Remember this gem?

0cgR.jpg
Clone of my first car - '75 orange Honda Civic CVCC w/a trunk. 13" wheels baby :thumb:
95mph jumps with 3 friends in the car. The whole car airborne. HTF are we still alive?

Lucky you didn't hit the rear of a Pinto.:D
A Duster took it out in a head-on.

Me 5-10 pulling into the lot
Her 20 and accelerating to get with traffic
~25-30 MPH total
Dodge = some orange paint on a dented chrome bumper
Honda = sewing machine "engine" squarshed against the firewall = totaled

Fun AF & it flew pretty stable but not much good toe to toe vs real steel

My 5 SX350J Boxer mods would have cost me $1250 total new.
I bought them over time from the classifieds for $550 total.
Replacement boards cost me $25 each so with 10 left I'm good.

$160 for a used Renegade X SX350J from ModTrader FB
It uses a different power switch board so it'll be all-she-wrote when it croaks.

I bought 3 P3's from ProVape for about $230 for the black ones & $200 for the silver.
I bought an SX Mini M from my local B&M for $200

No regrets on any of those. I sell what I don't want anymore for minimal loss.
I took a beating when selling my Kir Fanis tanks though.

Anything vape-related over $100 would be 'spensive in my world these days.
I'd like to get a brand new Classic 350j Boxer kit for $190 but whatever...
someone (in my room) just said "mmmmm new Boxerrrr" in Homer's donuts voice

And all I got is a drawer full of old mods & a pocket full of change. ;)
a ZZ Top song just popped into my head....Thanks! I'll be humming it for the rest of the day. Thank God, you bumped the Cambells Soup theme right out of there!

Around $900.00 all in including Sterling silver end caps, custom heat treated AFC on the purpose built atty, matching drip tips, fancy Italian bottle upgrade, etc.

Worth every penny.

The wife's favorite setup.

Never leaves the house.
Never gets put down when she's in the house.

After all, I'm FAR, FAR in the green vaping for 5 people vs. JUST MY cigarette expenses.

to quote my favorite croc hunter...."She's a beauty!" And we'll likely never see another one like it. Beautiful mod, man....then again, all of yours are quite nice.

I've got some real ugly REOs.

They take the heat for my "shelf units". My daily beaters.

Thank you, sir!

Beautiful piece!
I have a couple of Pdib's Li'l Pinches. They're pretty much all I vape, when I'm home. Peter's woodworking skills are as nice as I've ever seen. Worth every penny. When I'm out and about, it's REOs, always. Not as pretty; but rock solid, reliable performers. Also worth the price.

is that a pdib? I thought that was one of those VR mods.... I didn't last long in the stab wood department. Pdib is still at it...so there's hope!

It's a pdib shell (affectionately referred to as a "nutcase"). It's got gdeal gDNA style internals (3D printed internal frame) and 3D "printed" metal end-caps.

Here's another one with brass rather than sterling silver end-caps:
