Do you normally vape at 600F or is it underpowered?

I am using a Hohm Wrecker 151 TC device with a Crown tank set at 600 degrees @ 100 watts as my default rig the past week. I prefer a warm vape however at 600 degrees on this device auto controlling the voltage/wattage is was cool as cucumber with good flavor/cloud (I felt no pre-heat).

I did pop my Crown tank on the mod with the.25 SS coil just to see how the full 60 watts felt and that did not feel under powered. I did that just to see for myself how it did on a reference tank/coil I use all the time. Like you, I wanted to know. :)

So with the 60 can you adjust the wattage in temp mode or is it like the 40?

My TC 60W arrived today from Heaven Gift.

To answer your question, YES, you can adjust the wattage in the TC mode, either Ti or Ni.

I haven't tried it with a Ti or Ni yet, as I'm waiting for high output batteries to arrive (Monday). I did stick my Aspire Nautilus on it in the VW mode, and it performed better than the iStick 50W that I've been using.

A lot to learn, operation wise, but so far impressed. As to the weight, it's lighter than the iStick 50W, but weight is not an issue with me.

Build quality is excellent, on both the TC60W and the Melo 2. Can't wait for the batteries to get here and crank up the TC mode with a Ti coil.

Well, I guess I'm just not cut out for low ohm vaping. I've tried the titanium head and the nickel head, and it's just not for me.

I'm a lung hit person, and I can't find a setting that provides a good hit with the taste that I'm used to on my Nautilus. The vape is either very harsh, or a nothing vape with no vapor. I've turned the wattage and temperature setting every way but loose, and still cannot find any setting that is enjoyable.

And to top things off, when I went to disassemble the Melo 2 to clean it, the glass tube broke. I haven't seen any replacements available yet, so into the drawer it goes.

Fortunately the TC 60W can be used in the VW mode with the Nautilus.

Anybody have any feedback on this mod in temp mode. I have watched some reviews but they all seem to be first look type reviews. My local shop has these in stock so thinking of picking one up for work. I ordered an IPV D2 but the carrier seems to have lost it a few weeks ago so I am not holding my breath:)

Also bouht this Eleaf istick TC 60W from a online website called everzon.com,that is the full whole set, contains all the atomizers and related accessories,But maybe there is something wrong with the carrier,it is dalayed some days, not received now, probably it just very normal for more than 7 days to order such an item from overseas online webstore,;);),hold my breath to wait.

I usually choose epacket and pay the $2.50 up charge. Gets time in 2 weeks or less. This time they downgraded the shipping to singpost as they said there were delays with epacket. Took just over a month to get to Canada. If you didn't upgrade your shipping and are in Canada or the US you can expect about the same. My D2 showed up on Monday and I hope your istick finds you soon:)

I am interested in getting one of these Eleaf iStick TC60W mods, but on Fasttech, it is only in the pre-order phase.

On the Gearbest website, it says that it will ship after Oct 31 ... However, I have learned not to believe any of this unless I see it listed as "In Stock". Here is the Gearbest listing for this (cost is $35)
http://www.gearbest.com/temperature-control-mods/pp_241757.html

Anyone here ever actually order this yet, and get an actual shipping notification showing the device was actually in the mail?

Thanks,

Got one several days ago. Man, it eats batteries! High drain, top brand, etc& etc batteries. Best I can get out of one is half a day.

That is about all I get out of my two different single 18650 TC mods - ~1/2 a day or less. For true full day vaping I need to use a dual 18650 mod. (LG HG2's in all)

Same here. Either hot and harsh or no vapor, no taste, no nothing. Lowest temp setting is 200F. The heat level is ok, but the harshness is unforgivable.
I now only use it in wattage mode, guess I'm not a TC guy.

I was having the exact same problem, until today. On a whim I checked the coil in the Melo. My tank did not have either the nickel or tiainum coil in there. I did not know there even was such. I replaced what was there with the tiainum coil, adjusted the temp and wattage (see terrible tiny manual) and WOW! A huge difference. Now I get what the big deal about TC, this mod and tank are all about.
    No harshness, great cloud.

Got mine in today.. From Gearbest
I am still learning how to use Temp Control
    NiChrome 80 26 AWG 2.5 coil reading .08 Ohm
    Using Rayon in Lemo 2
Seems you can adjust Watts in Temp mode
While in temp mode Hold menu button and down
    Went from 60 W to 40 w 480 degrees
Way better than my 40 W istick

    Any suggestions?
    What settings are everybody using?
