Hi there:) 7 year vapor, need recomendations for tank.

Hi there:)
I need recommendations for a tank & this seems like a really good forum for that.

I live in Denmark & think pretty much every tank is available to me. Prices aren't that high, so it fitting my needs closest is more important.

What I need;

  • Top fill, minimum of 60 Watt, between 0.1-0.5 ohm.
    100% leak proof, also for laying horizontally.
    I can't handle a metal drip tip. If it is metal, need there to be a replacement drip tip available for purchase that fits.

  • Bottom must be screwed on - I almost bought the Aspire Cleito but turns out the bottom is just sliding down a piece of rubber.
    It will come off rather sooner than later, I'll pull it up from my pocket mainly by the tank.
I had the Aspire Nautilus. What was so awesome about it, the top was a screw on slide fill! It's just not powerful enough.

I really need some help, thank you:)

Toilet fishing, anyone?

Well , it happened. Went in the bathroom, set my Dovpo VV by the sink. Bumped it and it fell. The mod bounced and landed in the trashcan but the battery door landed...you guessed it...in the toilet. And with a short string of creative profanities, I took the plunge. Retrieved the panel . I'm very happy it was just the panel and not the mod. Still not happy about having to stick my hand in the toilet though.

Digiflavor Drop V1.5 RDA 24mmBy Geek Vape Review

1.jpg

Digiflavor Drop RDA V1.5 24mm

When I received the package from the courier I did not expect a very large package, I was in fact waiting for the Drop RDA V1.5 24mm, but the pleasant surprise was to find two more new Digiflavor branded items that I will discuss later in agreement with Shenzhen GeekVape Technology Co., Ltd.
Enjoy the reading.

Package contents:

1 x Drop V1.5 RDA
2 x N80 Fused Clapton Coil 28ga * 3 + 40ga Ø3mm of 0.4Ω Nichrome.
2 x Cotton laces
5 x Spare O'ring
4 x Spare screws
1 x Pin BF
1 x Triangular tool

2.jpg

Characteristics declared:
* Construction materials: Steel, aluminum
* Size: 24x42mm
* Weight: 50gr
* Rebuildable Double / Single Coil Deck
* Drop system, easy to regenerate and cut the coil legs
* Support DL and RDL vaping
* Multi-slot airflow control
* Drip Tip 810
* Compatible with squonk mod via BF pin

3.jpg

Currently Digiflavor Drop RDA V1.5 24mm is offered in eight different color combinations.
Available colours:

4.jpg

I received the Black / Blue version of the RDA V1.5 24mm for this test and the first thought was to install it on my black Aegis Squonk for an excellent aesthetic result in my opinion.
Aegis squonk is a small and comfortable Mod, with its single 18650 cell it manages regenerated RDAs in single coil, but also in dual coil if you are satisfied with the limited autonomy at high wattages, however to manage the Drop RDA V1.5 24mm beyond i 40 / 50W it would be better to use a device with dual 18650 cells, so I did other tests with different Mods to which the Drop always matches in a pleasant way.

5.jpg

Digiflavor Drop RDA V1.5 regenerable with single or double coil, has a diameter of 24mm, has a multi-airslot AFC with rectangular windows arranged vertically on the sleeve to regulate a myriad of holes made on the bell below.
With so many adjustments Drop RDA V1.5 is suitable for both DL and RDL vaping.
Compared to its predecessor (Drop V1) we therefore find a redesigned AFC system, while the deck maintains the classic DROP bridge with four large holes above four uprights that are gold-plated for better conductivity.

6.jpg

The plastic Drip-Tip is held by an O'ring positioned inside the Top-Cap (bell). The Top-Cap made of aluminum has the task of dissipating the heat and regulating the flow of air by rotation, on the upper part several "teeth" with a helical texture have been made that resemble those of a gear, this design in addition to being beautiful makes it much easier to grip.

7.jpg

A large o'ring at the top allows the bell to rotate smoothly during the AFC adjustment phase, on the bell there are several openings for the passage of air, on this surface we find a total of 72 holes of Ø0.8mm and two slots of 2x6mm.
Starting from the top on each of the two sides we find these openings arranged in 4 rows positioned at different heights, the first row at the top has 4 holes, the second row 8, the third row 12 and the fourth and last row has 12 plus the 2x6mm slot.

8.jpg

The internal part of the Top-Cap (bell) measures 20mm in width and 18mm in depth, the upper vertex has a rather pronounced tapered area.

9.jpg

The newly designed outer sleeve has 4 slots arranged vertically to effectively adjust the height, width and side the air flow directed towards the coils.

