Thanks for the tip but no change, just a dead screen. It might still fire - but I'm not interested in trying to use it with a dead screen if I can just get it replaced instead.
If you shorted it out, it will go in a status like yours. But it should come back to life as you plug it in a computer via usb

eleaf US claims to be just a distributor. They pointed me to eleaf world as the iSmoka manufacturers web site.

If you are only a distributor and not the manufacturer then why is this on your "about us" page?

I've had mine for 3 months and the fire button is becoming less and less sensitive. I have to apply fairly considerable pressure now for it to fire consistently and usually I will forget and it will stop firing to remind me. It doesn't seem like it will be too much longer before it stops firing completely, so I'm considering buying a backup device for if/when that occurs, rather than have to rely on mechs and drippers, which used to be my all day vapes, but sub ohm tanks have made me lazy.

Still no big issues with mine apart from the occasional (user error) switching between VV and VW, and on one occasion it reset itself to 5W - thought my coil had gone until I looked at the screen! I'm a complete convert on big battery mods with bottom coil tanks now, had a puff on my old iClear 16 on a ½ charged eGo battery and wondered how I ever enjoyed it at all! All my eGo style batteries, CE5 and iClear 16s have been consigned to the old vape kit drawer and I've got myself a MVP3.0 Pro for using in the house (it's a brick compared to the iStick 50 but works great) and as a backup to the iStick. I'm using the Aspire Nautilus with 1.8Ω BVCs at 12W for my daily vape (Virginia 18mg) and the Beyond Vape Silo with 1.6Ω BVCs at 15W for my evening vape (Coffee 11mg). For an occasional change I have the GS Air-M filled with 11mg 90% VG Mixed Berry and vape it at 20W - talk about clouds and flavour :) Sorted!

Awesome.. Well you know I broke my screen but it still worked.. Then it seemed I couldn't adjust the power any higher.. But I converted one of my buddies to vaping and he's been using it the last 2 weeks without issues.. The power is just right for him, and hes ordering his own mod now.

Anyone jumping in on the pre-order for the 100watt Istick???
Takes 2 18650, replacable....
39.99 with coupon code at vapenw (iStick100WOff)

Still using my replaced 50W, just not as often, store in glass container overnight( burn that!)
Still performing as expected.

I have moved on too...
Purchased a Sigelei 100W plus, but still use the 50w once in awhile.
Actually have moved my mom up to the 2 original 20's and she loves them.
They are performing for her perfectly with Aspire ets/bvc at 7.5w

I still love the size and feel in the hand of my 50w. I am on the fence about the 100w. I don't NEED it, but 39 bucks is nothing really considering all the junk I have spent money on and no longer use.

We have had more iStick 50w failures (and had to replace them at our cost) as any other battery/mod we have ever sold in our shop. I was so happy to start using the 50w when it first came out and now am so unhappy with this mod (and eLeaf's non response to warranty replacements) that we have stopped selling the 50w's completely.

I've had my 50w using the mutation v4 for 6 months now haven't had one problem UNTIL today. my battery has a charge about 3/4 charge i go to take a draw and the screen reads power low as if it is dead. so i plug it in to charge after a little while it hits fine then goes dead again its been happening all morning anyone else have this problem

I know it's not a laughin matter. You might try blowin it out with some compressed gas for cleanin electronics. I had a 30w that did that and the cleanin got it to stop but when it takes a notion it will autofire so it's still not right. Another one had a piece metal thread shorting in the 510 connector where it was originally threaded during manufacture. That was causing it to turn off.

What ohms are you running?

I'm gonna guess here..

You may have been pushing it too hard and the batteries can't handle the load anymore.

Like other shot batteries. The voltage is high enough to read 3/4 but as soon as amperage starts hitting the batteries they sag and die out quickly. Even temporarily and then say like 1/2 or 3/4 again.

So the batteries sound shot for your purposes, you may be able to run a lower amp load and get more use out of them.. Like less than 5 -6 amps.
