I saw a thread comparing the VARIO to a Provari, but I think many would agree this device will be a nice comparison to other Asian VV mods like the Lava-Tube and Vmax. I like it!

The single buttons and functions are almost exactly like the Provari. Also has 3amp limit. I think it would make a good backup for a Provari. I wonder how it handles voltage, more like a LT or Provari? It says PWM but I think they all use some form of it. If it puts out a steady voltage instead of 6v at a cycle, I'd be interested in one when price comes down. First thing I'd do is knock that shine off of it.

Cant wait to get my hands on the ZMAX.
In the vmax thread someone stated that have bought zmax and its on its way.
Wondering where I can buy one.
Any idea?

With a 3 amp limit, it's competition for the Lavatube but, not the Provari or the Vmax. A single button menu system means the lavatube wins. That's why I won't buy a Provari.
