I knew I saw that. buddy has competition car place.

battery lasts much longer than sx mni because for some reason I had to lower the temp 1oo degrees! same wattage. this thing is very nice. no paint to wear off.
just wish I could fit my drip tip in. any tip 510 with O-rings fits. especially duals.

I know, but 10 wh at 200 watts is nothing still. that should have like 3 of those lipos like variant does.

Don't be hesitant with this mod. Yes, I've had mine for only a few days, but the batt life in temp mode is sooo much better than I was expecting. In power, it should be ok for all day if you carry a spare. I think your vtc 4 are only 2000mah, but you should be ok. I would suggest to get at least one more batt to be on the safe side if you vape in temp mode. Lg has some new 3000mah batts, I have a couple on the way. I'm confident one would last me a whole day...And I got my Sig 75w for $50.35 and very speedy FREE shipping using the coupon code Iloveweekends from Sigelei 75 Watt Temperature Control Box Mod
If that's not a push over the fence, then I can't help you.

*sigh* alright, its on the way. Also ordered some "tempered" 30gauge nickel wire. This will be my first tc mod.

Bit over 2 weeks of use now. While it still vapes like a champ it has also developed its first issues.
After 1 week I got some play in the doors, they now sort of click every time I hold it a bit tight, kind of annoying.
Also about 1 in 15 presses of the fire button it just doesn't fire, but that is no biggie for me, I just press it again :)
Since 2 days also the firing button sometimes doesn't click correctly, it sort of grinds against the contactpoint instead of clicks, but it still fires correctly when it does so.

The door thingee annoys me the most and the button thingee has me a bit worried that it will fail entirely over time.
I do think technicaly (chip, vape production, ease of use etc.) it is a fine device, but I am dissapointed in build quality.
I am not sure if above points warrant a return, as the are all pretty minor, and the device is still perfectly usable.

Anybody else got similar problems?

if I push hard my doors move around way less than 1mm. there might be some beter than others at this price point. what you hopefully purchase with more money is beter qc. this can be had for $55. unles it fails I just can't complain. the big sellng point for me was no paint/anodize. all my painted/anodized mods that were $200 and up wore through. I think this thing is brilliant so long as it lasts 6 months. I know that is asking very little but look at the price. I had many $200 plus mods not last a day. I really think the build quality on mine is better than sx mini which it replaced. sx mini has more controls and nicer display but dna40 is pretty similar to this. I like you do not have to set resistance every time like 350j. however it must be way off. I had to lower temp 100 degrees from 350j and dna40. you don't get perfect for $55 and many times not for $200+. I do like this so far beter than most $200+ mods because it is good and if it lasts 6 months not sad to toss it. I think it is very good thus far. if it fails in three weeks than it sucks. hopefully not. I do not foresee that happening but I do not have a crystal ball either. I think the design is great too. also like that my leaking juice will not get in the chip most likely. plus no glue to the naked eye, clean. overall I think a lot less can be said of many $200+ mods. rdna40 literally fell apart in a day. 3 sx mini's did not last 6 months. please do not ask too much from a $55 device. I understand that is many peoples budget and it is probably the best one for that price and even 4 times that price. I like it. will report if it is quick work however. I think it is way undervalued at this point. you can bend the doors but it is very tricky without the right tools and really not worth the risk imo. it is just a lot of mod for the money I feel. even my variant is not perfect. nothing really is. although I expect much more for $1,000 and did not really get so much more. happier to just toss this. what else can I say. bargain. now watch it fail lol.

unfortunately it is not $55 where I live, more like $100 (80 euro's) :-( but I agree to a point...it is still working fine and for the price delivers great performance. But 2 weeks is a short time to develop these issues I think, 2 more magnets on the doors could prevent the door rattle in my opinion.....
I do hope I get a better experience with the sx mini m than the one you had though....as I just ordered one which will replace the sig 75 for my daily and the sig will become my backup.
I did need a backup device anyways and the sx has tempted me before :) and decided for one without magentic doors as I am now a bit wary about them. (now just hope the battery cap on the SX won't screw me over :)

But don't get me wrong, despite the (minor) issues I am still getting a great vape from it!

Samsung 26R = 2500 mAh x 3.6 V = 9 Wh
3S 900 mAh LiPo = 900 mAh x 11.1 V = 9.99 Wh

That's what is known as fuzzy math.

Since you're basing your math on a fully charged lipo with no battery drain you should do the same with the 18560 as well, but instead you've cut the 18650 voltage by .6V, artificially reducing it's Wh by 1.5 Wh.

Fully charged Samsung 25R = 2500 mAh X 4.2V = 10.5 Wh

Yup my door has started to rattle and the fire button has done that from the getgo as well. Both issues are a bit annoying but not enough to make me want to return it. With the sleeve on the device stops the doors from rattling and I'm hoping where they release different color doors it will take care of the rattling issue.

No the nominal charge as used for the mAh rating, fully charged 3S LiPo would be 12.6 V.

