GEEKVAPE NANO POD MOD review by hittman

I’m back at it again today with yet another review. Today I’ll be talking about a little beast of a pod mod called the Geekvape Nano. I thought it was going to be called the Aegis Nano but obviously it’s not since it’s not listed that way on their website. I was sent the Nano by Geekvape in order to provide a fair and honest review and to help you decide if it’s a device you might like to add to your collection. When I saw it, I just thought it was a mini Aegis in pod form and didn’t expect a lot. I was pleasantly surprised by it. Before I get too far into it let’s take a look and see what is in the kit and see some pictures.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

Once again I received the reviewer’s sample which comes in a nice box with an orange flap that flips up to expose the contents inside. I received the green camo version. I’ve never really been a fan of different colored camo patterns but this one looks pretty decent.

The Nano battery portion has two magnets and two gold plated contacts inside the top where the pod sits and makes connection. Toward the front top there are two rectangular cut outs that are for attaching the lanyard neck chain. I’m not a fan and will never use a lanyard but you don’t have to because it is optional. Below the cut outs is the display screen. The screen shows a battery indicator, wattage in a good sized font, followed by coil resistance, voltage, and puff counter. For me, everything besides the battery indicator and wattage are too small and very difficult to read. If you are holding the device with the screen facing you then on the right side is the fire button which is the only button on the Nano. On the opposite side of the fire button stamped into the rubber exterior is the word Aegis. On the rear of the unit at the top is a sliding airflow control which I greatly appreciated. Airflow control is an important feature for me. On the bottom of the unit is a rubber flip open cover that exposes the USB-C charging port for the 800mah internal battery.

upload_2021-6-7_19-39-50.png

The Nano is a very simplistic device to operate since there is only one button on it. The only thing the operator can change is the number of times they press the fire button so in fact this is how you operate the Nano. The operation is as follows:

- Press the fire button five times to turn the device on and off

- Press the fire button four times and the puff counter will flash. Press it once more and the puff counter will be reset

- Press the fire button three times and the wattage will flash. Either press the button once at a time or hold down for faster scrolling. Once it hits the top of the range then press again to start at the lowest setting.

- Press the fire button two times to lock the device. The display will say Fire Locked.

The kit comes with two pods. The pods for the Nano do not have replaceable coils so when the pod goes bad then you have to throw out the entire thing. I am very happy to report that the pods are indeed top fill. I can’t tell you how glad I am that they are not bottom or side fill. The pods are in fact clear also but most of the pod is covered by the tip. If you push on one side of the tip then it will come off to expose a black rubber gasket. You have to lift the gasket to fill. I kind of wish that this gasket could have been incorporated into the tip so you could just pop the tip off and fill without the extra step. On the side of the tip there are three marks on each side to let you know where to press to remove the tip and fill. At first I experienced a little difficulty removing the pod from the battery until I realized that if I just press upward on the side of the tip above where the airflow control is then it will pop right out. On the bottom of the pod are the two matching contacts and magnets.

The .6 pod comes preinstalled on the Nano but has a safety seal on the bottom that must be removed before the first use. I liked the .6 pod at 20 watts with the airflow completely open even though the mod defaults to 23 when the pod is installed. The operating range for the .6 pod is 5-30 watts. The device restricts the output from 5-14 watts for the 1.2 pod. The default is 12 watts and I liked that very much once again with the airflow open. The flavor production with both pods was very good in my opinion and the amount of vapor produced was very generous for such a small device.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

Once again Geekvape has put out what I consider to be a very good product. I very much enjoyed testing the Nano. I liked both of the pods. The .6 pod was good for me as an RDL and the 1.2 pod I liked as an airy MTL. I feel like because of the mouthpiece that those that like a really tight MTL may not like it so much.

I thought the Nano was very comfortable to hold and liked the positioning of the fire button. It looks quite a bit like the Aegis Solo and is IP67 rated. It is small enough to easily fit in a pocket but vapes like a much bigger device. I felt like I got good battery life with the two different pods and was very happy with the flavor and vapor production.

So would I recommend it? Yes if you would like a small pocket friendly pod device that is water, shock, and dust resistant and gives good flavor and a decent amount of vapor. I would like to thank Monica and Geekvape for sending the Nano for this review. You might be tired of hearing it but thanks goes out to the readers. Below is a link to the Nano if you would like to take a look for yourself.

