So I got my first order from Innovapor last friday.
The first atty was a nasty tasting one that I gave it 48 hours of use to clear, but it contiued to taste nasty and didn't deliver much vape.

Now a second one has died, but this one has become really difficult for air to pass through. I have left them to drain over night and it is still really blocked!

Grrrr. this is going to be an expensive habit if I have to go through 2 a week.

This is one of the reasons I wonder why cartomizers aren't more popular.

They're so cheap it doesn't matter if one only lasts you a few days. Another benefit is you don't have to worry about leftover flavors when you change juice, just use a different cartomizer for each flavor.

I dunno, they just seem like the logical choice to me.

As soon as I can come up with the $180 I need to place my order, I'm ordering 100x empty cartomizers and 10 batteries from a China wholesaler (104mm x 9.2mm e-cig). That comes out to about $1.20 per cartomizer and $6 per battery (shipping and paypal fees added in). The more you purchase the cheaper each item is; most wholesalers charge $40-$50 for DHL shipping.

You're doin' it wrong, man.

Well i have been following all of the guidelines outlined in this forum.
Certainly rying to make sure they stay clean.

My original 901 atomiser is still going strong and I treat it exactly the same?

I am back onto it now, as it seems more robust.

I am just trying out a mod of a cart mod.
I found that the lipton tea bag mod leaks more liquid into my mouth than the 510, but I like the fact that the hairs don't burn as there are none.

So I decided to do a hybrid. Fluval filler with a strip of teabag holding it in and sitting between the atty and the fluval. There is also no need for the straw mod as the tea bag capping the fluval creates natural channels to the bottom. It fills easily, it doesn't leak fluid and most importantly, the strands of filler are held back and cannot stick to the atty. Anyone else try this?

Are you overfilling or sucking too hard?

I believe I have mastered the art of sucking and filling. Here's the problem though.
The nasty taste - people recomend keeping the wick wet. Which requires regular filling. Usually the cart only takes 4 more drops, but it keeps the nasty taste under control. If it ever pools with one drop too many I wipe with a tissue as suggested. Sucking on a 510 isn't challenging as it is manual and I can gently draw on that getting a mouth full of vape. Problem is, If the cart ain't full, it tastes bad.

I don't have this issue with my 901 and the first atty is going strong.

I believe I have had a crappy batch. I'll be able to compare when the attys from china arrive.

The new tea bag fluval filter cart mod is working really well on my 901. :)

Oh, I see. Yeah, I always suggest the "Are you sucking too hard" since that seemed to be the answer to most of the problems that I have had. :p I think I may be slightly known for that now. ;)

Sorry for your difficulties and frustration. I, however, am happy and a SMILIN because I use the Vapor King from Vapor4Life.com, which is a two piece PV that uses cartomizers. A fresh atomizer with every cart, hence the term "cartomizer". One cartomizer is equivelant to 12-18 cigarettes and the Throat hit and vapor output is excellent. Havent had any problems from day one (July 28th) using the Vapor King (KR808D-1 model of PV). The cartomizers are meent to be disposable, but can be refilled, and is highly recommended, even by Vapor4Life. Check out their website, check out the vapor4life forum here at ECF and see for yourself what all the hoopla is regarding the Vapor King. Their starter kit is filled with xtras like a usb passthru, PCC, carry case, carts, juice, and the best customer service and shipping you will ever experience. Go, go now and see for yourself. The prices are amazing, the vaping experience with the Vapor King is outstanding. Ease of use is unbelievable ! ! ! Just twist on a cartomizer and start vaping. NO messy dripping, no cleaning of an atomizer (there isnt one to clean) ! ! ! The performance of this PV rocks. After many other model PV's I have (crap where are they?), the VK is the BEST. It is my workhorse. Hell it is now my only horse from the stable that I use. Puts the 510, 801, 901, RN4081 models to shame, IMHO. Choice of 28 different flavors and their flavors are powerful and rich. Batteries hold charge at least 4-6 hours. 6 different colored batteries. Blue or orange LED. Cheap prices. Go, GO NOW ! ! !
