LOL! Yeah, you can bet the thought crossed my mind. Fear not because the tube, parts, my hands, the bench top, etc. got a good cleaning with bleach and water. I'm hoping that's not where it got wet, but it was better to be safe than sorry. ;)
The 5 second rule would apply here.

Hey guys I need some help here. I was recommending the ZMax in another thread and someone popped in with the statement that a ZMax is nothing but an unregulated tube with a "kick" in it. Now a noob (@Bonnie C ) who just ordered one from Vaporrange is scared of it.

I doubt the "unregulated" claim but I'm not experienced enough to guarantee someone that the statement is incorrect. Can someone here clarify for us?

I have 2 Zmax V3's they are a regulated mod just like any other regulated mod just in a tube format.
with a max wattage of 15 watts. In the standard telescoping one you can use 2 18350's, or 1 18500 or 1 18650 battery. You can also do variable voltage with them.
Nice mods for low wattage vaping. Some have a tapered down top and look best with ego threaded devices and some have a flat top and look best with a 510 threaded device but both styles have both 510 and ego threading.
You do have to charge the battery in an external charger. They have no micro usb charging port nor can they be charged thru the 510 connector like an Ego battery.

Every regulated device is merely a tube/box with a kick in it. Some kicks are better then others.
The key word being "regulated". That poster in the other thread said it was unregulated. Had the poor woman thinking she had just bought a Mech.

Paul, I think there is a little more to a true regulated mod than a tube with a kick ( electronics is not my field ) but I may be wrong .......let's see others with an electronic background come in and comment.
it is a true regulated mod. With a mod that uses a kick they can be used without the kick module the Zamx cannot be used any way but regulated.

I was thinking it and you said. A Kick is regulation. I thing the original remark was more of slam on tube mods in general.

Thanks again for your help folks. Heard from Bonnie this morning and she's back to looking forward to her ZMax. Don't know what the deal is with that guy who said the Z was unregulated. Appears he was the first responder to the OP in that thread and had nothing but disdain for recommendations that followed. The fact that he's an ultra member and ecf veteran had me doubting myself and probably anyone else that noticed his status. Guess even trolls that hang out here long enuf can get that status tho.

I always get a Kick out of that :)

I think we are going way off topic with this kick thing. This is supposed to be a Zmax forum. I really get a kick out of the Zmax. It would be a real kick to my head if I had to give them up. I kicked off the new year with a Zmax vape. I'm not kicking but I wish the Zmax was still around. I can't help it if I get my kicks with a Zmax. Please don't kick me for this post.