Ñew member, need some help

Hi. Just an explanation for the name here - a band I like which I started using as a name in forums a long time ago and have continued using just out of habit. I started vaping over six months ago and gave up smoking cold turkey. Very happy. I did this with the Alt disposable pod kit - very easy to use with no buttons or anything. Just have to replace the pods when empty. In the last week I bought an Innokin Zlide tube kit with 1.6 ohm coils as it had some great reviews, and they said it was good for beginners which I still am. Also bought some 75/25 VG/PG juice. Filled it, primed the coils, and did everything according to the instructions. When I use it it makes a bubbling sound and spits large drops of liquid, and I end up with sticky liquid all over the pen. Is anyone able to tell me if I have simply bought the wrong liquid or is there possibly some other possible problem? Very appreciative of any help. Cheers

Bench Test Results: Vapcell Red K15 – 15A 1500mAh 18500…good performer

These tests below only note my personal ESTIMATED ratings for the batteries I tested at the time I tested them. Any battery that is not a genuine Samsung, Sony, Murata, LG, Panasonic, Molicel, or Sanyo can change at any time! This is one of the hazards of using “rewrapped” or batteries from other manufacturers so carefully research any battery you are considering using before purchasing.

Misusing or mishandling lithium-ion batteries can pose a SERIOUS RISK of property damage, personal injury, or even death. They are not supposed to be used outside of a fully protected battery pack and you use them at your own risk. Never exceed the battery’s true continuous current rating and keep the plastic wrap and top insulating ring in perfect condition.

Testing batteries at their limits is dangerous and should never be attempted by anyone who has not thoroughly studied the dangers involved, understands the risks, has the proper equipment, and takes all appropriate safety precautions.

If the battery has only one current rating number, or if it only says "max", then I have to assume the battery is rated at that current level for any type of discharge, including continuous.

Test Results
This cell is a pretty good performer and its 15A rating seems reasonable. I have not tested an 18500 in a long time so I do not have any cells to directly compare against the K15.

The two cells I tested delivered 1593mAh and 1596mAh. This is great consistency and exceeds this cell’s 1500mAh rating.

Two cells were donated for testing by Vapcell (18650 batteries, Vapcell batteries, 18650 Chargers). Thank you!

Ordering eLiquid Online? READ THIS!!

In order to beat the PACT Act/Mail Ban on eLiquid, just recently ordered 3 bottles of HALO via Vaprzon. Think online retailers are trying to avoid major carriers, & instead using regional or smaller shipping companies. In my case Halo / Vaprzon used a company called Blue Streak.

Also think I made a mistake choosing the cheapest delivery: "Signature Shipping - (C02A)". When Blue Streak gets to your place you MUST ANSWER THE DOOR coz they won't just leave the package. Also:
  • ID is required & must match the Shipping Label,
  • the driver takes photos of the ID beside the package/label,
  • finally must sign for the package.
DID SIMILAR HAPPEN TO YOU??

Also wondering if all of the above applies if I picked shipping: "USPS - Standard", &/or "USPS - Expedited"? Both are more expensive.

I bet ordering eLiquid online is gonna be even more of a hassle going forward. In any case, MAKE SURE YOU'RE AT HOME & ANSWER THE DOOR!!

Review: Univapo Kipo

Review of the Univapo Kipo Pod Kit (link)
This kit was provided by a Univapo representative for review.

Days used before review
: 5 days
Juice used: 50VG 6mg freebase nicotine juice, peppermint, clear, moderately sweet.

The Univapo Kipo packs quite a satisfying hit for such a little device. In terms of it's size it's a true stealth device. In terms of vapor, not so stealthy as it does produce a rather large cloud with 50/50 juice. As you vape on it and the battery voltage drops, so will your vapor production. But honestly, it's not that noticeable until you reach the last 3rd of the battery's charge life (indicated by red LED). This is a tiny and well-designed pod system. The flavor is also quite good for a low powered device.

About the Kipo Pods:
The kit comes with both at 1.0 ohm pod and a 1.3 ohm pod. I checked on a meter and they are in fact around those resistances. In terms of tightness of hit, I would classify it as a loose MTL to tight RDL, I vape it using both styles of vaping. The pods have never leaked for me in the 5 days I have used this kit. The Kipo pods do not have replaceable coil heads.

