Oh well, mine just started auto-firing.
I'll try to fix it, but I wont buy any more iSticks anytime soon.

How long ago did you purchase it? Of the 3 my wife and I bought a few month's ago, 2 of them did the auto-fire thing.

It actually stopped doing it, but it's just a matter of time until it starts again. And who wants to carry around a mod like that, right?

Yep, Quite understandable. That's around when we got ours that failed. I've been watching to see if anything substantiated came out that the problem has been resolved. But I've not seen anything about updates to the iStick 50.

My wife has a Coolfire IV and an iStick 50 (this one still working fine). She'd like another iStick over the Coolfire just because the batt lasts longer but she's hesitant to buy another iStick 50. I can't really blame her ... it's still seems a gamble if it will last or go flakey.

I wouldn't look for any news that there is even a problem at all, much less a notification of a problem resolution, when they are so evasive that many iStick owners don't even realize the name of the manufacturer. The only news I have seen published is a statement that attempts to shift the blame to couterfeits :)

I think the chief reason we're not hearing about problems w/ them as much is because the popularity has declined (and that's likely do to the problems it can manifest).

I agree and probably why the prices are down so low everywhere iStick 50W by Eleaf $29.99 - $34.99
The TC40w will boost their sales though. I think the new 100w was a mistake. Vendors continue to portray eLeaf as a company instead of the brand name of iSmoka.

I'm waiting for the wife's 50w to finally die off. It'll prolly last a while though seeing as she only uses it when the VS is on charge and it's not subject to sub ohm. Mine couldn't handle the advertised ability it started struggling at .5 a month in. I was hanging out at my atf B&M last weekend and playing with the tc 40w. It seemed ok for a first time tc but I wasn't really impressed. You can only adjust the temp in tc that's it no watt or volt adjustment. The buttons were nice though....still just another ismoka product your mileage will vary.

Could also be a bad charging circuit? Its not worth buying batteries without knowing for sure so I'll cut my losses and move on. It did work great everyday for 4 months and it did take a couple drops on concrete so I'm not complaining.

iSmoka is the manufacturing company. eleaf is the name of one of it's manufactured products. eleafworld.com is the official iSmoka website. Joyetech has no relation with iSmoka.

Damn a lot of folks seem to have issues with it.
My mod has done some autofiring too.
Switch it off and the light stays on in the display.
Dropped it today. Later thought my atty had broken, the numbers run on the screen but nothing happens, tried another clearo and the same thing.
Actually glad i broke it. My istick 20 still works after almost a year and many drops later:vapor:
