Welcome back to round two of my Voopoo reviews. The last time I covered the Voopoo Vmate Infinity Edition pod kit. This time I will be covering the Voopoo Vmate E pod kit that was sent to me by Voopoo to provide a fair and honest review. The E also uses ITO flavor technology which makes sense since it can use the same pods as the Infinity. The E has a 1200mah internal battery with an output range of 5-20 watts. This one also comes with a dust cover to protect the mouthpiece. Like I mentioned, it uses the same Vmate V2 pods. However this one does come with two pods unlike the Infinity. Before I received the E and the Infinity, I had assumed that the Infinity was the flagship product but actually the E has more battery and some different features like multiple battery lights and airflow adjustment. I am hoping that the flavor is as good with this one as it was with the Infinity. Let’s go ahead and take a look at the kit and some promotional images.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

The packaging for the E is a very nice black box that has a textured look to it. The Voopoo and Vmate E names appear in gold as well as a sketch of the device. Very nicely done in my opinion. The back side of the box has the contents list, warning, company information, and an authenticity code along with a big sample sticker. Yours won’t have the sticker.

The sides of the box have some features listed as well as a few QR codes you can follow for more information. A label is on one side stating the color version of the device inside.








Once the box is opened, the accessory box is found and underneath sits the Vmate E with one pod pre-installed in the device. Inside the accessory box is a second pod, USB-C charging cable, and user manual. The two pods included in the kit are a .7 ohm just like what was included in the Infinity kit and a second pod that is 1.2 ohms.





The pods included with the kit are both side fill. The fill plug on them is very soft and flexible. The pod opening is fairly large and I was able to fill with both a 10ml and 50ml bottle without any spillage. The pods do not have any magnets on them. There are just the two electrical contacts that meet up with the spring loaded pins in the pod opening on the battery. They simply lock into the battery opening. It is very secure and takes a bit of effort to remove.








The Vmate E I received is the white inlaid gold and has a really nice appearance in my opinion. It kind of reminds me of an antique lighter or something. On one side is a polished gold surface that is polished using 14 different processes. As a matter of fact it is so polished that you can see my reflection in my picture. Almost like a mirror.

The opposite side is covered in a nice white leather. It isn’t really padded but has a nice texture to it. The Voopoo name is stamped into the leather near the bottom and there are four battery indicator lights that illuminate when a puff is taken or it is plugged in to charge. The E also includes a dust cap that very nicely matches the rest of the body and still allows you to see the liquid level through the cut out in the mod and cap. Unfortunately the cap cannot be stored on the device so you’ll have to put it in a pocket or something. The four lights on the front indicate the battery level as follows.

- Four indicator lights are on in white = Fully charged

- Three lights on in white = 50-75%

- Two lights on in white = 25-50%

- One light on in white = 10-25%

- One light on in red = <10%


There are also status indicators as follows.

- Pod detected = Each light flashes in sequence

- Pod undetected during ignition = Indicator light flashes twice in red

- Low Power = Indicator light flashes 10 times in red

- Over time vaping = All indicators flash 5 times at the same time

- Short circuit = Indicator light is on in red for 2 seconds

- Over heat protection = Indicator light is on for 5 seconds in red







The Vmate E has a built in airflow control which is a very nice feature considering it comes with a 1.2 ohm pod as well as the .7 ohm pod. For those that want a tighter MTL experience then the airflow can be tightened down. Even closed all the way there is a little airflow which would give a very tight MTL for those that appreciate that. On the opposite side the words “Designed by Voopoo” are engraved into the metal.




FINAL THOUGHTS:

Just like with the Infinity edition, it has been a real pleasure testing the Voopoo Vmate E. The dust cap is a nice touch to keep foreign material out of the mouthpiece when pocket carrying the device. The finish of the metal is very nice but is not a fingerprint magnet. The texture and appearance of the leather on the other side is very nice. The only issue I have at all with the Vmate E is that the entire body is rounded so it will not stand up and will not stay on its thin sides so when you place it on a table or other surface then it will always be resting either on the shiny metal side or on the leather which could leave marks depending on the surface.

I thought that both the 1.2 and .7 pods produced very good flavor and vapor for a pod device. I liked the .7 pod with the airflow completely open and the 1.2 pod with the airflow closed down a little over half way. Both pods produced warm and flavorful vapor.

