I'm pretty ...... off right now after dealing with *(supplier) customer service, which seems to be one woman.

She rudely kept telling me that the eGo charger I just received in the mail will output 420 mA even though it clearly says 0.2A for the output on it. Is it even possible for a charger labeled " Output: DC4.2V ~ 0.2A " to output 420 mA ??

I appreciate your replies in advance.

.2A is 200mA, so no

Also i wouldnt ever put a non ego charger on an ego, you ever see a lithium battery pop? Its like the 4th of July

So, basically, she lied to me vehemently.. The battery stays cool while charging.

it wont output 420mah but it'll charge it?

Well, yea, I know. It takes twice as long though. When I bought this "eGo charger" I figured it would output 420 mA.

Yeah i imagine its dreadful waiting for that to charge. Honestly i still wouldnt use it, i get the genuine joyetech chargers because ive seen a lithium battery pop, and its not pretty, ok well its kind of pretty, but i dont want it happening in my house. Plus one can be had for about 5-7 bucks, so why skimp there

Can someone link me to a proper charger ? I have some online places I shop, but they don't have 'em in stock.

I will be posting a review about this.

Im assuming you have a larger ego, this is for those.

If youre using a little 510 you need a different charger.

Also this is only the USB part. Im not sure if you need the wall plug half as well!

Joye ego USB Charger

On the up side, with a 650 mAh eGo, your 200 mAh charger is functional. It'll take about 4 hours to charge the device, but will do so at a low enough level that battery stress is practically nil.

You can certainly use it. If you overnight charge, that extra time won't matter.

Or the 420 mAh one is also fine, charging your eGo in about 2 hours.

I'll delete the name of the supplier and you can do that. If you want charger info. only I'll keep it open.

I agree If they are that bad post a negative review on the forum. Theres a specific section for it. It's always nice to know what vendors to avoid
