An important message for online sellers of vapor products:
If you do not have a third-party age verification system in place right now (*not* just a checkbox or affirmation, but an actual service), you really need to just stop selling immediately (or use the 'ID at delivery' service from USPS for customers over 21).
You may not know it, but you are at a real risk of harming the vapor industry, not to mention being on the receiving end of enforcement action by the FDA.
We know that the FDA wants to ban all online sales of vapor products. They tried to, but OMB rejected it, likely in part because the FDA couldn't present any real evidence of harms resulting from such sales. However, we also know that they plan to enforce the minor ban with online sales compliance checks.
If the FDA is able to quickly gather evidence that large numbers of vapor companies fail verification, they will try again, even before August 2018.