So, what’s not to like about a pocket friendly pod with a very nice appearance and great performance? Not much. I like it very much. So obviously I would recommend it for you.

These tests below only note my personal ESTIMATED ratings for the batteries I tested at the time I tested them. Any battery that is not a genuine Samsung, Sony, Murata, LG, Panasonic, Molicel, or Sanyo can change at any time! This is one of the hazards of using “rewrapped” or batteries from other manufacturers so carefully research any battery you are considering using before purchasing.

Misusing or mishandling lithium-ion batteries can pose a SERIOUS RISK of property damage, personal injury, or even death. They should never be used outside of a fully protected battery pack and you use them at your own risk. Never exceed the battery’s true continuous discharge rating (CDR), never let it get colder than 0°C or hotter than 60°C, and keep the plastic wrap and top insulating ring in perfect condition. Never use a battery that is physically damaged in any way.

Testing batteries at their limits is dangerous and should never be attempted by anyone who has not thoroughly studied the dangers involved, understands the risks, has the proper equipment, and takes all appropriate safety precautions.

If the battery has only one current rating number, or if it only says "max", then I have to assume the battery is rated at that current level for any type of discharge, including continuous.




Test Results
This cell is a decent performer, equal to the Sinowatt 30SP, but not as good as the Samsung 30Q or Murata VTC6. I have not tested its cycle life. Check my 18650 Ratings and E-Scores table (link below) to see how well this cell performed against others.

The cell-to-cell performance consistency (for four cells) was decent but not as good as cells from the big manufacturers. However, the capacities for two of the cells was 3059mAh and 3064mAh and this is great consistency.

Its 15A continuous rating for this cell seems reasonable but the 35A pulse/burst rating is ridiculously high. A two second 35A discharge pulse from a freshly charged cell brought it down to about 3.25V.

Was this 35A rating based on voltage sag? Cell temperature? Cycle life? A combination of these things? Or was it just something the cell can survive for a couple of pulses?

If we just say the rating is 35A does that mean I can keep pulsing the cell at 35A until it is empty? No, that would make the cell much too hot! We need to know how the rating was set and what limits it has to know how it can be properly used. Otherwise it is a useless number.

Some of the large manufacturers have higher non-continuous ratings but they tell you the limits for the rating (voltage sag, max temperature, effect on duty cycle, etc.). I would love to see Imren do the same.

Imren has told me that they are committed to using accurate ratings and are even willing to get rid of the high pulse/burst/max ratings on the wrap. This is great to hear but we will have to see what happens. It will take time for Imren to redo the wraps and get them into distribution though.

Their continuous ratings seem to be accurate (more test reports coming soon). It’s the other numbers that are a problem for me and I look forward to seeing what Imren does.

Only interested in the building not the vaping part my wife can do that

Hey everyone I created this account because I have a question since I'm new to Vaping.

First of I'm from Canada and I just recently went to a corner store and ask if he had something else than the original STLTH PODS.
He showed me the other brand he had and it was Vpods. I remembered looking online earlier for new pods flavor/brand compatible with the STLTH, I confuse them for the Zpods where people were saying good things about...
Once I got home I tried to look into Vpods online and all I saw was the Zpods. No reddit post seems to have ever been made about Vpods.
So this is where I get suspicious about it and stop smoking it right away (about 4 hit).

On the box you can read "Designed in Canada by Vpuff lab Canada" (wish doesn't seems to exist either)

"manufactured in P.R.C" (just learned it's to make made in china look good)

"Ejuice designed In USA"

Now my question is does anyone know anything about those Vpods ? The taste was not bad, but are they safe to vape? Would you still vape it ?