With rotation from right to left, the AFC combinations allow these many variations:
- A vertical row of 4 holes (+ 4 holes)
- Two vertical rows of 8 holes (+ 8 holes)
- Three vertical rows of 12 holes (+ 12 holes)
- Four vertical rows of 16 holes (+ 16 holes)
- Three holes at the top of the first slot + 12 holes below (x2)
- Two holes at the top of the first slot + 12 holes below (x2)
- One hole at the top of the first slot + 12 holes below (x2)
- No holes on the first slot + 12 holes below (x2)
- Three holes at the top of the second slot + 8 holes below (x2)
- Two holes at the top of the second slot + 8 holes below (x2)
- One hole at the top of the second slot + 8 holes below (x2)
- No holes on the first and second slots + 8 holes below (x2)
- Three holes on the third slot + 4 holes below (x2)
- Two holes on the third slot + 4 holes below (x2)
- One hole on the third slot + 4 holes below (x2)
- No holes on the first, second and third slots, Buttonhole (+ Buttonhole) at the bottom fully adjustable (x2).

For over 9 years, I've always found great info on here...

Hi folks,
I finally quit smoking around a decade ago. This site is partly responsible because I read some good e-liquid suggestions and finally found one that I've used ever since. Problem is, I've been ordering it from a shop that's about 600 miles away and I don't want to have to drive there to get it. I'm hoping to find some good suggestions for DIY. I really don't want to start smoking again. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Vaporesso gen puff counter

Hello peeps...

Soo I updated the vaporesso gen mod with the the latest firmware available and btw its the same as the Gen s for obvious reasons lol....and it's the Gen s ver 1.00 20200608

The thing is that one of the changes is the puff counter that is now just called puff in the menu and it's visible in the main screen also which is nice....

The thing is that in the menu now it looks like this...
IMG_20210404_205950~2.jpg

See the the 7 different numbered thingys?
Each one can record up to 999puffs and when I saw it I thought that it was like that so u can choose which number u want and then record the puffs there so that u keep different records of puffs.....OR that is just this way and when reaches 999puffs it switches to next number counter until all is full...

The thing is that no matter what I do it doesn't seem u can choose any of those numbers even tho the pointer scrolls to each of them....
on the main screen shows always the number of all puffs combined and I can't see the point of this...lol
But inside this numbered puff menu u can see it randomly switches to different numbered counters and records at those like from number 2 to 1 and then to 2 again and then to 3 without any of those go full...I can't figure out what is going on...I tried many things in an attempt to see what is making it change but can't figure it out...

So if anyone knows how this thing works pls tell me cause ok I know it's not the most important thing lol but it drives me crazyyyyyyyyy not to know how it works lol

In search of a Wismec Reuleaux RX2/3 TC Mod

Hey guys, in search for the Wismec Reuleaux RX2/3 TC Mod 150W/200W with the 2/3 Cells mod. My first color choice is the all black one and my 2nd choice is the silver/gray colored. I was going to buy both colors last night off the net for $85.00 dollars. The took my payment then today they cancelled my order and refunded my money because of the stupid ... PACT ACT!

I'd like to get one new if possible but will take a lightly used one if need be?

I tried to get one off the net but I was a day late past the stupid PACT ACT (which is ridiculously) and they cancelled my order because they could not ship it to me! Grrrrrr!

I hope someone can help me out. Pretty please? I can show you my id if need be, I'm 49 years old I promise you.

Thanks

Closed/Sold Dvarv DL clone pref FL

Before I take a trip to FastTech and take that chance was just wondering if anyone happens to have one of these clones collecting dust. I prefer the one that has the ledges on the clamps or the FL version as it's called. I'm a restricted direct lung vaper mostly. Will probably head to FastTech soon but thought I should try here so as not to have the nail biting wait just in case anyone purchased too many of them or something like that.

VOOPOO VINCI POD KIT REVIEWED BY BIGBOB2322

Hello again and welcome back for today's review of the Vinci Pod Kit by Voopoo. This newest addition in the Vinci line is a very simple and easy device, so simple that there isn't even a button on the device that you have to operate. The Vinci Pod uses a auto draw method to inhale and has airflow selection using a cover to tighten down the vape to a very tight MTL vape. I guess some people might be able to vape it in a very tight RDL mode but I feel this is a MTL pod system. Let's get to know the Vinci Pod a little bit prior to the review.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Opening the box you are greeted with another box that the Vinci sits in on top of a form fitted cut out, inside that box is your type-c charge cord and user manual. The pod is already installed on the device and has a protective sticker on the contacts to prevent a accidental firing of the device. Voopoo only supplies 1 pod with this kit. Branding is done well with Vinci on one side with Gene barely visible below at the bottom and Voopoo on the other side .
20210324_145426.jpg

The type-c charge port is located on the bottom of the device and in this case I really don't mind because the Vinci is a very thin device that tips over very easily if a table is bumped, corners are all rounded making it a very comfortable device to hold and operate.