I took a look at one of these at a local vape shop. It feels a good bit smaller than my 50w vr2. That was nice.

I also like that it'll actually buck.

Whats the cut off voltage on this thing? Its a little high on my vr2.
When I get the low battery warning and put the battery into my charger, it registers about 3.5-3.52 volts.

2nd this, but I usually pull before I get the warning. On a few occasions I've let it go to this and it ends up around what J has said. Its a good mod I defintely like it.

Sighs, very sorry to hear that for you.
Sorry to hear that for me as well since i just bought it yesterday and I didn't get it for the great price you all did.
BUT I did wonder because Fasttech has had it on pre-order for some time.
Certain mods just never go on preorder or sale at all there.
I love FT but believe a lot of seconds get dumped there.....so I am not surprised.
I do hope the rest of us have a better experience than you do.
Fortunately I do have a warranty as I paid full price for it at a good B + M store.
But i have already had a few other $80-$100 mods that have started to go on the blink within a month or two
I am getting a bit tired of the poor quality control and likely would have purchased a SX Mini in TC mode IF i knew whether i liked it yet.
Did try some Kanger pre-made coils on my Heatvape Invader Mini, the first TC devise I had but I wasnt impressed.
In fact i have owned that about 2+ months and use it in V/W mode.
Figured if worse came to worse, could do the same with the Sigelei
'
BUT i was expecting at least a half decent mod from Sigelei, considering both the 100+, the 150w and the 30w versions already owned here, But the presale at FT had me wondering...

thanks. that makes sense I guess. probably knew they sold me a bum unit for $55. man I almost .... my pants when I saw that. amazingly the coil took it like a champ. there could have been a gosh darn fire! let us know how it is in a few weeks please. maybe I will buy one at b&m for twice the price. I thought it was really neat. like a nicer rdna imo. oh, I just found out the battery surrendered it's life as well. very lucky am i tonight. might go play power ball now!

Hmm, plus your battery? Not a good night. Do you wish to play power ball or beat it up? :) ( Sorry, just rambling. Know you have left but I am rambling nonetheless to others)

I haven't been at this game very long but learning quickly that when certain Chinese vendors get something in, theres a chance theres a reason its being sold. I doubt that Sigelei sells to such places and things are purchased 3rd hand so to speak but mods like a SX Mini, you won't see being sold in any chinese site that I am at least aware of?
If I am wrong, and I would love to be, I hope someone will let me know.
I too have suffered from "shinyitis" but I although I would like to say I am learning to be far more selective and would rather buy one good one, than 3 average that might be prone to breaking early, I did figure that with a name behind this, Sigelei, if worse came to worse and the TC wasnt very good, that at least the V/W side would still work well. But this one I would not have purchased if I didn't feel that I really needed to hop on the TC game and know, one way or thee other if it were for me. Until I did know, I felt unable to buy any more V/W mods but nor did i want to spend $200 + on such a device if I weren't going to use it. What I found interesting, when I purchased this just yesterday, I got it at a store at home that does ver well. Its one of the more respected stores. It likely caters to both typical vapers, but I suspect also to lawyers, stock brokers, etc, people that have some money to spend. For that reason I was really curious to hear from the sales help, although I stressed their answer would not change my mind and i was buying this TC device regardless, what they thought of TC and I was told none of them liked it and don't use it. I was told that they thought it was a trend that would die out. Perhaps a bit early to know for sure but I thought it was odd that such a vape store would have said that. I was told none of them liked the taste of nickel. It was this fear myself that prevented me from paying $200+ for one i knew would not fail.

But that's a real drag and i do empathize as that has happened to me and I have since decided that deals often come with a high price when dealing with vaping gear. I usually let others try it out first but this one I did jump on as well.

nah. I bought $200+ mods at reputable b&m failed too. not the actual function but like the finish etc. except hana. they got a bad batch of dna40. I had 3 quit. they were happy to fix it. then I went to the hospital for 3 months with cancer. too late for their nice gesture now. warranty is over. oh well. at least I am still alive after 4 surgeries. I found though while there some doctors vape and currently feel it is safer! of course no vaping in hospital duh. well these things just need to be built better. rather lost $55 than $200+. my variant works is not tc and is great. look at the price though. should not have to pay that to get a good mod. I am just thanking gd tonight that my home did not burn because of that. very interesting batter and coil are toast but nothing happened. thank the lord. it used all the juice must have kept going until coil was open circuit. also thankful for vaporshark coils even though my rdna fell apart in one day. maybe I better not play the power ball after all. to late tonight anyways it is over. I swear if I won that I would change a lot of things. only spend a little on vaping. ahh who am I kidding lol. I agree though I could just leave tc. nothing special. can still get good flavor and no dry hits without it set right. I am concerned about ti which this does not do anyways. some things might be better left alone. so many people are just inhaling who knows what. perhaps it can be safe but why press our luck. I don't know. well, I don't know much about all this new fangled technology that is. just glad I am on here tonight and still have my home.