Thanks for choosing to join me for yet another review. This time I was sent the Voopoo Vmate Infinity Series Pod kit for review by Voopoo. I know you are probably thinking it’s just another pod. Well to me, one of the most important things that I consider when buying a pod is flavor production. Yes, I like adjustable airflow and a screen is a bonus but flavor production is number one. The Infinity is made of aluminum alloy to make it durable yet lightweight. It has an internal 900mah battery with a maximum output rating of 17 watts. The output voltage is 3.2-4.2 volts and has a resistance operating range of .7-3 ohms. The included pod is .7 ohms and has a liquid capacity of 3ml which is larger than most pods I test. So far it sounds pretty good right? Well, let’s look at some specs and promotional images and I’ll give my thoughts on it which will hopefully help you decide if this one might be a good fit for you.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

The packaging for the Infinity is a simple but nice looking box that opens from one end and has a clear window on the front so you can see the device inside. I know I’ve mentioned this before but I like the clear window type packaging. The box has some very nice coloring with the Voopoo and Vmate Infinity Edition names on it. Also on the side in kind of a cloud effect is Vmate on the left side.

Mine was clearly marked as a sample on one end. The back of the box has the contents list as well as a warning and the company information. The sides of the box have some QR codes on it but didn’t feel like it was necessary to put up a picture of them.





The VMATE V2 pods for the Infinity are really nice and well thought out. They use the ITO technology and the mouthpiece is designed with a full lip design. What that means is that the mouthpiece is designed so that the lips fully seal around it to get maximum performance. I have to say I like the design. There was much research and design put into these pods to give the features that are listed in the picture below.



The kit only came with one pod which kind of surprised me. I’ve given my standpoint on one pod kits in the past so won’t go into that this time. That being said, the included pod is rated at .7 ohms and has a liquid capacity of 3ml. It comes with a safety seal on the bottom so it isn’t accidentally activated until it is filled with liquid. It’s always a good idea with any pod to fill the pod and let it sit for 5-10 minutes before using it.

The pod has what I believe is an infinity sign molded into each side of the pod and that portion is visible when it is inserted into the battery so you can really see the liquid level very well. A nice design touch on Voopoo’s part in my opinion.





I always prefer top fill pods but this one is side fill but the rubber plug is very soft and a little wider on the end than most so it’s pretty easy to get a hold on. The fill port opening is fairly large and larger than most side fill pods I’ve used. The resistance rating is imprinted on the plug which makes it a little difficult to see unless you have really good lighting.



These pods don’t have magnets on the bottom like most pods. They simply snap into the battery body but are very secure and take a little effort to remove.

The pod opening on the battery has two gold plated spring loaded contacts that align with the contacts on the pod. To one side is the raised airflow sensor which by the way works very well.



The body of the Infinity is made from aluminum alloy which makes it durable yet lightweight. Also, I very much like the color version that I received for the review. It is auto draw only and there is no button. The Voopoo name is on one side with Gene AI on the other side referring to the Gene chip that Voopoo used in this device. I know I mentioned it earlier but really like how the battery has the cut out in it on both sides so you can better see the liquid level in the pod.





There is a single hole on each side for airflow. On one side is an infinity symbol that illuminates when a puff is taken or when the battery is being charged. The battery indications are as follows.

- Green = 60-100%

- Blue = 20-60%

- Red = <20%

The battery indicator flashes when it is actively charging and will go to a solid green once charging is completed.

The USB-C charging port is on the bottom of the Infinity. I am actually starting to prefer this location for charging ports on pod devices. I felt like the charging cable included with the kit as rather short. The Infinity does have a series of built in protections which are as follows.

- Overtime protection: 8 seconds

- Short circuit protection

- Overcharge protection

- Low battery protection

- Output over-current protection





FINAL THOUGHTS:

To be honest, I have reviewed so many pod devices that I sometimes get a little burned out on them. The simplicity and the great performance from the Vmate Infinity Series pod has done a good job of breaking that monotony. Many times when I test a pod device there are things that I would change or features that I wish had been included but were not. This is not one of those cases. From the first puff I was pretty confident that I was really going to like this one. Especially coming off of my last pod before this one which was a disappointment.

With a 900mah battery and a max output of 17 watts, the Infinity is really a great performer in my opinion. I used an ry4 mix that I use fairly often for pod reviews and the flavor produced was very good as well as a very good amount of vapor produced on the exhale.

I always have 12-15 devices in rotation and in one vape session may use 4-5 different ones. One way I can tell I really like a device is I will sit and mindlessly puff on it without the thought of switching to another device even crossing my mind. This was the case with the Infinity. The draw is a loose MTL but the vapor is warm, flavorful, and satisfying. It’s not very often that I test a pod device and don’t wish I could change something. For me, the Infinity just works!