20210324_145820.jpg

The 2ml pod itself uses 3 small air inlet holes in the bottom center between 2 contacts, remember to pull off the protective sticker after filling the pod and letting it sit for 5 or ten minutes to saturate the coil inside the pod. The coil inside the pod is 0.8Ω.

20210324_150117.jpg

The Vinci really has a nice auto draw to it and uses a slider to open or close the airflow selector, in the above picture the slider is just barely open. The picture below shows the slider fully open and as you can see this is more for MTL vaping.

20210324_145938.jpg

This is not the only airflow inlet though, on the other side is a very tiny pinhole that is also a airflow inlet hole. The Vinci can be really tightened up for people that enjoy a very tight MTL vape, just using the pinhole with the slider closed is even tighter than a cigarette draw.

20210331_134001.jpg

Inside the device where the pod clips in is where the auto draw control nozzle is, centered between the 2 contacts that connect to the pod. This is a very good auto draw system.

20210324_145645.jpg

Unfortunately when the coils lifespan is over you can't just change the coil , you must change the entire pod. Side fill is the filling method with a very large fillport that is mess free.
20210403_131900.jpg

On the side that has the Vinci name on it there is also Gene at the bottom, it's hard to see because it doesn't stand out until you vape the device, install the pod or are charging it, the Gene logo will light up. Voopoo uses a series of lights to tell you the percentage of battery strength that the device is at.

GREEN - 60-100%

20210403_083157.jpg

BLUE - 20-60%

20210403_072812.jpg

And when it turns red it's time to begin charging the device. The Vinci charges at 5v 1amp and takes about 1 hr and 20 min to fully charge. When charging the Gene indicator will light breathing on and off at whatever battery percentage it's at and turn a solid green when fully charged.

Using the Vinci has been so nice because the auto draw works as well as it does and the flavor is above average with this pod. Your not going to fog up a room but vapor production is fine, remember this is mainly a MTL device.

When you talk about simplicity the Vinci is it ( no buttons, on/off switch or even a display ) because none of them are needed with the Vinci's constant 15 watt output.

One thing that has improved while using is the airflow slider, when I first started using it the slider was tight making precise adjustments tough but once there all was good and the slider stayed where I put it. Airflow is smooth in any position with no whistle or funny sounds heard. I think that Voopoo did a great job with the Vinci Pod Kit and I will continue to use it.

PROS

* Lightweight

* Thin

* Very Good Flavor

* Great Auto Draw

* Clear Pod

* Smooth Airflow

* Type - C

CONS

* Airflow Selector ( Not Easy To Make Precise Adjustments )

I would like to thank Voopoo for providing the Vinci Pod Kit for the purpose of this review and I hope that this review helped anyone looking to purchase the Vinci Pod Kit. People in the tight MTL crowd are really going to like the Vinci Pod Kit. The Vinci is so minimalistic in design that there really isn't much to cover except how well it works.

THANK YOU

Questions any dvarws

So originally I was way too confused to even attempt to get one of these clones. And then one showed up on the classified and I missed out on it through my own fault and now I'm interested again. From what I see on FastTech there between $10 and $20 and while of course I would prefer that it actually get here It's not the end of the world if it doesn't at that price point. But I don't have the first clue on how to decipher what's what in the world of those things. I don't like really restricted mtl I like more of a restricted direct lung and options going both tighter and looser than that would be fabulous. If anyone who really likes those things and has tried a few of them could help me figure out which one's appropriate that would be great.a glass tank would be fabulous but the lemonade e-juice that is my all-day vape has never cracked a plastic tank and I use it with them all the time. The one with the little ledges the facelift version looks really nice I like that deck the best but I only see that with the mouth too long I think and then you can't get the top tank I'm just all around completely flummoxed

Scrutinized | Bloomberg’s War on Vaping Pt. 3

“Show yourself and your conflicts” is the call from Dr. Roberto Sussman, an advocate for consumers of non-combustible nicotine products in Mexico and Latin America, to the billionaire philanthropist, and anti-vaping crusader, Michael Bloomberg.

Dr. Sussman says it’s time to unmask the motivations behind Bloomberg’s abstinence-only, prohibitionist stance on low-risk nicotine products and expose his paternalistic, anti-democratic treatment of low and middle-income countries.

UK Parliamentary Inquiry Challenges WHO's Anti-Vaping Stance

"A parliamentary study group in the United Kingdom has called on the British government and health authorities to challenge the World Health Organization (WHO) position on vaping at an upcoming international treaty conference. The UK is the largest and most prominent country to advocate for vaping as a harm reduction tool for people who smoke, but until now has not pressed the WHO to change its prohibitionist stance........"

"Indeed, it will be nearly impossible to move the FCTC Secretariat from its current stance, which is wedded to the positions of the Bloomberg-funded tobacco control groups that have controlled it for years. The UK would have to bring other large countries to its point of view in order to convince the FCTC to shift toward vaping and harm reduction........."
