Right behind you...
subtank is less power hungry

I enjoy my Atlantis more at 25w than I do my Subtank at 25w, so in my book they're equally as efficient. I just don't like that very warm to hot vape on the Kanger at all . Yes, there's more flavor watt-for-watt from the Kanger, but it's ruined for me by being too warm.

If I drop down to 22.5w (which hits my mod's lower 3.6v limit) it's just about cool enough to suit me, but loses big-time in flavor and vapor to the still cooler Atlantis at 25w. Same story with the 1.2 ohm OCC, get it where it's cool enough and it doesn't match the 25w Atlantis for flavor or vapor.

But that's just me, I'm sure there are a lot of people that really dig a very warm or hot vape, and find the Atlantis too cool.

You might want to take a stronger Draw. What you describe is no different than learning how to use different RDA's according to their design.
What you are experiencing is an imbalance of Heat/liquid flow/Air Flow. You have the Kanger Boiling More liquid More boiling=more heat
As you increase Cool air flow heat is reduced.

Watts do not make a Hot Vape. I run my Dark Horse at 40w for a Tasty cool Vape - 50w is warm
7 watts with no air flowing and poor wicking is Hot.:D

I'm not "tootle-puffing", I'm lung hitting and often chain vaping, with good long and deep 3-6 second draws, hard to get much more air than than without hyperventilating. :)

The Subtank just gets freaking too warm for me, wide open airflow and deep draws, it's just not an enjoyable vape. It's not even the case of being "not as enjoyable as the Atlantis", it's "I don't enjoy it at all". Might be a different story with the airier Subtank Mini or Nano.

Have you gone through the lower section to be sure nothing is amiss? Not doubting you at all, just odd I haven't heard this complaint from others. Usually it is simply suggested it needs more power to compare. Not the same as over heating.
Yours sounds restricted.

Are you building or using the Heads?

Edit: Please don't misunderstand - I'm laughing because of your comment - Not at you :)

Cost more to get less :D
Watch for discount codes - I only paid $62.99 at Originvape with a 10%off

You did well there, be careful..your experience is showing:blink: By the time mine gets down to me it'll have been over a month in transit and cost as much nearly as you would pay for the SXmini....just the price of living in 'Paradox' unfortunately:toast:

I'm Kind of mad that MVS has them listed at $63.95 right now even though they are out of stock. I paid $70 through them at the beginning of last week. Granted they are out of stock anyways and I'm glad I got mine. It just seems weird they would drop the price in less than a week on something they knew would sell at the original price.

They lowered the price to most likely compete with other vendors selling them at a cheaper price currently.

You make me feel guilty for ordering one on Friday for $63.95. Due for delivery tomorrow!

Got mine from MVS, lovin this lil rig! Been using an Ipv 3 for the last three months, but it is a tad big for my liking. I vape right around 30-40 watts, but the reason I purchase higher watt mods: dry burning coils. I chane the wick and dry burn the coil each morning for that "brand new" build taste I've come to love. Albeit 150 watts = instant clean coil, I find 70 watts is a workable medium point. So this mod is the smallest form factor we can get yet still deliver huge power for cleaning coils. Really a great deal.
