Speak for yourselfI could see it clearly. I guess even at my age, my eyesight is still pretty good.
Better yet, I took a photo... hang on... (time passes...)

Yes, but why in this case?
It takes care of this particular problem.
They aren't using standard threading, so they could go down that road, and then the top cap doesn't unscrew with the atty.
I'm just curious as to why they did it the way they did.
... Is there a cheaper tool out there than a penny?
I'd be willing to bet they made more than a few pre-P3 test run versions...

We are along way off from the production model, to many concerns at this point..![]()

I haven't seen anyone post anything about a release date...so I'm guessing it's conjecture.
I just can't figure out how his statement relates to the words of mine that he quoted...
All I said was, I'd be willing to bet that Provape made more than a few pre-P3 test models...as in, betas of the betas of the betas...
Do you have this from Provape or is this your opinion?

Just a tip for anyone ordering the V3.. Order the V2.5 extension cap and use it for 18500 & 18650 mode.
It takes 5mm off the length, get rid of a ring and is much nicer to use in the hand..also it looks better.
My satin silver colour matches the beta colour pretty good, but the finish on the V2.5 is slightly better ?!.. It's glossy .. Smoother to the touch.
Thanx for this tip buddy![]()
I mentioned that a couple pages back, but that's cool... he had a photo so I got one-upped.
"Also, the shop had a satin silver v2.5 extension cap, which had a noticeably different finish. Obviously both pieces were finished at very different times. Is using a v2.5 extension cap OK or not recommended? I noticed they're different heights when configured with all P3 parts vs v2.5 endcap."
