After a fare with Subtank Plus I'm back to the safety of my lovely twins.
Ok, granted they aren't the fairest of ladies but they are reliable once you learn how to treat em.
1.9 ohm spaced from 28 might have been a bit too much for the clone though, the airflow cools the vape way too much for me liking, so might end up swiching parts between the original and the clone.
After stopping to hassle with less-than-95VG my leakingdays are over, and as a bonus for a lazy sod, didn't have to fiddle with me feeders, yea!
Might need to grab some high voltage powerhouses from Kamry, that tri battery 200 watt box ought to be enough to power my 1.9 coil.
So hows life on the flash line?

I just turned on Ari from Sweet Spot Vapors to the FeV. He is really enjoying it. Said he is getting a remarkable TH from the FeV vs other tanks. Same experience as me and others. I'm rather surprised how much stronger TH is in the FeV. I don't understand how it does it but I am loving it.

Well I ordered an FeV V3 (316 SS from Gearbest) last night with a Sigelei mini to put it on...
Another wait begins!

I'm about to pull the geardest trigger too, for the v3

Ive had the fev v2 for about a year. Its been my all day every day vape.. I've used mesh for most of that time but have learned how to make fiver work.

It has been performing great with the 1/16 coil, over tight rayon for feeders. A little fiddly to get them set by bending the end coils out a little to hold it in place..easier if you find a pair of tweezers, but once done its been great. ( the coil should be the full length of the ports.)

They've been very reliable and I get less over wicking problems. They've kept up to 45w. And also when the tank is dry I get bonus vapes from the feeders for quite a while if I don't chain vape.

I drilled the threads out of the v2 bringing it to about 2.4-2.5mm

My latest build is a 26g .9 on an istick 50w at 6-6.3v and 40-45w. Stellar vape!

I was thinking of posting here the last few days.. Good looking out.

If you're vaping a 1.9 of 28 you would need to hit it with a lot of power like 7-8v 35-40w min. My 28g builds max out at 1.4 @ 30-35w.

Higher you have more wraps of 28 so it takes more power to heat it quickly.

You guys get an ePacket option from GB for shipping, up here we don't. My ePacket from FT was shipped 8 days ago and is in my mailbox now.

I was really tempted to get the Hotcig version and the glass tank option from Focal, but GB had better prices on the V3 and Sigelei.

The unique thing with the flashi, if built right, is where the coil is positioned there is essentially no chamber. The chamber volume is all before it hits the coil. Vapor goes instantly from the coil up the airtube. The chamber is like the precharge before the coil.

Problem with GB is you don't know if the item is in stock or not and can sometimes take a week or two to come out of processing. If it is taking to long talk to support and they will give you some options.

Regular shipping through Singapore or Netherlands usually takes a full 3 weeks. If you have the option to upgrade shipping to an ePacket then take it, much quicker. There is courier shipping as well but at a lot higher price, If I was ordering a couple hundred worth of goods then courier would be the way to go.

On top and centered here too, it is perfect for the Rayon to come out the coil and lay on the screws. I'll have to try some 26g when my V3 arrives as well.

Yup, here's how I build my FeV. Dual strand twisted 30g Ni200. 3mm ID. .16Ω. 26w @ 480F.

I go tthe clone glass kit in.....meh. to the clone V3 it goes. Less capacity, weirder filling...just not that great. Smart though that the glass is held with the threading of the other parts (not like a kayfun glass where it's only held by o-rings)
