Sounds like you better start feeding those trees Wheaties or giving the One-A-Day vitamins. Maybe a better idea would be the "look before you leap" style policy. Just a thought...

That's why my life lesson is to look up first. Sometimes though, there isn't time. I need to grab or lean, or else fall. This time, it wasn't helpful. At least the ground was cushy. :)

I'm glad you have less padding - LOL!

No the ground was pretty soft from the recent rains. No harm.

I meant figuratively less padding, and maybe physically as well. There is a vast difference between age 20 or 25 and now, wherever that now may be for you and for me its kind of plus 40 or so.

We had virtually nothing in the way of rain. Quite a few of my trees are dead. It is strange walking in the woods because it's so much lighter because of the decreased density in the canopy. I don't like it. :(
That is a shame, there's nothing you can do about it, either. I think that it's nature's way of thinning the herd, so to speak.
