Well, I'm really glad I have my two minis, but let me tell you, is was quite a painful struggle over here in NOT THE US. All the Provari stuff that was available was soooooo expensive. I finally found these two in some freakish sale where I guess they just wanted to clear out the last stock, and got them (with extension end caps) for 153.50€ (bronze) and 147.00€ (cherry red). Yep. *That* was the way cheap sales price. Otherwise they were like 250.00€ or something. Crazy. I still have some feelings about that. Also, no one tell my husband.

But I'm puffing my cherry red mini right now with a combo of Sugar Drizzle and Funfetti in an Amor tank, and it's lovely. I still feel sad that I didn't get a Radius, but same cost problem. I was hoping I might be able to do the same and find one marked down eventually, but it never happened and now they are all bye-bye. :(

The Provari got me off cigarettes. I use a REO now but I gave the Provari to my daughter who is still using it, happily. It got her off the cigarettes, too. It is several years old and sometimes was not gently treated; is still goes everyday all day.

Just two of my favorites (with "a few" more stocked for vapocalypse mode).

Yeah, they're old, outdated, under-powered, archaic, TOTALLY behind the times... and absolutely perfect. I use them every day (this pic was taken within the past month).

Oh, I've got other stuff, and plenty of it . But with the right topper, I still get a perfect vape, and perfect vaping experience from these, my "Elder statesmen". Go figure.

Provaris were the mods that sealed my fate as a vaper, so many moons ago. After 5-6 months of hit & miss, I knew I'd found gold at the first press of their amazing buttons.

I guess my oldest is...jeez...5+ years old now. Like the legendary Energizer Bunny...(still going!).

In fact, that very first one still lives today (and I think it may be one of those that @Katdarling posted earlier). Regardless, it's still in use, and in a most excellent pair of hands. Better hers than mine (she takes much better care of stuff than I do).

Thank you, ProVape, for being my catalyst. You are and will be missed. Class acts, all around.

That's interesting and the first time I've seen that document. Does anyone know how the lawsuit ended or where it stands now. I Googled but it seems my Google-foo is weak today :(

Hi Ryedan, hope all is well! :) I'd really like to know too.

So, the provari is like the Subaru of mods? My husband keeps muttering about resale values every time he does costly repairs (I am in no way implying that provaris require costly repairs!)

Anna

Naw, more like a Land Rover with all the extras. Or a Timex or Samsonite. You can stick them through a hay bailer or run 'em over with a semi and they don't miss a beat.

I know this can be a heated subject so it's good to see everyone playing nice in a Provari thread ;)

I got into vaping *right before* Provape closed. I had told my husband that I wanted one and was saving for it when they closed. I was so sad! I've managed to buy 2 used Radius, er, Radii? I love them and wish I'd had the opportunity to buy whatever models and colors I want instead of just taking whatever I can get.

I vape low wattage though, so what they can provide meets my needs.

Haven't constructed any houses with them, don't have a hey bailer or gotten frustrated enough to run 'em over, so I guess they aren't even broken in yet. I always read them a short story and kiss them good night. I've raised them right but you never know how they'll turn out.

The majority of vapors vape low wattage.

Based on my experience running into/noticing fellow vapors out and about, on the job, etc, the most common setup I see even to this day is an ego/spinner with a ce5 atomizer.

What beauties! that gold one rocks! talk about eye candy. Love Love the one with a scull that is so cool. Dang i wish i would have had enough time to build a collection like some of you guys. I baby mine and why i don't know, hell a hummer could run it over and it would still work like a charm. These are made to last a long long time. Just so sad they closed shop

It's hand poured/crafted pewter, which gives it a little heft and pewter is malleable enough to be adjustable to various size mods. I found an artist on Etsy and out of New Jersey (i think) a couple of years ago. Think it was $35 back then.

Found it: This was the guy. Don't know if he still makes them though. For all I know, it may have been a "one off" piece. You'd have to email him ... by AristocraftPewter

These were his pics you could attach if you email him. He called it, "Skeleton mechanical mod stand holder Made in America" ...

Thank you! May be a little much at this point in time but it's definitely a keeper. Though, Halloween is rapidly approaching and with my glow in the dark driptip...
Thanks !!! ... think it does the "Zombie" ProVari justice LOL

I keep seeing ads for Provari tube mods in the hundreds of dollars !
Are they that good ?
They are only 20 W max mods.
If you are already using higher wattage and don't want to be limited to what you can build, It would be a serious downgrade. I just out grew the over priced provari only a few months of owning it.