Difference between the 1 & 1.3 ohm pods: there is absolutely no difference to me between the 2 pods in terms of tightness of draw. Where I see the difference between the 1 and 1.3 ohm pods is in warmth of vapor and vapor production. The 1.3 ohm pod does have a little cooler vapor and slightly less vapor production & flavor over the 1.0 ohm pod. IMHO, the 1.0 ohm pod produces a more satisfying and flavorful vape because of this, however I usually vape at 18-25 watts on other devices at 0.5 to 1.2 ohms so naturally I would prefer the a warmer vape than what the 1.3 ohm can supply.

The pod design is very comfortable between my lips, but what I like best about the pod is that it freely turns when it's installed in the battery. The reason this is good is becuase you can blindly grab the pod and put it u to your mouth and if the pod us in the wrong orientation it's very easy to readjust it with your mouth to get it into the position it needs to be.

The fill port for the Kipo pods is on the side. Filling is easy except it can be a little annoying trying to pry up the fill port plug if you have short fingernails.

One thing I REALLY like about the Kipo pods is that they prime very easily. I just fill a new pod and take 2 light primer puffs before I insert the pod into the battery and it's ready to vape with no dry or burnt hits. I attribute this to the rather large juice ports on the coil housing. One thing to note is that when the pod is brand new it does appear to spit back for a few puffs right after you fill a pod. However it goes away after a few puffs. This only happened on the first 3 to 5 fills of the pod but it doesn't seem to do it anymore.

After 5 days of moderately heavy use, the pods seems to be holding up very well. There are o signs of burning or reduced vapor or flavor yet. As usual for all vape devices, your mileage will vary as to how long the pods will last according to the juice you use.

About the Kipo Battery:
The Kipo battery can be fired using a button but also has with a auto-draw sensor so you can vape it without pushing the button, just like smoking. The auto-draw is very responsive and I actually prefer it over using the button. The button is at the bottom of the battery and the device being so small makes it kind of awkward for me to press the button. I guess the smaller your hands are the less awkward it will be (I'd say my hands are medium size). Even the button is highly responsive. Whether you use the button or auto draw, there is no lag time - it fires quickly. The Kipo battery is about the size & shape of a half-smoked cigar and very light. I often hold the Kipo like a cigar when I'm vaping on the it so the auto-draw is definitely nice for that.

The battery has one very small LED light on it hear the bottom. It has 3 colors: Green, Blue and Red. When vaping it, the LED turns on. If it's Green, you are at the top end of the battery charge. Blue means are are in the middle of the battery charge and Red means you're at the bottom and you should probably consider charging the battery at that point.

The Kipo pod system battery is equipped with Type-C USB charging port and is capable of 2 amp charging. I can't really tell you how fast the Kipo charges at 2 amps because I don't have a 2 amp USB power source. But I can tell you that at 1 amp it takes about 1.5 hours to fully charge from when it is completely drained. However I can tell you that what seems to be happening is that it's charging fast up to about 90 or 95%, then it trickle charges the rest of the way. This fast charge to 90 or 95% only takes about 15-20 min on 1 amp. This is good becuase you don't have to charge it the whole way if you don't have the time and you need a vape immediately.

The Kipo pod battery has the usual 5-clicks to turn it off and on, but it also has a standby mode. To get into standby you have to just click the button 3 times. Once in standby, you cannot vape the device. You have to take it out of standby with 3-clicks. You'll know it's in standby becuase if you try to use it the LED light will flash green 3 times. You cannot turn the device off with 5 clicks when the Kipo is in standby mode, you have to first bring it out of standby with 3 clicks, then do the 5 clicks to turn it off. To me, this standby feature serves no purpose when you can just shut it off when you're not using it with 2 more quick clicks.

Recommendation:
I would definitely recommend The Univapo Kipo to light or infrequent vapers and to light or infrequent cigarette smokers to get them to switch from smoking to vaping. I would also recommend it to the cigar smoker who is looking to get into vaping.

