Now that I'm back to vaping, I'm seriously considering buying the Sigelei 75W TC, thought I'll go through one of our US vendors. I have a few questions I'd like to ask the trusted posters here. What tank does everyone like the best? Best batteries? Nothing like starting from scratch. Again.
You'd be happy with some Samsung 25r's or vtc4's or 5's. I get my batteries from illumn. They are trusted and if you search the batteries sub forums you'll see that many people trust this vendor.

I got the Samsung 25r's and so far they're amazing. I did want some vtc5's but they are almost always out of stock lol.

Just got my Sigelei 75. Not impressed.

I've seen the same complaints over on reddit. The buck circuit is screwey at best.

With my goblin on a .36 ohm coil I'm getting a check battery warning on my 25r at 3.5v and 3.7 on my he2. I'm using an hg2 right now, we'll see how that goes.

You can check and see that with almost any build if you set it to 75w it'll go right down to 50w on a fresh battery. Not sure if its a universal issue but I'm not alone with this one.

Would probably explain the ....ty battery life that people have been complaining about.

I also had my doubts about how accurate it would read nickel builds. That spring loaded 510 connector is fickle. I've had issues with a few mods on my vr2, nothing that I couldn't work around. The smallest variance will throw off a nickel temp build. My standard 7 wrap 28ga 1/8" coil on my subtank which has been very, very consistent on my ipv4 is reading a fair bit higher on the sig 75.

I hear that the boost circuit works fine but if I have to go back to 28 on my goblin I'm might as well just stick to my vr2. Especally if these battery issues carry over to tc which I assume that they do after watching my titanium mutation x build zip down to 50w on a fresh battery.

I've owned a few devices. My old smok stick, hanna clone, sig vr2, and ipv4. Not one of them didn't work as advertised. This one has by far the most glaring issues.

I also love the size but its heavy for a device this size. My vr2 is a fair bit lighter.
I'm assuming that its due to those stupidly thick side panels.

Oh, my power button rattles. Side doors are fine. Next to no play there.

I've never done this with an atty or device but I'm going to just return the thing. I paid $50 for the thing, had I paid the price that some people had paid I would be .......

The quality of this device is piss poor. I had a very good opinion of sigelei before I got this unit in hand. They should stick to yihi chips..........

What voltage are you seeing when you pull the battery from the device?

Do you get a replace battery or check battery warning? Does it actually fire at 75w?

Here is the reddit thread that I'm referring to.

Sigelei 75 watt issue.... : electronic_cigarette

Not sure what you mean by pulling the battery.

I'm using a .25 ohm coil @ 75 watts and voltage reads 4.24 / 4.14 / 4.15 / 4.33 when I fire. I don't get a replace battery / no puff warning until the battery is below the half way mark. Hard to judge what % that means.

Also a side note, I have seen some fake 25R's recently. Anyone having issues make sure it's a 3 prong and not a 4. The 4 version is a knock off.

Hey guys, for my Sigelei 75w, and so far I like it a lot!

Haven't had any battery issues at all, I'm running a vct4, 50w at 420F. I was vaping up a storm with my gf occasionally using it (had to refill the subtank mini 3 times) since 1 pm yesterday, and had to replace the battery at 1230 am before going to bed. Its my first TC device, but it seems from a single battery mod that kind of battery life is expected. Overall the mod looks good, no rattles or weird gaps anywhere.

One thing though, from the YouTube videos I watched, I thought that you could swap the battery doors if you wanted to, but they would end up being upside down? Mine doesn't let me do that, the layout of the pins on the doors have a completely different layout on each door. Did I get a different revision of Sigelei?
Under my battery door mine is stamped H183, holding the power button and inserting the battery gives P75 V2.1 20150717-2-8.5V. I'd be interested to see if there is already different revisions of the sigelei 75w out in the wild, might help explain the battery issues that some people have.

Its a regulated device though. My sigelei 50w vr2 gets better battery life since it brings the batteries down to 3.2v reliably. Not seeing any sort of predictability with lower resistance coils on the 75.

Hell, my ipv4 brings them down to 3.1. I get crazy battery life from that thing.

I keep hearing (I'm not having any issues) what voltage is your battery sitting at when you pull it from the device?

Edit: Put a dual 30ga ni200 build on my goblin mini. Came out to .09 ohms according to the sig. My ipv4 is reading .066. According to steamengine the sig may be more accurate. Anyways using it at 50w and when I took off my HG2 it read a little over 3.4v. Not too bad. I'm glad to see that.

Edit 2: HE2 performed better than expected in tc mode. Or really as expected when when buying the device which is a good thing.

