I'm one of those addicted to mini's. I have a bunch of 18650 batteries I rarely use. Smaller and lightweight, brain dead easy because I can't take this on as a hobby. Not a choice. I'd rather pay provape to maintain my mod than ... properly tinkering? No way! I'm lucky my 2 haven't needed it. They are in rotation with several others and I do worry about longevity. That's maybe more important to me than portability. I also avoid the telescopic. I got one for a friend and it's a pita. I have an old kamry mech that I only use as 18350 because it's a hassle to adjust. I wish the mini zmax's had extensions because that is the simplest way to go imo. It's like everything, to each their own.

You got lucky on those evods. I'm not a heavy vaper and a 650 would last me a few hours. I'd have to carry a handful to make it through a day. Those were my intro to vaping. The chargers would die, batteries wouldn't charge, constant pin adjustments. I bought good brands, clones, a ton of money just to get hardware for a 24hr day. The 1300mahs helped but I've got 7 chargers because some work with a few and others work with different ones and any of them could die. Geesh. I dont see me doing that again. I liked the form though. I noticed some had usb chargers now. Enjoy your luck with them.

I can understand why some people don't like the telescopic tube Sigeleis. It's a matter of choice and I respect that.

There are people who use rigs similar to the Sigelei V3 or V5. These similarities include electronics shared by multiple Sigelei and ZMAX models. Myself and other Sigelei V3 and V5 users are happy to share information where appropriate.

The V3 and V5 users are rapidly disappearing due to scarcity and obsolescence of the devices.

Some of us have beaten the planned obsolescence of Sigelei V3 and V5 by their own ingenuity. I won't throw away my soldering iron for anyone.

In rotation between my wife and I, 4 v5's with 18650's, 4 Tobeco Kayfun v4 clones used at 7.5 watts. It's our sweet spot with diy juice at 3mg nic and our favorite flavors. Rebuilding micro coils in the Kanger tanks were a pita, the rta's are simple and a vaping pleasure. They are now low maintenance once I figured out that sweet, dark colored, or commercial juice are coil killers. The big batteries serve their purpose while on long drives or out on the boat chasing walleye. So used to having this long combo that box mods seem more awkward to me. Tinkering, soldering, coiling, wicking all are second nature now. I'm a non tobacco user over 9 years now and thanks to e-cigs my wife is tobacco free for over 6 years. The ego junk caused more short circuits, hot pockets, and frustrations than they were worth. That's what pushed us to The Sigelei V5's, a dumb luck purchase that I over paid for, yet don't regret for a minute, other than the close outs that I have squirilled away for vapogedin.

Didn't there used to be an edit button?

I think it depends on which "style" you're using for the page format. I still see the word 'edit' at the bottom of my posts on this phone. On my other phone I have the new page "style". It has a drop down list at the bottom of the post. It's like 3 bars. One atop another.

I guess the reason I'm so staunchly locked in on these Kanger atties is my one track, one thing at a time type mind. (Still running a 350 mhz processor between my ears) I'm so entertained by playing around with these and searching the prehistoric posts in the 'tips and tricks' thread for ideas. Diverting my attention to something else would be an interruption.
I've got a list that seems as long as my arm of things to try with these Kangers. I've had them then so jacked up/souped up/modified already the that I was comfortably lung hitting them. And there is potential for even more airflow but I had to back off and go back to MTL cuz the VG started getting to me. Heavy chest and coughing stuff up. Which is why subbing ain't nowhere in my future.
I haven't enjoyed a hobby this much since I was a boy putting together my plastic model cars, planes and boats. I'll see the the Kangers thru to the end.... If I ever find an end. Then maybe start with something else.

Yeah, I want a couple of those minis but other priorities, ya know.
Never any issues with my 650s. Had the oldest one since June last year. I do have a pair of vision spinner 2 1600 or 1650 that I won't touch. They auto fire and fire hotter than the 650s at the same setting. They await a trip to the recycler ain't messing with them.

@Foggy Road .. Your 350mhz is faster than mine, if I was using a phone for all that..you'd see it in about 3 days maybe..:)
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
Lol! I'm not a talker. I'm a texter. If it weren't for my PITA dispatcher I probably wouldn't use 10 voice minutes per month.

Look at this, thread is still going strong!

Long live zmax! My original is still going strong with original 3 yr old switch, no screen cover the last 2 years. Gave it to my buddy last year and he's a light vapor. Got a dripper on it for home and hes using stacked 18350 for up to 25+ watts.

Recommending a provari- blasphemy!

They just showed that it only costs them 30.00 to make it! Damn thing was a rip off.

If you only vape at 6w an ego can last a long time. The more power you run, the faster the battery runs down.

Well I read tonight that the sale is because the p2.5 has been discontinued. I think with that and the zmax ending it's run we should all vape at half mast or something to mark the end of an era.

I'm so out of the loop with the new stuff. I was looking at Kangers dripbox and it's 60w with .2ohm coils. Why? That's 10x's the vapor I want. That would be hell to drive AND see the road in front of you. As it is all my fire alarms are disconnected and I'm nowhere near chucking those kind of clouds.

I'm kinda glad I started vaping when I did because I have no idea where someone would start now.

I agree an era had ended. In fact in vaping the "eras" seem to fly by at light speed.