While the Kipo does in fact hold up to chain vaping very well (I chain vaped it quite a bit to see if it could handle it and it did - never a dry or burnt hit), being that it has a small 520mah battery and only 2ml juice capacity, it really isn't designed for heavy use. But I would recommend it for heavy users when they need a stealth device that they'll be using less frequently than normal. In such a case I would recommend using the 1.0 ohm pod over the 1.3 ohm pod.

A suggestion to Univapo:
To me, the only thing that makes the Kipo's design feminine is certain colors that are available for it (especially the gradient colors). In the black and gunmetal colors especially, the Kipo really isn't feminine in my eyes, it's just a small and stealthy pod kit. I believe it should be marketed toward a wider market - the small vape/stealth vape market. Just my opinion. I would recommend this to men and women alike as a small or stealthy vape, but because of your marketing it may turn the men off which will decrease your sales.

Notable Pros:
  • Light and tiny - super stealthy size
  • Great vapor production and decent flavor.
  • Nice loose MTL to tight RDL draw.
  • Comfortable on the lips
  • Fast charge the first ~90-95% of the battery
  • Never leaked for me
  • Has only one tiny LED light making it more conducive for stealth use.
  • Pods prime quickly with just a couple light primer puffs making them readily available to vape shortly after filling

Notable Cons:
  • Seems to be only available from the manufacturer's website, which means they are shipped from China. This is not good in terms of pod availability. If you can't get the pods at a local vape shop, that means you have to order a lot of pods and plan ahead so that you don't run out before your next order
  • Small liquid capacity
  • Small battery capacity
  • Bottom fire button is awkward to use for me
  • Can spit back for a few puffs right after filling the pod
  • Fill port cover can be hard to pry open if you have very short nails
  • Charging cable supplied is very short (7.5 inches end to end)

Available colours:
I received the Green version of Captain Link for this test, the different choices seem to differ only in the color of the mask which is chromatically matched to the adjustment buttons (Fire, Up, Down).
• Black, SS, Blue, Green, Red.

iJoy Captain Link 5.jpg

First impressions:

This is my first review of an iJoy product. For this and other reasons I was very curious to try this Kit.
Since VooPoo started using the classic "circular" tank with fixed drip-tip for DL / RDL and bottom refill, all the main competitors have copied and re-proposed their versions on the theme.
The magnetic base with adjustable AFC could not escape the same fate; convenient and brilliant to apply the Pod to the classic Mods through the 510 thread. It is a simple and winning solution, however there are updated "circular Pods" with replaceable Drip-Tip and refill from the top.

I found other similarities with a very famous and beautiful product from GeeKvape. Captain Link and Aegis Max, in fact, both use a 18650/21700 cell for a Max power of 100W.
The two Mods look pretty similar (in anti-shock type of construction). Sure the Aegis is full IP-67 (Tri-Proof), however I never thought about vaping in the shower.
So for some reasons I believe that the iJoy Link can be a valid and economical alternative, for example, to the competitor VooPoo X Plus which accuses some volt / battery management problems with MTL atomizers installed.
Captain Link is in fact a suitable choice for those who want to use MTL atomizers without voltage drops occurring during cell discharge.
The small size of iJoy Captain Link, its beautiful finishes, the constant power delivery with different types of coils and the possibility of hosting a large 21700 cell seem to be excellent premises ...
I just have to continue to better evaluate this kit.

iJoy Captain Link 6.jpg

Feeling:
As I anticipated, the small dimensions are almost record-breaking and the weight is not excessive. Captain Link is very solid and despite being made of zinc alloy it also feels quite light. The four inserts in soft silicone rubber are well positioned and their "striped" surface texture is very pleasant in contact with the fingers.
The handle is really ergonomic with a sizing almost equivalent to that of a tube-mech or semi-mech with 21700. However here we have a nice 0.96 "color display. That's why I feel like saying that iJoy with Captain Link has made a rational work on the dimensions, without neglecting the aesthetic part that is captivating.

iJoy Captain Link 7.jpg

Side view:
The frame is in Zinc alloy and the armor (green in this case) ... I think it is made of aluminum is screwed to the mod by means of two torx screws and extends from one side to the other covering the entire rear part dedicated to the handle.
In the center we find the silicone rubber element (1 per side), during the vape this insert comes into contact with the hand and fingers, thus creating comfort and grip. The panels are connected with the front part in order to narrow the section, otherwise towards the handle the panels and the armor take on a rounded shape to improve the feeling with the palm of the hand.

iJoy Captain Link 8.jpg

Front and back view:
The screen crosses the entire front area and houses a bright 0.96 "color display in the center that shows all the information useful for vaping.
The Fire, Up and Down keys are slightly protruding, easy to reach and take up the color of the armor. Below we find the Type-C 5V / 1.5A charging socket.

