A local tv station is doing an expose' on the dangers of vaping. On today's news, e-liquid from all over the country was analyzed to find out the actual ingredients. I thought, and now I know why I don't get paid to think, it was conventional type e-liquid. It was cannabis/THC liquid that was analyzed, but the station still passed it off as vaping. I was going to post a link to the story, but when I went to the tv station site, there was no mention of it that I saw. For those who are better internet sleuths than I am, just search for WLKY and see if you can find the story.

Hello again, i appreciate the help of you all last post i made but i seem to have run into another issue. I am enjoying the variety of flavors that a refillable pod system is allowing however i may need to find another way... It seems the coils are either burning out too quickly or i'm doing something wrong. It can be very difficult to determine whether or not my coil is actually done for, or my taste buds are just fooling me. Is there any clear way to tell or further health risks possible from not noticing it soon enough? or should i find another way besides pods as I've heard of systems that don't use pods and instead rely on replacing the coil itself. So what does the # of wraps indicator bar in steam engine signify. It seems that the more wraps that are calculated, the longer the indicator becomes and will, at some point, turn from green to yellow (but I've never seen it turn red).

What is it signifying? Is it just trying to tell you, "Hey dude, that coil is way too long for any atomizer!", or is it saying something else. The site doesn't mention it.

Hi. New here, and a noob to pods. Have always been an inokin person for years, but stopped vaping for a few years, due to my mod (MVP 3.0 pro) not charging after being run over by a logging truck. Still worked perfectly for almost a year after that, but I digress. A lot of things changed, and I ended up purchasing a smok rpm 160 pod system. Had it for less than a week and had zero complaints until today. It's really hot, so didn't want to leave my vape in my car, so cut it off and put it in my pocket while grocery shopping. Cue standing in the check out, and all of a sudden, I started smelling something like my juice. Then, go to turn around and realized my pocket is bellowing smoke, and smoldering. My pod was melting and burning my pocket! I've heard of stuff like this, but I've never had it happen before. Evidently, my pod got turned on, and the safety shut off didn't work. Has anyone ever heard of this happening before? Luckily, the place I got it from replaced the pod, coil, and made sure that it was working properly. I thought it was supposed to have a safety shut off to prevent it from burning if it is triggered for too long?? Did they stop doing this, or do I need to further alert smok to this issue? Just super glad that I was wearing denim instead of my usual lounge pants, and got nothing more than a red mark on my bottom and a bit of melted plastic on my pocket. It was just very terrifying and wouldn't want it to happen to anyone else.

How the Vaporesso Barr is built:

When I opened the Barr box I honestly didn't expect much, after all it's just a 350mAh battery.
But I must admit that this device is very discreet and pocket-sized, it could interest a certain range of people who love discretion, do not want to appear too much and do not vape compulsively. Does anyone else have an issue with the newer replacement pods for the SMOK Novo 2? I am getting about one per pack that is cloudy when filled, or in one case cloudy looking at the base prior to use. The first time it occurred it was in a pod that was end of life so I just figured it was a side effect of it being almost done...now I am having the same issue with new ones. The cloudy pods also have an issue with being crackly when inhaling as if liquid has leaked somewhere in the device, but extensive cleaning reveals no leaks or liquid at connection points. Anyone else seen this problems??

I have hellvape me RTA and I had some flooding problems and I checked the top fill seal I love the topfill and check it with my mouth and I see that it's not sealing perfectly.... The rubber seal seems to not make perfect contact and I wonder could this cause flooding problems when I leave my vape without using it??? It draw air into the juice chamber??? Also someone here on a thread mention he had 2 hellvapes and when he swap the topfill parts with each other his vape don't leak....should we have perfect seal at the top fill mechanism???

So a major online vape seller just went out of business and was liquidating all stock. I bought some 65/35 ratio juice which works fine in my Novo 2.
But he had a bunch of 80/20 high vg juice and he was practically giving it away, so even though I read this might be too high vg for a pod system, thought I might gamble on it because I also read if you use the right mesh pod it will work. And also realized that food grade pg is available cheap and if worse came to worse could always cut the juice with some added propylene glycol.
At any rate can I vape the 80/20 in a Novo pod and if so do I need a special pod resistance, or will they all work?

I don't know what most of the abbreviations even are.

