If you are researching and staying update with the findings...............you tell me which is better? not your friends or family members...YOU and your research and experiences. Let that be the final word. Is vaping a 100 percent healthy no, there are going to be things we need to readjust but compare it to everything a cig contains and then make your decision wisely.

I think there are definitely people who give vaping a bad rep, but thats pretty much with anything, there is always a few. pulling out 3 mods on a public outdoor patio seems a little extreme to me. huge clouds in public definately gives vapours a bad rep.

I wasn't even vaping on the patio! I was about to leave the patio and take my mods to a more remote area for a vape where there were no people, that's why my mods were on the table. I certainly do not think having three small mods on the large table for a few minutes would be considered extreme by any reasonable person.

Aren't planning on quitting? Wasn't planning on quitting cigs actually..

"I heard..." Follow the money. Many governments and large powerful companies stand lose a lot of it. And then there's the rabid media, perhaps the best example was the supposed boy in the balloon that interrupted TV a whole day.

"addiction" -- well a lot of things they talk about addiction nowadays, well you may like vaping a lot but you're putting fewer types and amounts of addictive chemicals into your body, and on route to even less, and any other kind of "addiction" is a far lesser category.

There is probably some cases where people are irritated by vaping. It was a sort of "bait and switch" to claim you could do it anywhere based on tiny devices, when most of us aren't using those anymore. Also the battle has already been mostly won against public smoking, I can see how those who thought that whole issue was over could be shocked to have to go through that again. But it's being sorted out, plus it's not as nasty as smoking except perhaps in trying to see ;) . It's reducing the number of nasty smokers, so non smoking, nonvaping people should see it as a win.

A very few may still not know what they are and think you're doing other stuff. I know when I first saw non-cigalike devices I kind of had to figure it out by elimination, but that was years ago.

I was sitting in my golf cart vaping at Walmart, and someone called the sheriff on me.
The sheriff showed up...turns out he was a vaper too. I schooled him on squonkers.
Wow! That beats me for sure...

Back in the '50s, my dad got me a fedora to wear to church. Later in life I liked pong and asteroids. But never got into energy drinks. Can I still play the game?

Funny thing is, I just got done with a round of medical test and seeing "ologists" Cardiologist and Pulmonologist. (yeah, getting old and parts are wearing out) Fully expected my own doc and the specialists and ologists to tell me to give up vaping. Not a one did. As a matter of fact, the Pulmonolgist congratulated me for giving up smoking 5 years ago.
Loved asteroids! That and defender were my 2 favs....I remember somewhere in the mid 80's I had my best game ever on asteroids on a vacation to NY city. I turned it over (forgot how many points that was) and kept going and couldn't be stopped, this was in the world's trades center, the first and last time I was ever in there.

Latest vaper I met? 65 year old that smoked his whole life and has had 3 heart attacks... Don't really know him well, he's lived across the street from my parents place for about 10 years now (I moved out about 20 years ago) he saw me vaping outside every time I'd visit and decided to get one himself after 50 years of smoking he finally quit...

    No fedora no douchebaggery.

Im closing in on 59 y/o Ive got over 3000 hrs play time on Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim.. didnt keep track of my time with the Diablo games ( probably 2000+ hrs) never wore hats, Monster and RedBull keep me alive ( really like the new Summer Edition)... and lets not forget the Skyrim Dragon symbol Tattoo on the left forearm... and if liking the Monty Pythons Killer Rabbit makes me a "dooch"... theres alot of people out there with a weird sense of reality... because Im normal ;)

and vaping is the best thing that works for getting away from the ciggies... which seems to make some people upset cuz it means Im gonna be around for quite a bit longer ;)

maybe its time to look into buying a hat :)

*Sigh* I wish people would stop saying this, already. "Natural and artificial flavors" is hardly a single ingredient. Unless you're just using unflavored with menthol or something, there are a lot more than "four ingredients" in your e-liquid.

hmmm VG, Nicotine, extract of Tobacco is what is in my DIYNETs ... okay your right its only 3 ingredients not 4 ;)
now if you are talking about different chemicals, then there are dozens or even thousands... and did you know "clean air" has over 300 different chemicals in it? and thats not even considering the "biologicals" that we inhale... everytime you snuggle your face into your pillow you breathe in all sorts of living beasties....

today is my 4 year vape-aversary. got my first kit (yes, a cig-a-like) in the mail on this day in 2013. the night before my kit arrived i smoked my last cigarette before going to bed. woke up the next day hoping the kit would arrive before withdrawals started kicking in. luckily it did and i haven't had a ciggie since.

after having been a 20 year smoker i didn't think it would be that smooth a transition for me. i thought maybe i'd vacillate between smoking and vaping for awhile, but nope, went straight to vaping only with no backsliding. :)

    Me too!

I've reached a point where I don't even grant the naysayers a response. If someone is genuinely interested, I will take the time to talk about it but people who want to talk down something they know next to nothing about don't deserve my time.

And I only wore my fedora when I was DJing.

I agree completely. There are people who are worth my dwindling time on earth and there are those who are not. I never wore a Fedora but I certainly like yours.

That's pretty much where I stand now. During my first year of vaping, I tried to educate every smoker and 'naysayer', but now I have few words for anybody except if they are 'genuinely interested'.

I truly don't care what people think about my vaping. I feel better, smell better, taste things better and my wife isn't complaining about my vaping like she did with my smoking. And you know what they say, happy wife happy life. So that's really all that matters to me. I just think it's interesting how many people don't know squat about vaping or the people who vape and spread the wrong information.

they can judge me all they want...it's only fair. I remember what I use to think about dudes who wore fanny packs....

I still feel like that. Does that make me a bad person?

As I've never been one to care about other people's judgements of me I extend the same to my vaping. My family does approve and that's the only opinion I need.
