Just thought I'd post an update on my trade for the Protank toppers for my ZMaxes.
View attachment 542084
6 Protank 2's, a mini, a unitank, a Protank 1, and 2 evods

image-jpeg.541677

Bag of mostly 2.2 coils. Some with silica wicks, some with rayon. Added a few feet of rayon which should last a LONG time.

Looks like a lifetime supply of rebuildable atties to me.

image-jpeg.541679

2 extra PT bases, an extra collar, extra evod base, a few drip tips and yes, even some cartos! If I find more stuff, I'll keep adding....

All these goodies in trade for a mod that I won and really didn't care for it. Feel like I hit the jackpot!

Now if I just sell the my Koopor plus or Luggy prizes for enuf to buy a Silenus I'll be a very happy camper.
Congrats on the PT2 score. I wasn't a fan of them until Kanger came out with the airflow base. Huge difference imo. Solves a multitude of problems including random leaks. With the afc, they are hard to beat as a workhorse.

The eleaf GS atty I mentioned is rumoured to have very easy to rebuild coils. Easier than some rba's. There's a couple of fan threads with tips since I'm a reluctant rebuilder. I like the option, but I'd rather not.

Cerotank by anyvape uses Kanger coils and the older Aspire coils (not nautilus) that has a footprint similar to Aerotanks (another fav of mine). I mention this to keep your eyes open for any future trades or buys. Cerotank owners don't let them go very often. I think I've only seen one for sale in 2 yrs.

I luv scooping up on this older low wattage gear. Where did you find zmax for $9? I must've missed that.

Here is something you may be interested in. Provari is blowing out the P2.5 $29.95. These are an outstanding mod.
They work great with Protanks and the such.

Don't underestimate the P2.5. It is a lifetime mod and will outlast the zmax. It is also heavier and I notice a difference with power. It's not pwm. Anyway it's not a 1:1 comparison w zmax and has it's place. And the P2.5 beauty ring fits the zmax perfectly.

That is a killer sale.

Those GS coils were great in my eGrip! Had heard they were rebuildable. The Aspire non Nautilus (bvc) were even better.

The ZMaxes are still available at Vaporrange. $9.95 shipped . only blue left

A Provari P2.5 for $69.95?

Not a bad deal if you like the slant top style. I don't.

I've got three Sigelei flat top V3s and two V5s and they all work fine. I'm not about throw $80 down the rat hole for another mod.

P3 option available. Try $29.95 not $80

I didn't look at the blems before. $29.95 is great for a Provari blem. Still, if I bought one (which I won't) I would need to spend $16.95 for the 18650 extension and $20.00 for the P3 top cap. That would bring the bill up to $66.90 for a blem. Shipping to CA would bring the total to $74.95.

Well if you're cheap the Gold version comes with the extension cap. If you don't like the gold you could find a cheap wrap for a cheap completed unit. Pretty darn cheap. In any case the price of less than $70 is cheap enough considering the original cost of $200 so even the cheapest among us can afford it.

Most extensions by the way are $12.95 so pretty darn cheap.

I'm not cheap, I just don't spend money on stuff I don't need or want. $80 won't buy me a new set of nylon dock lines for the boat this month.

I bought one of the blems for the wife. Can't find a blem on it. I tried giving her a Zmax and when I got home she had somehow pressed the button enough to turn off the power out. Not a menu girl. Hopefully the weird P word press sequence will prevent that.

I will say the menu system is a little clumsy but she will get use to it. The Blem thing is a marketing ploy. No one has ever reported any sort of blem. I think it is their way of pacifying those that paid top dollar for the same unit.