I used Nature's Flavors (ethyl alcohol based) a lot but they're un-vape-able to me, disgusting, so harsh like battery acid or something, didn't matter how long I steeped them either. Maybe because I was using cloud tanks then though and not MTL really anymore. I have a bunch of MTL tanks coming soon though but some cloud ones too.

Real Flavors are VG-base, the company is gone now but some websites still carry their flavors but they get bad reviews saying you can't even taste anything. But I'm ordering some RF, but even if I like it, once they're sold out it might be gone.

I think I want to just stick with Flavorless %100 VG ~5mg anyway but still want Some flavor options.

I'll also try DIY extract coffee, cinnamon, and tobacco etc but who know's how that'll go.

The PG stuff I tried was mostly Flavor West and I find it un-vape-able too, some capellas, some randoms here and there. I think MTL tanks make PG less harsh though but still would like the option of cloud vaping sometimes.


I really like smooth vapor, I used to really enjoy ECBlend (premade juice) has an organic line %100 VG ethyl alcohol and for some reason it was very smooth even at 18mg. Then I tried the Nature's Flavors ethyl alcohol concentrates and it's the complete opposite in smoothness even if 0mg vs 18mg.
I don't know if ECB masks the harshness with citric acid or some secrete steeping method or something, and I tried getting ECB to hint where their flavors are from but I don't know. ECB's description is basically a copy paste of NF's but I really don't think it's the same flavors.
Anyway I think maybe because of cloud tanks I got sick of the ECB stuff, tasted too heavy/sweet after a while and preferred flavorless instead, however, still, ECB with flavor and 18mg seems to be actually smoother than DIY flavorless %100VG with fresh 5mg nic from manyy different sources, or trying nic salts, and fresh VG.
Essentials Depot VG, which gets good reviews and I doubt one brand VG is smoother than the other, and many are actually the same manufacturer but I'll be ordering a different brand VG anyway tomorrow.


So I'm just looking for smooth ~5mg DIY vape, and it seems PG flavors aren't for me, although maybe they'll be ok in an MTL, but also I am sketched out by flavors possibly being unsafe and prefer Flavorless but still would like to have some options for Flavors.

I know 'natural' doesn't necessarily mean safer than man-made flavors but still it seems odd to me to vape man-made flavors. But mainly I just want to have some flavor options sometimes and hopefully organic and hopefully safe.

There's also to be noted how PG-free and %100 VG might not carry flavor well nor wick easily in a small MTL tank, and some people add distilled water or maybe even Vodka or everclear (190-proof grain alcohol AKA %95 alcohol) but I read maybe those are no good to use, maybe something about ethyl vs ethanol or something, I'll get to that later if needed, hopefully just a tad of distilled water makes it work better in an MTL and flavor level is good enough.


I tried Co2 flavors too (medicine flower AKA lotus flavors which the website seems to be different now and not sure if they even make vape-able flavors anymore, they're Co2 extracted from the actual titled flavor, so banana juice is from actual bananas, etc, but those were too harsh also and I don't think I'd buy them again.

any suggestions for other PG free options, or list the actual abbreviations above?
Or tips on just making a very smooth flavorless ~5mg %100 VG in regards to how I mentioned ECB seems to be oddly smooth even at 18mg compared to a fresh 5mg salt or 5mg conventional %100 VG?

So, Ive had my Nano for a few months now and it has been outside in my shed the past 2 nights in my bag. I went to take a hit a few minutes ago and nothing happened. No lights, no firing, nothing. I decided to plug it in to charge although it had been charging overnight and the green light came on for round about 10 seconds then went off. When i unplugged it it flashed redish orange. It let me take a hit but only one and the same thing happened. Will I need a new vape or is there a fix for this? It was only £10 so its not too mjuch of a loss just extremely annoying

I have question...I am gonna talk about rtas....soooo we got the air flow part of the tank when is the coil and that we suck air through it...and there is the juice part where holds the juice....and thing that seal the 2 spaces is the cotton....the juice reaches to the coil throught this capillary action I guess...I was thinking tho while we suck don't we create also vacuum and draw more juice if the airflow can't keep up with our draw?? And if that's correct then...this space that holds the juice should be sealed good so that it can't draw air lets say for example from the top fill cap and then push more juice into the coil cause it will have the atmospheric pressure?? Or maybe it's the opposite and the vacuum we create while we puff should get lose over time while we don't vape??? I am trying to get more understanding about how stuff works hope makes sense and someone can correct my mistakes and make things clear for me