The back (handle) is the most elaborate area of the Mod, the rounded shape is comfortable and the rubbery inserts inserted in the armor vary a little the look compared to the usual eco leather. Personally, I really like this solution for its utility (grip), tactile and aesthetic feeling.

iJoy Captain Link 9.jpg

Top and bottom view:
The 510 threaded cup is screwed to the mod via 3 torx screws and has a gold-plated floating pin for better electrical conductivity. Captain Link can accommodate atomizers up to a diameter of 25 / 26mm without protrusion.

On the bottom we find the screw cap of the compartment / battery.
The cap has 3 safety holes for venting and a convenient lifting handle to facilitate cell change. The thread of the cap on the mod has a good smoothness.

Tornado EX2

Hi has anyone had any problems with the battery of the Tornado EX2? I've had two batteries for just over 4 months and had a big problem with both at different times. I've switched them off at night but when I've come down I've smelt burning, I've noticed the liquid in my pen was bubbling out and the battery was red hot. I think if it had been left any longer it would have exploded.
I threw my first one away as the same happened, but when I went to use it again it kept switching on on it's own. I've gone back to the shop and they said " theyve not had a problem with them", please be vigilant as I dread to think what could have happened if me and my partner wasnt home or still in bed.

Innokin Sensis Next-Gen 40W Pod Mod - Review

Hi ECF members, In this review i take a look at the Sensis Pod Mod from Innokin. The Innokin Sensis was supplied for the purpose of this review by Timmy from Innokin.

Sensis - Product | INNOKIN®

Introduction

Innokin are one of the old guard when it comes to vaping manufactures yet they have not only stayed relevant but are also leading the way in innovation. The Sensis is a Pod Mod that introduces brand new technology which both improves flavour but also coil longevity by using a coil refresh feature and new F0 technology which uses AC Current! After using the device for a while i am very impressed so i will crack on and share my thoughts!

1x Type-C Charging Cable

___________________________________________________________________

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

I am not going to go into great detail here as there is a lot to cover in the review and a lot of these pod mods have a very similar form factor and of course photos are included.

What i do want to point out is the build quality is excellent and as you would expect with the form factor it's particularly ergonomic and comfortable to both carry around and fire.

The main Zinc Alloy chassis is black and the colour choice refers to the padded leather spine which comes in either Carbon, Desert Brown, Navy Blue, Ultra Pink or Jet Black, this is fixed in place by a bracket which will also differ in colour depending on the chosen colour of the spine.

The front plastic panel is also the fire bar which needs pressing towards the top, the fire bar has both an integrated screen and horizontal navigational rocker. Below the fire bar we have a type C USB port and on the neck at the rear of the device an adjustable airflow lever as seen on other devices such as the Drag X!

The Pod/Tank is rounded and protrudes from the top pod bay, the pod is glass and has a removable 510 drip tip allowing your own to be fitted, the pod will be covered in more detail in a different section!

What You Receive?

You receive the Sensis pod mod with a 3.1ml capacity pod/tank which in my case being the TPD version unfortunately has a silicone capacity reducer fitted making it 2ml. The Sensis comes pre-installed with a RDL 510 drip tip and 0.25ohm coil.

You also receive a manual, MTL 510 drip tip, 0.65ohm MTL coil, spare O-rings, 510 adaptor and Type C quick charge cable!

___________________________________________________________________

The Pod

The Pod for the Sensis is rounded like we saw with the Voopoo Drag X and similar pod mods but is smaller and made of glass which gives it a better quality feel and look. At the top we also have a metal standard 510 fitting which is another improvement compared to other pod/tanks of this style and included is both RDL and MTL drip tips, the drip tips are perfectly ok but just not what i would go for personally especially where the MTL is concerned as i prefer very narrow long MTL drip tips, but no problem i just fitted one of my own! What is good about this style of pod/tank is most of it protrudes outside the pods bay and you get 360 degree visibility of your e-juice!