I probably don’t need to say this but here it is anyway. So would I recommend the Voopoo Vmate Infinity Series for you? If you want a nice looking device that performs as well as it looks without a bunch of bells and whistles then absolutely YES.

VINCIBAR F2500 It is inspired by VooPoo's compact VINCI design. • Drag Bar R 6000 in combination with Green Apple Ice flavor with 6mg of Nic salts.
I have recharged the device via a Type-C cable several times already as Green Apple Ice it contains has literally bewitched me. I didn't think apple could become one of my favorite flavors, but it is. It captivated me with its fragrance and exquisite sweetness, very faithful to the flavor of the green apple that is sometimes sour and unripe and sometimes ripe and sweet. The device is equipped with a 0.6Ω Mesh-Coil that expresses a constant power of 18W in pure RDL style, by adjusting the AFC in more closed positions it is possible to obtain an excellent strong and decisive MTL vape. The puff is extremely fluid and free of spitting, the steam clouds are dense and abundant.

• Drag Bar F 8000 in combination with the Vanilla Cream Tobacco flavor with 20mg of Nic salts.
I have never been a lover of tobacco flavors, however I have to change my mind! This mix of vanilla and tobacco turns out to be wonderful and recalls a rather complex aromatic range that includes a Cuban cigarette part, a sweet creamy part that looks like white chocolate and a well-blended alcoholic background of rum. Nic's high concentration produces a strong Hit especially by closing the AFC and I'm no longer used to these high concentrations so this disposable will last me a long time. The type of Vape of Drag Bar F 8000 ranges from restricted MTL to airy MTL with a discreet production of vapor with a decisive and dry tone.

• VINCIBAR F2500 in combination with the Green Apple Ice flavor with 20mg of Nic salts.
The fantastic frozen green apple that I enjoyed so much on the Drag Bar R 6000 is just as tasty on this VINCIBAR F2500. However, Nic's very high gradation prevents me from prolonged use of the device. The VINCIBAR F2500 type of Vape is of the airy, strong and decisive MTL type. The battery is not rechargeable and I believe that even this device with its 6.5ml at 20mg of Nic will last me a long time before throwing it.



In conclusion these devices are fantastic for their great performance and for their extreme simplicity, I look forward to the next sample for a new test.

► VooPoo VMATE Infinity Edition & VMATE E; First Impressions:
VOOPOO released a seven-day countdown timer on its official website on June 23rd. Based on this, a launch of a new "More than Infinite" themed product will be held on June 29 at 22:00 (GMT + 8). The launch event is held not only for new products, but also for celebrate the 8th anniversary of the founding of VOOPOO.

“Vaper Mate, Pure Taste” is their slogan. VooPoo VMATE Infinity Edition & VMATE E are the new proposal by VooPoo for the Entry-level vape intendeds for beginners who want to quit smoking but, also for the more experienced who want to continue to stay away from the habit of smoking. Both devices are pocket-sized and share the same disposable refillable cartridges. Before opening the packages of the two devices, the name "Infinity Edition" misled me because I thought that between the two this was the most valuable version, in reality the VMATE E version seems better refined and richer, we will see the differences later.



► VooPoo VMATE Infinity Edition; How it is made:
As I anticipated, VMATE Infinity Edition is the updated version of VMATE and it is not the poor version of VMATE E. However, VMATE Infinity Edition in the "Basic" sector of the Pod-Mod turns out to be a beautiful object, of solid and resistant metal construction, and attractive in appearance. For this test I received the Golden Brown color sample, with darker vertical streaks that create pleasant lighting effects.



The rounded and soft shapes extend on the narrow sides where there is a small opposing hole , the two small calibrated holes direct the air flow towards the coil and are undoubtedly made for an MTL type vape.
* On one side there is a luminous indicator in the shape of an infinity symbol (∞) this led during use and depending on the battery charge level emits colored lights as follows:
• Green Light: 60-100%
• Blue Light: 20-60%
• Red Light: <20%



The Pod compartment contains the gold-plated contact pins and the Puff's automatic activation sensor. The charging socket is located on the bottom of the VMATE Infinity Edition.



