Thanks Tedigram!

I'm placing my order with steam crave since they are providing free shipping and velocity pole as addon which suits me well.

One additional question that cross my mind, not that it affects me since im only using kanthal currently but would be good to know, does it require a different deck from the standard one if i were to use nickel/tc wires for coiling?
I'm using the v-deck oh the rdta for TC. No issues as long as the coils are spaced and resistance for each coil are the same.

All over the place
I am sure this has been mentioned here, but in using this tank today I thought to myself...why is this considered an RDTA and not something more like a auto bottom-fed tank or just simply rebuildable tank? Then I thought about the relatively wide chimney section and how it goes straight down to the coils. So I dripped through it with a different flavor than the one in the tank. Ha! Worked just like a dripper!!! LOL. I guess it actually is an RDTA. Kinda cool.

They should call it an RTA as many didn't look at it (at least at first) thinking it was like the Big Dripper or Pontus. I almost didn't myself. Then I did, and started the thread.

Got my second one in yesterday from Eciggity. In this one, the coils line up dead on. Put my "other" adv in it today and went through a tank and half. Performed spectacularly.
What's your serial #? Great that you got one that lines up! It must be random, I got my 2nd one from eciggity just the other day

Wrapped a 3mm coil, 11/10...didn't fit. I think I read somewhere that 3mmID is too big[emoji13]

Huge vapor and intense flavor. Got one dry coil warning which I didn't mind telling me TC mode is kicked in. The ipv4s will fire in Joules mode but still NOT be in TC mode. I have burnt wicks to prove it.

Overall pleased with this atty. Easy to build on the upper post holes. I screwed all the way down than had to back off less than half an inch to get airholes centered under coils. When I fire the mod, vapor flys out of the two airholes.
My only adjustment would be to raise my coils a few mm up. The airholes line up fairly high on the deck that's for sure. It didn't seem that way when I built it. Had a little airhole leakage when I started but all gone now. Going to watch the 2nd half of LeBron and Melo and smash this tank of Churios home. Thanks for all the posts and this thread as I am really not a tank guy. This baby is pretty tight.

This is the first time I used Tripper's video for anything other than entertainment.

Twisted 26 gauge Kanthal.
I like it.
Looks good. I don't think you need the top over wicking since you are not dripping the thing and it is taking up airflow space. One man's opinion. Those verticals will feed perfectly from the bottom. I would give them a bushy haircut above the coils and greatly increase your airflow. There is so litle room in that chamber to behin with. Rip gets most things right. That one he failed.
Are those 3mmIDs?

Air flow is much better than the horizontal claptons that I removed. While it doesn't wick from the top it still gives some reserve.
I used a 2.7 mm but it probably "sprung" out to about 3

I also noticed that by cutting off that "bridge" on top when doing verticals, airflow is improved.
Never had a dry hit.