Looking at it's circular base we have 3 evenly placed strong magnets and a silicone bung, again a design we have seen many times. The bung has a flap which is easy to lift to pull the bung out revealing a very generous fill port plenty big enough for a quick, mess free fill.

Once the coil base is fitted to the coil head it just gets press fitted into the pod as is the case with most of these pod mod pods/tanks!

___________________________________________________________________

Fitting The Pod

The Pod bay again utilises the design first seen on the Drag X and used many times since. The bottom of the bay only has the round central section visible with the rest of the floor which leads to the airflow mechanism being obscured by the perimeter having an upper metallic shelf for the pod magnets to attract too. Looking at the bottom of the bay we have a raised central positive and outer raised negative spring loaded contacts which look to have a silicone seal.

The pod snaps into place and fits very securely, the dual negatives and metallic surround shelf design means the pod can be fitted without it needing to be lined up a certain way, no wonder we see it time and time again because it's a very good design!

___________________________________________________________________

Included 510 Adaptor

To allow the use of normal 510 threaded tanks also included is a sturdy 510 adaptor that fits in position securely apart from it rotates which is one of the very few cons i have. It works fine and i could enjoy using my favourite RTA's on the Sensis but you need to fit the tank onto the adaptor first and then fit in place else as the tank is turned to secure the adaptor just turns with it.

It also means adjusting airflow while attached is almost impossible and even unscrewing a top-cap to fill becomes a chore as you battle the adaptor which just wants to turn with the tank. It means that airflow adjustments need making before attaching and i found just pulling the tank with adaptor out of the Sensis before filling was easiest but once in use it works well!

___________________________________________________________________

The Coils

Pre-installed we have the 0.25ohm Kanthal Mesh with Seaweed Fibre Cotton S-Coil which is rated between 25w - 35w, also included for a medium to loose MTL is the 0.65ohm Kanthal Sceptre Coil which is rated between 9w - 12w.

Also compatible and sent for me to try are the other Sceptre coils which are the 1.2ohm NI-CR MTL rated between 8w - 9.5w and the 0.5ohm Kanthal Mesh RDL coil rated between 18w - 20w.

For the coil to extend down to the positive and negative contacts a coil base section first needs fitting to the base of the coil which is easy enough and then just press fit the coil assembly into the bottom of the pod and fill!

___________________________________________________________________

The Airflow

For such an innovative device there is a lot copied from the Drag X as it seems with the adjustable lever toward the top of the rear of the device. Although it looks the same the side vents on the Sensis look to be for internal venting and nothing to do with airflow, the airflow on this is much simpler, the lever slot is the airflow slot rather than a control to adjust two other slots.

Simply move the lever to the right to increase the airflow and move to the left to decrease airflow. Being just one slot means the Sensis gives less air than can be achieved with the Drag X but that suits the device and available coils being only 40W max and much more suited to RDL and MTL vaping, it also gives less air leakage so airflow adjustment i found worked much better than on the Drag X!

___________________________________________________________________

Battery and Charging

The Sensis has an in-built 3000mAh battery and while charging good feedback is given, it also allows for passthrough vaping which for those with just this device available will find handy. The device has a Type C USB connection and supports a 1.7A charge rate so the device can charge both quickly and safely!

___________________________________________________________________

The Display

The Sensis display gives plenty of info although some of the lower font might be a little hard to read for those with not great eyesight, after saying that it's bright, sharp and uses colour sparingly which i find pleasing to the eye!

Top left we have the mode which will be W (normal variable wattage), V (Normal Variable Voltage), F0 (Find your frequency mode), or W+, V+ (wattage or voltage when using Coil +), top right we have the battery status bar.

Underneath the information given we have the wattage or Voltage depending which mode you are in. The lower section of the display shows to the left vape time followed by your puff count and to the right we have resistance followed by bottom right the voltage which instead will display wattage in voltage modes or the frequency when using F0!

___________________________________________________________________

Operating The Sensis

The Sensis is 3 clicks of the fire button to turn on and pressing fire and right together locks the navigational rocker but the device will still fire, when locked a padlock will appear under the mode and fire and right again unlocks. Pressing fire and left together brings up a screen showing the voltage on the battery, resistance of the coil and puff count, it also has an option to reset the puffs!

