Ah yeah there we go, awesome. Those look like 2.5 ID right? I think I'll build on the 3-post deck too, mostly because it's shorter and the last time I tried dual verticals on the velocity deck the top of my wicks were getting like tar black immediately, I think because they were soaking up cooked juice from the top of the chimney.

Thanks!

I heard if you put 1-2% Triacetin in your juice, the wick won't get gunked up. Will be trying it soon.

Been playing around with several builds on this V-deck. I think I dialed it into this, assuming all 4 air-holes open and slightly unscrewed deck so you can see through to the other hole on all sides:

DUAL vertical PARALLEL COILS

28 guage
0.5 ohms
3mm diameter
10 wraps
Comes out to 35.3 watts on ohm calc and 8.4 amps @ 4.2 volts

For just a little bit more heat:

DUAL vertical PARALLEL COILS

28 guage
0.4 ohms
3mm diameter
8 wraps
Comes out to 44 watts on ohm calc and 10.5 amps @ 4.2 volts

The wick does gunk-up on top, but that's inherent to vertical builds. I haven't noticed any flavor change from that though. Oh, and I chain vape.

Any recommendations for a warmer vape? I've got dual vertical 26g, 2.5 mm, 7 wrap coils and the flavor is a lot better, but not as warm as I'd like it. If I close off the airflow too much or turn up the wattage I get a slight burnt taste. Any suggestions appreciated.

Go lower in ohms and wire guage. You could also try building parallel duals with your 26 guage. And go for 3mm diameter, the velocity deck welcomes it, if you're doing verticals.

Looking to find online sites that have the Aromamizer - not many I could find. VaporDNA have them in stock for $44.99. Anyone know of other non-China sites that might have them for a lower price? I did see that SteamCrave will have them back in stock on Nov 5th with free shipping ($39.99 for just the Velocity Deck), so maybe I should just wait?

All over the place
So im having a strange issue...

My first build lasted awhile and was great for me. Just simple 6 wrap spaced 26g kanthal dual coil. It was airy when i first used it, as was expected, so i closed two holes, left the other two half open and threw an old PT drip tip on there for a nice 30-40w mtl. When i felt like a lung hit id just swap for a wide bore.

I decided to rebuild the other day so i made dual 9 wrap contact coils. When i took a drag, it was a pretty tight draw. Essentially now i need all four holes open with a wide bore tip and the thing is still a tighter draw then my first build. I figured it was my wicking with too much cotton possibly stuffing up the innards but less doesnt seem to help. I tried raising the coils, loweing them, pushing them closer to the posts and farther away, all to no avail.

Any thoughts?

Can wee take a looksie?

Just sent them an email expressing my dissatisfaction with this product. Not that I'm looking for a replacement or refund. Just put out by the way that the airflow doesn't hit you're basic coil build directly. Sure, I could grind the tank or do an O ring swap. But this shouldn't even be an issue. Imo, it's a poor design. I shouldn't have to unscrew the tank 1/4 of a turn to get a great Vape.

Holy crap. This "raise the coils to the top of the V-post" thing is...very promising. Just rebuilt, ended up ditching the quad coil idea, so I've just got simple 5/6 wrap 26/32 clapton, horizontal duals, except this time I raised them as high as I could—the midline of the coil is just about in line with the flat top of the deck posts, just high enough that I can't see the coils through the air holes any longer.

My wick isn't even broken in yet, and already the flavor is noticeably improved vs. previous builds when I positioned the coils either at the same height as the air holes, or about a mm higher. We'll see if that keeps up, or if it's just a momentary thing.

See the black line between the base and tank section, got to look or you will miss it.

Edit: in case your wondering I replaced the o-ring with a 20 x 1 mm o-ring to line up the air hole.

You do know the build deck unscrews and you can just screw it in tighter or a little looser to position the coils however you want. And just to add my two cents, I actually prefer the indirect airflow because the way it's angled, two holes end up crossing over the coil. I understand some people aren't happy with the air flow, but its such an easy fix without having to alter the tank or unscrew the bottom. Just try unscrewing the build deck slightly and you can position the coils however you'd like..

Went to a horizontal build 3mm 6 wraps 26 a1. Still getting a little caramelized juice on the wicks. Seems to be from the way the vapor is whirling around in the chamber. Any one not having this problem? What's your build?

I rewick every week and my coils and wicks are nearly solid black every time from gunked up juice, but I've never had a tank that didn't do the same. I'm assuming that's what you mean by caramelized juice?

Not everyone is going to like every product. Variety is the spice of life. Its an authentic so you can sell it here in the classies. Maybe you would like a Bellus, MT or Crius better.

well we all see things different !
the way I think ..it makes this thing more versatile ! just build a quad coil and you will see the air flow is just right ..
hitting all coils . me I like single coils and have no problem turning the base a little to line up with any build I do .
let me know when you put it on ebay ...I can allways use a 4 th one !!
