts flashing, using the "+" and "-" adjustment buttons you can switch to other power modes, to confirm press the button Fire or wait 5 seconds
• To access the complete settings, press the "menu" button 3 times, once inside use the "+" and "-" adjustment buttons to adjust the various parameters, to confirm press the menu button.
• Axon Chip Includes protections: Low / High Resistance, Overheat, Short Circuit, Overload / Over Discharge.
► AXON CHIP; Special Modes:
• F [t] mode:
This mode automatically adjusts the best temperature, speed and heating time of the resistance. According to Vaporesso the F [t] mode with its pulsations adequately releases the flavors of the liquid and offers a perfectly balanced tasting experience consistently from the first puff.
• PUL (Pulse mode):
It is a mode designed by Vaporesso to improve the vaping experience through the constant voltage output. It is declared; an increase in flavor, a perception of nicotine maximized with a big hit, steam with perfect and constant temperature.
• DIY mode:
In this section it is possible to choose and set three power levels (VW) Soft, Normal, High. You can also set VW output from 1 to 220W (Gen 200) and from 1 to 80W (Gen 80 S), choose VV mode from 0 to 9V, or BP mode (Bypass)
• Smart function:
The very useful Smart function after being activated reads the resistance of the coil you are using and automatically sets the power to an appropriate wattage.
This function can also be used with other tanks and coils of other manufacturers, but also with tanks equipped with "do it yourself" type resistors.
* Each single mode uses a predefined color; F [t] uses yellow, pulsed mode uses red, and watt mode uses blue.
* While charging USB-C Gen 200 & Gen 80 S also allow passthrough vaping, the graphical interface shows the charging percentage of each single accumulator, Gen 200 (2 cells) Gen 80 S (1 cell) and the remaining time at the end of the operation. Of course, the actual charging time will depend on the batteries. However, it is always advisable to use an external charger.
► Vaporesso Gen 200 & Gen 80 S Kit; Final conclusions:
About Gen 200 & Gen 80 S Mod I have said almost everything in the course of this long review, so there is little left for me to say ... Gen 200 & Gen 80 S Mod both use the latest updated edition of the Axon chip. The mods are adjusted in steps of 1W at a time, the adjustment scrolls quickly on the display, but when you reach the maximum power there is no round robin, you must therefore scroll quickly backwards, which is not a big problem. For the speed of settings and access to the menu, it should be emphasized that Vaporesso was one of the first companies to introduce the Mode button which considerably simplifies and speeds up the setting operations on the Mods.
The Axon Chip of Gen 200 & Gen 80 S is powerful and stable, however it does not feature the TC which I personally don't miss too much on entry level Mods like these. Rather I find it pleasant to be able to use the 3 steps "low, mid and high" for the rapid customization of the delivery VW-Mode. Among the other usable modes there are the voltage (VV) ... Which I would say can only be used by those who make the coils on their own, as the power on the pre-packaged coils is always present and expressed in watts. The by-pass mode on the other hand, could please those who want to simulate the delivery of a Mod-Mec. Pulse mode and "F [t]" mode (which pulses power in a different way than the first) are the two flagships of Axon Chip along with the Smart function. And it is this F [t] mode that I use regularly and on which I have personally found a certain benefit in terms of "flavor".
I also said almost everything about iTank and its excellent GTi coils and I believe that this combination is truly the best in terms of aromatic yield, certainly the power range of the resistors included in the Kit is a little too high for Gen 80 S, infact its single 18650 cell is able to discharge quickly if used at high wattages, on the contrary Gen 200 with its 2x18650 cells guarantees much more autonomy. For Gen 80 S I look forward to the release of new GTi coils such as the 0.5Ω.
To conclude, if you are looking for a dual-18650 kit or a single-18650 kit with; super performance, captivating graphics, record lightness, super compactness ... You can't go wrong by choosing them, one or both .