* The corresponding color light flashes during charging. When charging is complete, the green light stays on. During use, the corresponding indicator light gradually becomes brighter. After the Red light has flashed 10 times it means that the battery is low and the device will not work, so it needs to be recharged.



► VooPoo VMATE E; How it is made:
The real star looks like she VMATE E! With the additional 1.2Ω V2 cartridge supplied, the anti-dust cap, the leather decorations, the adjustable afc and the LED indications on 4 points, the final result is a concentrate of unusual technology for a Pod-mod. Furthermore VMATE E includes the automatic power regulation function. So when sucking from the drip tip the chipset intelligently calculates the most suitable output power based on how intensely you suck, based on the Coil and other parameters. This innovative feature can effectively prevent excessive heat and subsequent lips sunburn. This system also prolongs the life of the Coil.
I received the White Inlaid Gold version for this test, the double-sided appearance of this VMATE E is quite elaborate, the Gold color frame is entirely made of metal and undergoes 14 polishing processes for a total of 150 minutes of processing for each piece, this to optimize the sanding and shine of the device. The leather offers an optimal tactile feel and a luxurious style. The LEDs indicator turns on and off with each puff, showing the battery capacity in real time.

* On the side where there is the leather decoration there is a 4-level indicator light which during use, depending on the battery charge, emits colored lights as follows:
• One Led is Red: 0-10%
• One Led is White: 10-25%
• Two LEDs are White: 25-50%
• Three LEDs are White: 50-75%
• Four LEDs are White: 75-100%



On one side of VooPoo VMATE E, we find the laser engraved "Designed By VooPoo" writing. On the opposite side is a fine slider AFC control that offers perfects adjustment of the Puff ranging from narrow MTL to airy MTL.



The Pod compartment contains the gold-plated contact pins and the Puff's automatic activation sensor. In the image below you can see the VMATE E anti-dust cap, this hygienic cap is always a welcome accessory in vape devices and in this case it is well made, in fact it fits on the cartridge in a solid and simple way.



The charging socket is located on the bottom of VMATE E.

► VooPoo VMATE Infinity Edition & VMATE E; Disposable Pods:
Both devices share the same 0.7Ω (3ml) V2 cartridges with ITO disposable pod technology, but in the VMATE E package there is also the 1.2Ω (3ml) V2 option which can also be used on VMATE Infinity Edition. These cartridges take advantage of a rather aerodynamic and comfortable design to hold between the lips, moreover they are additives to silver ions and this would make the surface 99% anti-bacterial. The transparency of the material allows good visibility on the internal e-liquid level. The refill is done laterally by lifting a silicone rubber, the large diameter hole also allows the use of e-liquid bottles with a rather large tip.



► VooPoo VMATE Infinity Edition & VMATE E; Final conclusions:

• VMATE Infinity Edition fully represents the simplicity of a device that must be durable over time, but still offers an attractive appearance and its LED in the shape of an infinity symbol (∞) is really very beautiful and choreographic when it lights up. The Puff is in pure MTL style, sufficiently narrow and with balanced Hit. The steam emission with the 0.7Ω coil is remarkable, the steam is hot at the right point, the Puff is fluid and regular. The Crispy aroma that I used for the test is very amplified in flavor, the ITO technology of these cartridges is the best you could want on a device like this.

• VMATE E fully represents elegance but also richness, in fact the device is full of details, both aesthetic and technical that make it look VMATE E like a little genius.
The slider AFC control in collaboration with the GENE AI chip adjusts all the parameters to get a perfect vape! The automatic Puff is sensitive and quick in activation and with any degree of opening of the AFC. With the closed cursor of the AFC you get an MTL type Puff even more restricted than that of VMATE Infinity Edition. Sliding the AFC slider to increase airflow results in an open, smooth and flavorful Puff. The user is well supported by this artificial intelligence which is always perfectly controlled by the GENE AI chip and its 4 notification LEDs. For me this VMATE E is the best Pod-Mod with disposable cartridges that I have tried so far, brilliant !.

Both devices work very well, are quick to recharge and both offer good autonomy, especially VMATE E with its 1,200mAh of battery capacity. During this test I did not notice any problems. So depending on your tastes you just have to choose your next Pod Mod between these two, and you will certainly be satisfied.
