Some RTAs ARE a pain :). All of them have the potential to be a pain to some people. I was talking about that with a friend last night. He's a really good builder and said no matter what, he couldn't build the Erlkonigin. That's an atty I've gotten along with since day one. However the Kayfun 4 can be a headache for me,.and he loves them. Every 3rd or 4th wick I would dry hit and have to pull my deck and push the wick around with a screwdriver. So we each may have our affinity for different attys.

Too funny!

The Kayfun 4 was the only RTA I got right on my first try and I'm in love. Yes, I watched videos and read numerous threads before I started, but it was love at first sight.

The Erl, on the other hand, well, you should know--you and many others tried to help me in the Erl thread... No go. I finally gave up. I have two FT minis that are collecting dust--they either leak right away or after a while, but they always leak...

Based on my first 2 months I would've said the k4 was a no brainer. Then it started giving me poop every few wicks. I'm not used to getting dry hits. I was not pleased :)

The Erl was one of my first RTAs though, and we are bonded, lol!

I've noticed in the Rose, Taifun, and Erlkonigin threads a lot of people posting that their Kayfuns don't get much use anymore after vaping on those particular RTAs. I can believe it, as I have those 3 RTAs and love them, and it doesn't really make me want to even try a Kayfun. :D

 :D

Had I known, we could've traded :)

The clones are on sale a few places, if you don't mind clones. Vaporrange maybe?

I have a Tobeco clone that has been flawless. Maybe I was just lucky.

I'm still looking, maybe I'll try your Rose, even though it looks a bit hard to build with that ceramic cup and whatnot. I like simple. I don't mind rebuilding, but I can't deal with tanks like the Erl that rely entirely on super precise builds and wicking. You should have seen me glued to my computer monitor and snipping the wicks just so--only to have the thing leak like sieve.

Mine was a Tobecco, too, and very nice. We just didn't gel :)

The Rose has juice control. So you just adjust that to your wicking rather than the other way around. Dry hitting? Open it more. Flooding? Close it more.

I like the concept. Thanks, Roxy!

Anything else in the KISS department you'd recommend? Ease of use is my foremost priority.

The Ataman 2 also has juice control.

The Prometeys, Nectar and Le Magister are very easy to live with also.

Where's the zmax?
I use it at my desk. Does not fit the pocket very well. The little 650 mah with an Evod or T3 fit nice in the pocket and I have not broken any of them yet.

Plus it causes my t3's to gurgle. Maybe the power is just a shade too high? Fiddling with that some..
No gurgle at all with them on the 650 ma or the iTaste VV3.

Not as portable as this daily carry kit.

I see they have finally cloned the Mark Bugs GEM... Hopefully it will be 1:1 and excellent!

Just too many wants and no vape budget, I wonder if an indiegogo page would help... ;)

FC Wants:
VaporGiant Kronos (FeV Like)
Taifun GSL (If it's as good as the GS II then I need this.)

FT Wants:
Mark Bugs GEM
Tilemahos V2
Genius 2

Well, I hope you are enjoying your zmax -- maybe it needs it's own case? Did you know that ecig Charleston is sold out of all the zmaxs? I suspect they owe that to you. I think there are more peole out there now enjoying some sensible < 15W vaping, and a great price, thanks to you.

I got 8 1100 mah 18500 batteries for it for a bit under a dollar each at Vapor Beast. Efests but fine for a Zmax
