I'm curious if anyone here has tried VV juices without any nicotine. My fiance likes vaping the flavors but was never really a fan of nicotine & doesn't care for any TH. I am planning on buying some 0mg for her but wanted to make sure she would like them just as much as the ones with nicotine. Would they need an extra flavor shot?

Unfortunately we are reformed smokers here & switched to vaping...nearing our 1 year smoke free anniversary. Can not attest to zero nicotine but I can not imagine much of a flavor impact using zero Nic juice. I see non smoking folks in our local brick & mortar store ordering 0 Nic juice just because they enjoy the vaping flavors.

I've only tried a couple of juices at 0 mg and detected no change in flavor, so i would say no extra flavor needed.

I have recently gone down to 0mg nicotine and the flavor is the same for me as it was at higher levels of nic. Over the last 1 1/2 years I have gone from 18mg nic to 0mg nic.

Thanks for the responses...that will help in placing my next order! Has anyone noticed whether or not the nicotine changed the flavors at all? By that I mean that they tasted better without it. I'm still very new to vaping so I don't know if the liquid nicotine has it's own distinct flavor that is mostly overpowered by the juices intended flavor.

I think my ideal nic level is a 5/extra low... right now since I'm trying to get through all of VV's menu my nic tolerance has gone up, which I have not enjoyed :( ... I feel like I need to vape the second I wake up, which doesn't happen when I've been vaping lower level juices. After I work my way through the menu I'm going to back to my stock of bottles, which is about 25% 8mg and 75% 5 mg. After those run low I am going to see if Annette will custom mix me a 2.5 or otherwise I'll just end up buying two ounces of each flavor, one 0 & one extra low and combining them. Ideally I'd like to get down to 2.5.

I am using the 12mg right now primarily as a test for myself since I haven't been around nicotine for quite some time...plus it is the only level I can get for sample sized bottles which I needed to see what kinds of flavors I would like. I plan on moving down to extra low or 0mg once I have an idea of what flavors I like the most. Out of curiosity, has anyone tried various VV flavors with an extra shot? Is it just too much? My brother-in-law mentioned that he has ran into that issue with extra flavor shots, where at times it is just too much & needs to be watered down a bit. Again, I like most of what I have tried & just wonder if I would like an extra shot of flavor that much more.

I add a "touch" extra flavor to our all day vapes...Creme Caramel for me & Wintergreen for the hubby. Just note it in the comment section on your order. I don't add extra to the Konas, Lattes or the Chocolates....I don't vape fruits so i can speak to their strengths. Just tell Annette what you want & she'll do it. She says she cringes a bit LOL :)

Don't mess with perfection.

Lol - with the odd taste buds I seem to have, I was/am determined to keep Kona Velvet my top adv, hence the extra flavor. i have had to gift way too many bottles of V V juices that I hear so many are loving.. yet still did not work for me no matter how long they steeped. There are only 4 of the V V line I can use.. pretty sad! Well over a year and many bottles later, I still have my Kona Velvet and the 3 others. After 46+ years of smoking, I intend to continue my over 17 months of vaping. :D

When I first tried Kona Velvet in Nov 2011, I was not sure I liked it- but as it was my first non-single flavor I found it to be quite intriguing, so I kept using it and omgoodness..! It seemed I needed to add extra flavor as I was reducing the nic level- I still get two in order to mix, and I am still just at 15 nic, but am reducing slowly. I do not have to add extra flavor to my other 3 faves fortunately.

There are a few flavors that I have tried now that seem like they need a little extra flavor for my tastes...just so light. Celestial Honeydew & Vanilla Peach Swirl are a couple that come to mind. I might even say the Blueberry Cheesecake needs a little extra but not much as it's not as light. I am still tasting through several flavors right now to find my favorites.

Just wait till your new flavors have had some good "Blooming" time and then decide what you think about the strength of their flavors! Sometimes they aren't at full flavor level when you first get them... give em a few wks and try again to see if you feel the same way! Every flavor I've tried tastes different (better.. if that's possible) and more flavorful after some time has passed.

Then it's all about anticipating and preparing so you can stock up on the flavors that you think you'll want a mth or more from now! It's hard to do... and I'm only now figuring out how to get a decent stock of my favs so they can have sufficient Bloom time for my flavor preferences and still have the juices that I currently need. I asked for a little extra flavor on one of my favs and after a few wks it tasted so completely different and I didn't care for it... which really surprised me (still used it of course, but it was just... different!)

It's an interesting game we have to play to have the VV juice stock we need/want! :( Guess that cover all the emotions involved in the juice stock game! Good luck to us all! I have to say... it's a fun game though... lots of tasty trial and error with Virgin Vapor!!

I agree Sunshyne....stock piling ahead takes awhile to figure out. I finally have mine & the hubbies all day vapes stocked up ahead giving us a good 6-8 week steep time. I fully intend to keep it that way :)

As for the 1/4 oz ones I get just to try....that's harder but I have 3 interesting ones that have been blooming a few weeks...I taste weekly & put them away.