My battery just died on me now. I got 3.4v on my 75w

I love my Sig 75, I have it paired with a Subtank Mini and a Sig Elite tank. I am using it now with Nickel coils in TC and the Elite tank. I had slight movement in one of the side panels but now it seems to seat itself correctly and doesn't move at all. I also had a glitch where the screen went dark but it kept working. I powered it off and back on and it hasn't done it again. I think I prefer the Subtank Mini over the Elite Tank as the coils seem to last longer. TC mode I am not that big of a fan as I don't notice that much difference in battery life or juice usage. Flavor seems to be the same as in Power mode. I also have the Samsung 25R batteries and they last almost all day on a chain vape at 20 watts, when I crank it up to 35 watts, the battery life is closer to about 4 hours . I ordered another one for my brother who is new to vaping and paired it with the Subtank Mini and he loves it. I may get another one as a back up but I am also considering the Sig 150 TC. I may not use TC that much but nice to have it in case I do decide to use it. So far a decent device for the money.

Broke down and ordered a silver one from wake and vape. I've been curious about TC, so now I'll find out what all the fuss is about :) I was planning to wait for them to show up at my B&M, but when I stopped in the other day they said they weren't planing to get them, just the 150W version. I figure if I like it, I'll go back to the shop and get the 150W, as I've been thinking about a dual 18650 box for home/funnsies. If I don't like TC, i'm only out $55 + shipping, and I can probably sell it on craigslist for most of that, and pick up a Sig 100/150 for the house anyways.

Coud do with seeing pics of the different door pin layout.

Mine was from what I presume was the first batch to reach the UK. Inside is stamped H233 and the display reports the same as that shown on early youtube reviews:

p75 v2.1
20150627-1U

I'm kind of curious about the stuff that comes after the date now, especially as there isn't enough room on my screen to fit as many characters as yours seems to indicate! Perhaps they changed the font size.

Definitely not happy with my Sig 75... First issue fire button rattl second is battery life get down to about a third of a battery and it stops workin and I'm only running it at 25 watt my old sig 30 watt had much better battery life sorry I sold it now

I'm with you there. My ipv4 brings my cells down to 3.1v and the sig 50 vr2 brings them down to 3.2v. The vr2 for that reason gives me considerably more battery life. Its pretty annoying. Hell, it cuts off my 25r which I've never had any issues with at 3.7v. wtf

Like you I don't run really high wattages either, unless I'm in tc mode.

My fire button rattles as well. That one is the least of my concerns. Every once in a while it'll not fire when I press the button.

Still, I'm going to keep it. I've come to accept the high cut off voltage. Other than my 25r my other cells seem to run fine. I get decent life with my HG2s. The tc seems to work very well. Unlike my 50 it bucks which is really nice. Its also pretty small and is a nice pair with my goblin mini.

I do agree that this mod could be far better.

Ive had mine for a few days now and wanted to post my observations.

Ive run a nickel build no problem in a dripper at .1 ohms, it worked really well. It can run my cotton bone dry without giving a burnt hit. I run it about 500 degrees and 50 watts.

Mainly ive been using a dual twisted 26 gauge build at .25 ohms and 60-65 watts. It works great but gets a bit warm. It cuts my batteries off at 3.5v also. Ive been using genuine vtc4's and the new green 25r's.

My only real complaint is the doors. They seem to move around a tad and dont always sit flush. I know its the tabs on the mod doing it and eventually they will wear down and sit perfect. I also dont have any button rattle.

Im not sure if i havent found it yet or not but i cant flip my screen and i cant find a way to lock the up and down buttons. Thats frustrating.

Overall i enjoy it, except that it wont run my batteries down past 3.5v. I really hope someone makes some wood doors for these mods. I think a dark burl wood would make it look amazing.

Mine has been pretty close to perfect. No rattle in the buttons, the doors fit flush with no movement. I'm using a Freemax Starre Pro on it, and I find that the VTC5's that I am using with it cuts off around 3.5 volts and lasts me roughly one tankful of juice. Every once in a while if I hit the fire button it doesn't fire, but this happens much less with the 75TC than it happens to me with the Subox Mini (that one it seems to fire a "blank" every 6-8 times I press the fire button). With the 75TC, this happens maybe three or four times a day, out of two tankfuls of juice I go through a day.

I just pulled my new Lg He2(brown wrap)batt and it checked in at 3.2 on my vm. Battery bar was at the bottom when check batt kicked in. Mine seems to give extremely good batt life in tc. .11 build.
I have been getting the no fire on occasion though. Not a big deal because everything else is spot on.

What wattage do you run it at? What build? Im thinking about selling mine now. I anticipated short battery life but the cut off at 3.5 in wattage mode at 65 watts is killing it for me. Well, it doesnt cut it off but drops it to 50 watts.

I got this to hopefully replace some high end mods that were not perfect. love the panels that come off and are not painted. unfortunately as many have discovered the chip has issues. I was very scared when it fired half an hour unattended. second one changes wattage by itself. I do not think this is a yihi chip. yihi does not make stuff that malfunctions. oh well. it is what it is. I thought it was very promising. the design is top notch to me. just the chip.
