hadn't seen that one!

Yeah... it was on the first page after your first comment on the spring loaded pin, then after someone asked you about it :- ) I miss a few myself like that lol...

I watched a few other videos and thought that the best. I was a bit surprised that Phil hadn't got the message on the batt wrap, I'm sure he's does now - probably by quite a few people lol.

Thank you, Sir Kent. Perhaps I will have to open Heaven's gift then. The 36w and the 25w are/were the same price.

The technical name is "peacock" finish. (Let me know, too -- I  mine and wouldn't mind a spare, especially if it's the pre-36 watt version)

Also, Ms. tea, you can get the black waves "pre-36" watt at Vaping, Electronic cigarettes, vape shops, vaping supplies for a bit more dollars.

I wish Phil would hurry up with his review the Cool Fire 4. One thing I like about his reviews is they are consistant. It makes things easy to compare with each other. And the fact he finds ways to throw in some humor. I can skip to the last 5 - 10 minutes and get a decent summary when I need to cut it short.

I wonder if another sign that I'm addicted to vaping might be the fact that I'm watching tons more You Tube videos than regular tv anymore?

Seriously now, he had two gripes--the power button placement and the size of the screen (too small, both the screen and the font). Phil never liked Innokin's buttons. :D He also complained bitterly that the MVP's button was hard to operate. I guess it's a matter of personal preference--he doesn't like to use his thumb knuckle to press the button; I use my knuckle all the time with all my batteries (iSticks, Defender) and find it very comfortable. Well, not with my ProVari, come to think of it--the ProVari gets the tip of my thumb. IIRC.

Reader's Digest version, anyone?

Holy cow. Brilliant clear irridenscent red. Same with the blue. Here goes my notes."

"Same freakishly long battery life as the isticks" A day and a half with a kayfun. Mechanical on/off switch. Similar in size to Subox (Kbox mini) SS 510 threading, spring loaded pin. "Stellar build quality". Screen bright and easy to see in the daytime. Locks with 3 clicks. Awkward click and hold menu adjustment. Puff counter and 15 second cut off. Step down is PWM. RMS. Very accurate reading volts/watts. "Amazing build quality" Fired down to 0.2 ohms. "Boy I wish the fire button was on the curved part" rather than the side. Then went into the isub tanks.

I refuse to watch him. I just don't want to waste that much of my attention span, Seriously, if I want to be entertained I'll watch a comedian, I just want to hear a review. That is why I watch a reviewer.

The colors are really, really nice. I brought mine down to the vape shop and before I left they were ordering some from their vendor. Battery life? Seems about right for the rating but I can easily kill it in a day with a dripper and a 1.1 ohm coil. Very spring loaded pin. Screen could be bigger but it is easy to see even in bright light (if I have my glasses on). I like the Off/On on the bottom of the device, not sure why but I do. Menu adjust is no big deal but I don't like the flip screen feature. When I am trying to read battery voltage, I have to squint and look hard and if I take to long it throws the screen upside down in to left hand mode. The classic smooth delivery of power that I have come to expect from Innokin. Classic over built and solid feel that I have come to expect from innokin but it cold be lighter. I personally think the fire button is exactly where it belongs.

I think the thing I like best about the device is the way it feels in my hand. The round end fits the curve on my hand like a tube mod but the fire button is out more like a box mod. It has not left my hand very much in the last few days. I am running it with an old I-go L for a nice compact little rig.

Thanks, Cap'n.

I don't share Phil's "button-placement OCD" at all. In fact, I use the SX Mini and the IPV Mini interchangeably, and couldn't even tell you where the dang buttons are. As long as I can push it, I'm fine.

Speaking of which, I'm very curious how it stacks up size wise with either of the two "Mini" devices I mentioned. If it's smaller, I've got reason to jump. If not though, I have to think about it a little more. Does anyone have both (CF4 and either Mini)?

I like the on/off buttons too. I've only got two mods that have them, but I also find them to be quite useful, especially the way that I use mods.

I'm still thinking we should do it (@Katdarling), but I'd like to know your opinion, since you said absolutely nothing (literally) after watching PB's vid.

Thank you all for your input. I have now watched enough of the video to say that I am firmly undecided.

Maybe I will just wait to see how that XVO thingie is working out, since it's the only thing that's truly making my heart race these days. Decisions, decisions...