To enter the main menu is pressing both sides of the navigational rocker together which when you first get the device brings up Power, Coil+, Refresh, Locked F0 feature, Settings and Exit.

Selecting the F0 mode brings up were you need to enter a code to unlock which is "++-+-+ and then fire", now the new mode appears at the top of the menu list!

When selecting F0 it allows you to select an AC frequency which is something you can just play around with to find the best for different coil and juice combinations, for now i have just set it to 75hertz, there is also a Find F group on Facebook where people can discuss which frequency they find best for which coil which will be a good resource for some but i'm just the type who likes to find out over time for myself!

Selecting Power allows you to choose between Wattage or Voltage modes while selecting Coil+ also gives the option of running coil+ in either wattage or voltage. Refresh seems to be a more aggressive form of Coil+ which can be implemented manually whenever you feel your coil needs a bit of extra life injecting into it (flavour definitely improves after a refresh), this gives you the option of either a 4 or 8 second refresh!

Selecting Settings brings up the following options, Op,Screen, Timeout, Cutoff, Device ID, Reset, Exit. These settings don't need to be explained as they are standard seen on most devices but the Op, Screen allows you to change from the default Pro working screen to a more minimalistic display which doesn't give information like puffs etc although it still keeps a count and you can check puffs as explained earlier by pressing fire and left together. Finally to change the wattage you have to hold down either the right or left side of the rocker for a couple of seconds which will cause the wattage to flash, it can now be adjusted in 0.5w increments from 6w up to 40W. Below the new modes and features are explained!

___________________________________________________________________

Coil +

The Coil+ mode is a new feature you can activate which automatically primes the coil at the end of each puff by drawing in more liquid and reducing carbon on the coil. Coil+ does this by running at 40% of your selected wattage for 0.4s at the end of each vape.

___________________________________________________________________

Refresh

Refresh is a new feature that allows you to manually refresh the coil between hits to provide better wicking, bringing in flavour to extend the coils life. Like Coil+, Refresh does this by running at 40% of your set wattage, drawing in more liquid.

___________________________________________________________________

Find Your Frequency (FØ)

FØ uses alternating current (AC) to produce a waveform that runs continuously while you vape. This is possible by sending an electrical output in a much more precise and efficient way through the coil.

You can adjust the hertz output to match your coil and e-liquid. When properly matched to your atomizer, FØ will extend coil life, provide smoother heat transfer, and even enhance specific flavors in e-liquid. AC will heat your e-liquid at a gradual rate, ensuring that it does not burn and produce a bad taste, so many of us have experienced.

(Disclaimer: After testing the device i really couldn't see how i could explain the new technology any better than Innokin themselves so the above information was a copy and paste from their website)

___________________________________________________________________

My Experience Using The Sensis And Thoughts!

I absolutely have been loving this device and the new technology, in my opinion the Sensis is head and shoulders above any other pod mod i have used, the flavour from all 4 coils is superior to any of the Voopoo PnP or Vaporesso GTX coils and it's no gimmick the new technology works giving incredible coil life!

Like anything though it's not perfect and although it's entirely subjective i would of course much prefer to be able to swap out the battery, after saying that the battery life is very good lasting over a day with the MTL coils at 10W and 9W and even with the 0.25ohm coil at 25w it lasted almost a full day and charging is quick while also supporting passthrough!

The supplied drip tips are just not to my liking personally but then a pro that it's a standard 510 fitting so you can fit your favourite, also the biggest con is the 510 adaptor. It slots in place nicely and looks the business, tanks perform perfectly ok but the fact that it rotates when turning the tank means you can't adjust airflow and even filling is a chore with the tank attached.

I like the glass pod/tank it just looks really good quality and maybe being glass is also contributing to the great flavour i have been getting, yes i also prefer top-fill but filling via the bottom port is quick and mess free and also you get great visibility of your juice level at all times.

The airflow adjustment works very well allowing depending which coil is used anything form a semi restrictive direct lung draw through to a medium tight MTL, which is a much tighter MTL than other similar devices allow for.

