Anyone experience this since Wednesday?

I was placing an order with Mt Baker (from whom I've previously ordered) and the transaction came back denied as an invalid transaction. I called my bank and they said that as of 1/1/14, card processors are refusing to process orders for e-cigarette related products.

If this is the case and not just my bank jerking me around, this is huge.

I've placed 2 orders since Wednesday.

I don't need a bank telling me how I'm allowed to spend my money. If they insisted, I would switch banks the same day.

100% agree. Id love to know on what basis they can deem this transaction invalid. Would they rather i spend it on tobacco cigs and do some real damage to myself?

I'm trying to get answers from them. Surprisingly (ha ha) they're getting hard to get ahold of.

I bank with a credit union here in Louisville. What's funny is I ordered a battery and a clearo from another vendor with no issue…yet. I tried to place the Mt Baker order from the web and from the Mt Baker app.

Spazmelda, I haven't posted this anywhere but here so apparently this is happening to someone else too.

It isn't a big tobacco owned credit union is it? I wouldn't put it past them to block vaping purchases. Or it is a misguided credit union manager making decisions

go to Walmart and buy a visa gift card and see if that works then shop for a different CC provider (do not use debit cards online because you will generally not be protected against fraud)
