Hey guys,

Recently a friend of mine got a PV, and kept telling me to get one. I was skeptical at first. Early last year when I was driving over the road, I got one of those 30$ cig-a-likes and hated it. That is until last month when I went ahead and bought an eGo twist 1100mah kit with kanger protank. Since then I have been completely sucked into this whole vaping thing. I quit smoking cold turkey. I even tried to smoke an analog at my neighbors house today. I took one puff, about turned green from the rancid taste and put it out. In just a short time how my sense of smell has come back too! I swear I can smell a mouse fart at 100 yards now!

Since getting my eGo, I have bought a kanger MT3, and a Vision Vivi Nova STV. Now I am looking at a Vamo V3 mod, and a mechanical mod with genesis RBA. Not to mention I got 250ml of juice from Mt Baker Vapor now. Didn't realize how addictive this was going to be.

I have been lurking these forums for information since I quit. Anyway I am rambling. Just wanted to sign up to these forums so I might be able to post once in awhile.

I started the same way. Blu's, then twist and protank. Only been at it a couple weeks and I'm already rebuilding my own coils and have plans to pickup an SVD. I looked at the Vamo but after watching a couple reviews I'm going with the SVD. I've got 16 different juices atm and found some I love, like and can't stand. Live and Learn! Kudos on quitting smoking and welcome to the mad hobby!

Hippychick,

Id recommend just reading these forums, using google, to educate yourself on the subject matter. It is a lot to take in, but with a few days of research it all starts to fall into place.

I'll second that. Between these forums, Google, and YouTube (Many, many great videos are linked through these forums) there is an answer to just about any question you could come up with related to vaping. I spent maybe a month or so lurking the forums and taking in some videos before I jumped into vaping a few weeks ago.

Yes Hippychick you are in the right place. Please disregard comments of developing ones try to read new beginners and the comments given them. This will be a hoby in time and you will do things you did not know you are capable soon. begin with a starter kit (some dont approve and suggest to have a developed device. I dont) you have to learn pros and cons of vaping in the beginning.
Most important of all the juice and right amount of nicotine level and try if you are allergic to PG or not. if you are a pack a day smoker get 18mg/ml more than a pack 24 mg/ml try to find the flavour your liking there you are. Come back here and you will see the answers of the questions and what is more you can ask and learn yours by asking. here there are a lot of people who will be very glad to help you

Hey hippychck, I was a smoker 37 years and have been analog free for over 4 months. If you want to get into it on the cheap side something like http://www.priceangels.com/EGO-TS-P-Rechargeable-900mAh-Electronic-Cigarette-Set--Blue--s450125.html will get you started. It will take 2 weeks to get here from china, but worth the price. Stay away from the cig-a-likes, they'll leave you wanting. You can get your nic fix, more so than any analog will give you, and vape anywhere without all the nasty consequences.

I'm now vaping on a Provari, and am very happy with it. Tis nice dialing in the ideal favor on the different juices I use.

To the OP, I haven't tried vaping cold Turkey, sounds discussing, Not into any meat vapes. But to each the own. lmao

Personally, my recommendation, to someone serious about quitting analogs, and entering the vape world, is to just do it right and start with a variable voltage and or wattage, such as a provari, svd, mvp, lavatube, vamo 3, or something of that sort. Do the research view the review and make a decision.
