Around the wick and it can be a little tricky. I watched the video (link below) and you just have to make sure the air path is not blocked. I had to go back in on my build as the top was a little blocked and after clearing it I got full airflow.
You'll want to be careful how high up you go with the coil as well since you definitely don't want the coil hitting the top chimney piece when you put the top of the Subtank glass on.
Grey/silver to Black/silver using a Monokote trim sheet I've had for about 12 years. Cost maybe a buck or two if I had to buy it today. It's not perfect but neither am I.And there's no slit in the grip which I don't like on the wraps I've seen.

So in watt mode at 15w, you are only pulling 3 amps. I want to see that in Joules. I joined that FB group. Looks cool
If so:
That's not 15W it's 150W
And it's not 3A it's 29.5A
with a resistance of .17Ω
and 4.95V
Good Job Vlad. Looks almost as good as my 2 week old one. I have tried to take care of the paint. You could use liquid carbon on that cover.

Sent from my keyboard through my phone or something like that.
Yes, those are one of the guys making it but I remember another company selling small diy kits to do it to brake pads and other small stuff at homeNot really familiar with that. Definitely don't have any of that in the garage. You have any links for that covering?
Or are you talking about Hydrographics?

Oh ok. I thought you only wanted to do the cover and not the c frame. In that scenario, you could just remove the cover and dip it.Ok, yea I've seen that before. Biggest problem with that is the need to dip into the water solution. Which basically means you'd have to disassemble the case, separate battery tube from electronics and case then dip. Would probably look the best overall but a lot of prep work and would void warranty as well.
