What a great forum and what a wonderful bunch of people!

Congrats on one month!!! It's an important milestone whether you realize it or not yet. And yes, you and all of us are winners here, every minute of everyday we don't smoke!!! Not trying to take away anything from USMC's winning. That is another thing that is just so fitting. We also win by having wonderfully giving people like USMC and brothers and sisters that are willing to put themselves in a position to serve for us all. Sorry for the gush.....I am feeling very blessed this morning. So glad to be part of this crew!!

I went to bed last night when there was about 6,500 posts left. Woke up for work in the morning and there was about 1700 left to go. Only took around an hour and a half or so for those last 1700 posts! It was seriously fun though

Yeah, I know what you mean. Last post I made there were 1,713 left to go - went out to water some plants in the front yard, came back in less than an hour to see a post count of 15,000,328 or something close to that.

At the 20 mill mark, the plants are gonna go thirsty till it passes.

If you were posting during that time, you have just as good a chance as anyone to win a runner up position.

Before vaping...i literally never won anything luck based in my life. I was in a raffle as a youngin once, for 4-H, that was supposed to have an item for all of the participants.... They miscounted by one........ Guess who left empty handed? That's been my luck with contests. But since vaping, I've actually won some raffles and contests (this ones the best so far ). I think the universe is rewarding me for vaping?

I try to never laugh at somebody elses expense but on this one I just couldn't help it. Sorry , it just made me think of my luck. I can picture the face you must have had on you.

@Chakris Not just now I can't - because I don't have access to it, but we'll explain what the process was when we've announced the runners up.

Essentially, there's no real way to tell which post was exactly the 15millionth, so we used a random process to choose the winner at the approximate time the 15millionth post was being made.

Pretty much the fairest way we could find to do it!

As you know, the 15 millionth post was actually made some time ago, but due to post deletions, two software migrations, certain forums not counting etc etc, we have 15m posts now that are in the database. It's all a little arbitrary, but all good fun, and it is still a landmark for our community.

Thanks Joe, it was a lot of fun, even though I was AFK during the hottest part of it. Hope to be around for the next one, too.
