oh I like it, small and compact, how's the patina on that?
Flavours are very good , on the wolfpaw you can put in small coils or lager 3.5 mm plus , or spaced coils depends on how you want it , yes kanger offer a starting point , The Augvape-Merlin--RTA- is a great starter rta the posts are set to one side offering lots of build space for the single coil builds , Theres a load of new BF rda out now in every shape an size kanger did well to get everyone going , offering an affordable sqounker to The masses ,bit most kits the included RDA isnt really up to much an most eventually move away from that as they learn to build an go hunting for the atty there best suited to

I get what you're saying... I build my own coils.. I'm rural I really don't have much of a choice anyhow... but
im sorry for not posting it but i am not interested in building my own coils. i know i have technical expertise to do it but im just not intereted in trial and error and taking the time to do it. id rather buy pre built coils. so these questions apply only to pre built coils

and. bear with my my one hand is killing me today so I'm having to click everything with my off hand.
ohhh .. i had no idea that drippers are rebuildables only. ill probably read a few DIY's andtry to make em in a few months. i saw a aspire quad flex and just assumed they were pre-built rda's
im not too worried about federal regulations, companies enjoy money so they will adapt or find loopholes.

also i know that sub ohm tanks are not for mtl. sometimes i like to enjoy a direct to lung vape.

I just have one question... will they fit into some of the extremely tiny rbas? I've seen some of them in my hand and yep, nope...
Yes you can look online an find smaller coils smaller id pre made if you take the time to look , this is it there mot a set size like oem coils tbey come in all sizes in all materials, you just need to search theres always some one building micro to Goliath sized coils for sale ,in all types wires too , need only look , i get the convinence , but its just a matter of undoing two screws an slotting it in , As you know , flavours are unmatched on rebuildable coils , plus last so much longer ,rather than throw away just pull wick dry burn ,an pop in fresh cotton , Most people started with kanger , but the leaks the dry hits from kanger coils are well documented too , Sorry if was a bit abrupt , we do not know if coils will not be banned or not yet , since the governments world wide want us to not even be able to get at the coils they want us back to cartomiser days , stuck paying the man for sub par products at what ever price hikes they choose. Thoses whom do not want to learn can either pay tbe price hikes or go back to smoking which is what they want you to do , to fund the tax man , but when you can buy 6 types coils 48 of them for 3.50 £ why wouldn't you buy them even if you can make your own or not the convinence of have them that cheap why wouldn't you want to learn add to that the costs of juices which prices are set to rise also , we all know where they are leading us back to anologs ,

Theres auto coiler machine now , coil magician , an such , dam ive cut my index finger off when i was younger was sown back on ,i can't bend the finger or use it , only have tbe thumb an an two middle fingers that i can use little finger knackered also , theres always a way or a tool , ive seen people with no hands that can draw better with there toes than me thats dedication , if you can search for info or not , theres something for everyone or not ,or buying pre coiled coils is just one option oem another , as long as your vaping an not smoking thats what counts , if you cam do so with one hand good on you [emoji106]

For anyone that wants to use tanks with cartridge coils, I always recommend the tanks that are part of the Atlantis type cartridge "family"... it's a design that is very proven, as several companies have been making these cartridge coils that are near identical, which gives you a huge selection of types thanks to this.

The tanks I recommend are:

Eleaf:
Melo 2 (sliding door for top fill is probably the best design in any tank)
Melo 3 (top fill is screw top)
iJust (bottom fill)

Aspire:
Triton (V1 is a lock to close flow and pop-off top, excellent design, very easy, nice metal cage tank. V2, the metal cage was removed and the top is now a screw-top, I prefer V1)

Freemax:
Scylla (push and twist top fill, neat approach, works well, and you can get an kit version that comes with an RTA, which isn't the greatest but still, it's something to test out if you want to go with RTAs)

For coils, there's a long list, but the beauty is that most are cross compatible, here's a list of other tanks that I didn't mention here and how compatible they are: https://goo.gl/r54pW0

My preference are the Vaperaso ceramic, which I end up taking apart and rebuilding

Note: all of these coils are near identical and are easily taken apart and can be rebuilt, and to be honest, every one of the rebuilds Ive done are better than factory made. I support them enough that I made a image guide about this: Vaperrasso cCell rebuilding

well.. i got my protank 4 evolved / using the coils it came with....
not really impressed by it so far in dtl. the mtl 1.5ohm coil is alot better than my
nautilus , more vapor into my lungs and not so restrictive sucking. unfortunately ive moved away from mtl and only dtl now.

i dont know if i need to try different sub ohm coils other than the ceramic .5ohm or if i
haven't found the right air flow/wattage mix {going between 40w-50w} but i keep going back to my isub G's
due to flavor production

ughh yeah don't use the ceramic... get some .5 claptons for the best flavour.

I should add, I really, really didn't like those ceramics, they made the tank way too hot.

I would agree 100% on externally wicked crushed or matted ceramic wick coils. Haven't encountered a one that I would consider a flavor device. However, braided ceramic (Nextel) according to almost all the dozens of long term vapers I've set up with it beats alternatives hands down. Flow, see below (a little gig I did). Not to mentioned that maintenance immediately restores it to pristine and fresh operation in minutes and in place. And then there's that little thing that the wind and wick can then last for months (years for the latter). It's like that. :D

Good luck. :)

p.s. Now does this look "hot" to you?

Subohm vaping has so many different devices available but if you want something with good flavor lower heat and not a full on cloud chaser the Sense Herakles subohm tank is a great device. But if you want to step up your powe and get a full on flavor with a good amount of vapor the Smok TFV lineup is the most popular. If you want to go radical but still want screw in coil elements the TriForce is a monster if you break the coil in gradually and properly I have vaped it from 70 watts all the way to 250 watts on the smok 300 watt.

after i got the clapton .5 ohm coils for my protank 4 evolved ,
didnt really like it, wasn't for me. i could not get a good vape out of it,
adjusting the air hole on the drip tip just muted the flavor and its original air hole is
not big enough to vape with the drip tip hole closed.i also coulnt vape it below 40w .
ive put it to the side and stayed with my isub's

i recently bought a smok baby beast.
JACKPOT
i found my new favorite vape device. really fills up my lungs with not too much pull, at 55-60w
the vape is perfect temp, nowhere near as hot as the protank4. currently using the V8 Baby-Q2 Coil.
but damn is the coils expensive.
looking at the selection of coils ...
  • 0.4ohm V8 Baby-Q2 Dual Coil - rated for 30-80W | recommended 55-65W
  • 0.15ohm V8 Baby-X4 Quad Coil - rated for 30-70W | recommended 45-60W
  • 0.15ohm V8 Baby-T8 Octuple Coil - rated for 50-100W | recommended 60-80W
not sure which is the best one for my coolfire4+ , and im really considering buying a '
coolfire4 tc 100w/ smok alien just so i can get the best vape out of this device
