When you say open coils, are you referring to spaced, or just saying the size of the loop?

When I said open I just meant big 2-3mm ID coils. Honestly on the Erl it seems like spaced work as well as micros. I've been using a spaced coil with my 30ga wire so it covers a little more length, but micro coils on 26ga.

I need to pick up some 28ga wire, as that seems to be the sweet spot for my Provari on this. 26ga takes a bit too long to heat up, but 30ga makes for a tiny coil even at 2ohms.

The learning curve depends on where you're starting from - the people who seem to struggle with getting the wicking right hardest seem to be those who insist on trying to wick it like something else (ie. a Kayfun). If you come at it with no preconceptions, it's actually fairly simple to get it right, and once you've gotten it wicked properly once, it's a snap to get it right every time after that.

The papsX and XPV are mine. He wouldn't sell the throne. No price cutting on the swabian either, was 339 euro. No word on a DNA40 swabian. Geeze the swabian in 18650 mode with the K4 was huge. That stores got eveerything, very nice. He gave me a delicious cappuccino while I browsed. Great B&M!

I don't go over 16W with anything. My usual is, like Dusty, between 12W-16W.
