I like 70VG juices, so PG nic is a problem sometimes when there's a lot of flavors in the recipe.
I also like 65-70% VG. I vape at 15mg, so PG nic is 15% of the final mix. That leaves me 15-20% of headroom for PG-based flavorings before I would need to worry about what my nic is mixed with. Since I like lightly flavored juices, that's never been a problem. :D

Any of you folks up for a blind taste test? Here's my thought: I've already got 120ml bottles of 100 mg (in PG) coming from three vendors (VZ, VT, and XV). I could order up a couple more from other vendors and make up some sample packs, with say 5-10ml of each, labelled with just numbers or letters, so you don't know which is which. The samples would be 100 mg/ml in PG (straight from the bottle), so you could mix to your preferred ratio and strength.

Rossum - That's a great and generous offer on your part.

Should you wish to make these evaluations formal, it may be good to establish ranking or other criteria. Perhaps those originally established by Cyrus Vap are appropriate. It may be useful to establish some methods and perhaps testing concentrations for testers to use, though it may be difficult for each to stick to that. Individual comments and / or variations can be added in text notes.

Let's hope we end up with a horse rather than a camel. a camel is a horse designed by a committee - Wiktionary

I think it's appropriate for the current state of nicotine base to be updated, and I remain open to making up a chart of results should the data prove suitable. I'm not certain I trust my own ability to taste and evaluate, but may give it a go.

In any event, good luck with the efforts and we all stand to gain from this.

I don't either, which is why I think a "blind test" involving several people would be a good way to do this.

I'll be off-line for most of the afternoon/evening, but will get back to this either late tonight or tomorrow.

Off topic guys, sorry, but where would you guys say would have the best cleanest pg/vg?
I used DIY shack, Wizard labs, Bull City, MFS and am now using Bulk Apothecary and they are all good VG/PG. For the buck bulk apothocary is the best. The 10 lb size is a gallon. I paid $13 a gal for VG a few months back plus like $10 shipping. PG I will pick up in 250 ml sizes when I order flavors. Still have a lot of it on hand seeing how I usually mix 80/20.

For EU citizens, then I can recommend mixnmatcheliquids from cyprus, which is one of the few which have 100mg nic in EU. There is another site also which does that, but i've read really bad things about them.

Anyway, for EU standards, then they are really cheap, and my corrospondance with them reveals they are using Alchem(min 99.97% purity) as nic-supplier and pg/vg from holland.

The guy which owns the site, Angelos, is a really nice guy, and is also very responsive and detailed through emails and they have good custommer service alltogether(I got my package re-shipped to me because of a mix-up with the address initially).

They also use gas-flush(modified atmosphere packaging) on their bottles to extend shelf-live and minimize oxidation, which I find really cool, and the printed shelf-life is 6 years because of this, but it's still plastic bottes, though.

The nic had no bad odor and had a light pink hue, which ive seen many times before in vg nic. I really like the taste of this nic for unflavored vaping as it gives a kinda hay/caramel/tobacco'y light taste and depth to it, which I have come to much appreciate. Before I have used chemnovatic nic solely(from 3 different suppliers: themselves, inawera and pink-mule), but that is just to bland to me with unflavored.

They use 5% water in their vg nicbases, and according to the owner, it's not just for thinning solely, but also because more viscus liquids entraps more air-bubbles during mixing, which leads to more oxidation of the nic.

Anyway, I really like this nic! :)

Evening all, Just got back to civilization. I have been gone for two years and have ~500ml stored away in my cryo freezer. It should be fine but would like to acquaint myself with what's new. If it wouldn't be too much bother would one of you decipher the abbreviations used in this thread, VN, NN, VZ etc.

The 500mL is WL ice. I like it.

Sincerely,
Boden

While I would love to have the free time to read through 125 pages I really don't. I know this has probably been answered in this thread a million times so please excuse me asking yet again.

I haven't picked up Nic in over a year now, last time I did it was from Wizard Labs and I've been happy with it, but I was wondering... don't know how to word it.. if there's any highly suggested vendors with good nic at a good price point (including shipping hate paying the same for shipping that I do for the product)

I've been up too late now so me no use words fine. Please excuse that. Just realized how low I'm getting and that I'm going to need to get more sooner rather than later and wanted to possibly check out other places.