I know someone who got over 3.500 puffs from just one coil and reading posts on the Find F Facebook page it seems people are getting anything from 3000 to 5000 puffs from just one coil showing the technology works and i am far from on my own finding the flavour from all coils quite outstanding with the 0.25ohm coil possibly having the edge.

I myself stuck to the one coil for a long time which was the 0.65ohm coil at 10W, i used it with Coil+ for a while before setting up F0 mode at 75hertz and doing a 4 second refresh every 300 puffs. I got to 3.650 puffs and have saved the coil because it still has plenty of life but i needed to crack on and test out the other three coils for performance and flavour.

Finally i have suffered zero leaking and have just got the occasional spots of condensation which is that slight it's hardly worth mentioning! To sum up i am a very happy camper!

Geekvape z max review

I received z max from Geekvape for the purpose of this review.

Geekvape z max tank colors:

- Gunmetal
- Black
- SS
- Gold
- Blue
- Rainbow

l4Dluj9.jpg

Specifications:

- E-juice Capacity: 4ml/2ml
- Filling Type: Top filling
- Diameter: 26mm
- Drip Tip: 810 drip tip
- Coil: GeekVape M 0.14ohm and 0.2ohm coils (included)
- Coil Compatibility: GeekVape M series coil

In the box:

1* GeekVape Z Max Tank (4ml)
1* GeekVape M Series Coil 0.14ohm (60-80W, pre-installed)
1* GeekVape M Series Coil 0.2ohm (70-85W, spare Coil)
1* Spare Glass Tube
1* Spare Parts Pack
1* Spare Parts Pack
1* Drip Tip

iCqsCrm.jpg

Z max sub ohm atomizer is 26mm in diameter and in the package with this atomizer you will receive spare bubble tank, two coils and spare drip tip which is really good. Build quality of the atomizer is really good, everything is as it should be. On the atomizer you can see some details, you can see engravings on the top cap and on the base so you can easily grab each and on the top cap you can also see two engravings "Geekvape", on the chamber you can see logo.

KGeJDuR.jpg

You will receive this atomizer with 810 drip tip preinstalled which is good because you can use any other 810 drip tip here if you want. In the package you will receive one extra 810 drip tip which is good. We have top fill system here and you need a quarter turn to take off the top cap. When you take top cap off you can see two big fill holes and you can really easy fill the tank, in my opinion best top fill system.

N3rrBmD.jpg

This is a top airflow atomizer. Many people like top airflow atomizer because it can't leak. Under the top cap you can see the airflow control ring and it stays here because of o ring which means that you can take it off if you want and clean atomizer. You can see here two airflow slots, you can adjust the airflow easy and what you adjust on one side it will be the same on the another side.
Capacity of the bubble glass tank is 4ml which is okay capacity and for many it will be good. With this atomizer you will receive spare bubble glass tank but also you can choose the version with regular glass tank and 2ml capacity if you want that.

bDf8p35.jpg

On this atomizer you can replace the coil from the bottom of the tank, you need to unscrew the base and then you can just take off the coil simple and fast. With this atomizer you will receive two coils, one in the atomizer and one in the package. The coil that you will receive preinstalled is mesh coil with 0.14ohm resistance and recommended power for this coil is 60-80w. The coil that you will receive in the package is triple mesh coil and resistance of this coil is 0.2ohm, recommended power for this coil is 70-85w. This atomizer is compatible with M coils.

cMeuizH.jpg

1x11miL.jpg

My thoughts:

So build quality of the atomizer is very good and everything is as it should be. Package is also okay because you will receive spare tank, two coils and two drip tips. Top fill system works really good and in my opinion this is the best top fill system. Airflow from top also works great, it can't leak and you can adjust the airflow very easy. You can replace the coil from the bottom and you can do it really fast. I tried here both coils and in my opinion triple mesh coil is better, flavor is very good. Vapor production is also very good since this coils work at high power. I personally like to close airflow a bit to make it restrictive. Geekvape z max is very solid sub ohm tank, it works as supposed to and there is nothing to complain about this atomizer.

Cons:

- Nothing important to pick

Pros:

- Good build quality
- Two drip tips
- Easy to fill
- Easy to replace the coil
- Good flavor
- Top airflow, leakproof
- 4ml capacity

Thanks Geekvape
