Yes, I'm aware that is too strong, but for those with the 100MG Nic, do you first cut down to something lower, then enter into calculators, or use the 100 MG starting value? I vape at about 24, 50/50. I have no problem safely dealing with the 100MG, which I first broke out into 30Ml bottles for freezing. I have both 100MG in PG and VG base.

I keep my 100mg in the freezer in 30ml bottles .. when I take one out to use I add another 30ml of PG (or VG) to it .. so I end up with one 60ml bottle of 50mg nic. I know I don't need to do that, but I personally prefer to work with 50mg nic instead of 100mg, just in case of a spill or a splash.

I just did the same thing a few minutes ago. The majority of my nic stays in freezer in 30 Ml bottles, but now I'm ready.......gulp.....to start trying DIY mixing. No idea why that makes me nervous, but it does.

Don't be nervous. Just check your calculations twice. If you aren't sure, post them and we'll go over them.

I use 100 mg base without breaking it down... it works well mathematically for manual mixing as well as for working in the juice calculators.

Since I like to vape 12mg juice...and I make 5ml test batches, I use .6 ml of nice base. To make 3ml at 12mg you would use .36ml of nice base.

I'm just starting also...check for a thread for whatever flavors you have (TFA, FA, LorAnnes) to get an idea of what % to start at. If nothing is listed, start small (5%) and you can increase from there. Also, take a hearty sniff of the flavor and if really strong try even less than 5% to start. You can always add more. (Tobacco and coffee flavors are typically really strong).

Also, when you see a post from Hoosier, read his blogs! Valuable knowledge is imparted within. You will end up with vapable juice if you follow these guidelines.

Lastly, if you have any issues, just post...these folks have been really helpful to me!

Thanks
Geo

Thanks folks. I'm setting up the lab and reviewing the flavors I have (way too many !!!).

For this experimental batching, still going through the recipes and calculators, I'll use the PG 50MG/Ml I just created, perhaps subsequent batches I'll use just the straight 100MG.

Hi Keithhe, 100 mg. liter's is what I have always bought in the past plus a few liter's of vg to cut it with. I'm trying something different this time. I ordered a liter of 48 mg. I thought why keep cutting it down 1st when all I have to do with the 48mg. is add flavoring and the other stuff. My flavoring usually runs about 25 percent so that puts me at 23 mg. nic. It just seems not only easier but 2 or 3 less liter's in my fridge. IDK, we will see.....food for thought :)
