When you pay too much for something in the classies finally get it and it has pubes in the battery compartment and lip goo crusted on the drip tip:facepalm:

I can't decide if that is as bad finding pubes on the stovetop of my first apartment when I cleaned it before I moved in. I think it may be a tie.

I'd rather the vendors not use glass - the cost of the product and the shipping would go up. Glass can be bought separately.

I dont mind GETTING the bottles, I just wont keep juice in them at all. I transfer all my juice wether it comes in glass or not, to a set of bottles i keep for that reason anyway.

Still haven't found a comfortable, discreet, way to have a PV on me at all times.

Discreet, AND push up bra!
I so should get one of those. I just can't seem to find a push-up bra that fits right.

Be nice now, just new math that's all. No right and wrong nowadays, that's why it's known as ohm's suggestions.
Nothing to do with vaping, but this: "new math". My mom used to say that when I was a kid. Sometime around junior high I learned that math is, and always will be, the same.

So if I fall down the stairs can I blame it on "new physics"? Pfft.

Only if you fall UP the stairs.

I've done that.

Awesome avatar BTW.

# + 1) That when I walk into a convenience store, there is a huge wall behind the counter covered in bright colors and posters and flashy marketing for the hundreds of packs of neatly displayed cigarettes, while e-cigs might get as much as a small, discreet countertop display shoved somewhere between all the shiny lottery tickets.*

*I will almost make an exception for the BP station on the corner near my house though. They have their Logic e-cigs on a floor display in front of the counter, however it is still not that noticeable by comparison.

The above constant + 1) That eGo/510 style batteries and accessories have become pretty much the standard for vapers who know anything about vaping, as well as having become comparably priced to virtually any cig-a-like, yet they are not available except through more specialized vendors, leaving the crappy cig-a-likes as the standard introductory vaping devices and ruining many peoples' first impressions.

Great thread! :D

#AF93D0 (or something like that) Having your smoker friend say he tried e-cigs (no name cig-a-likes with weak vapor that tastes much like a wet dog smells) and that "e-cigs just don't work for me."... regardless of how many questions you've answered and how much advice you have given.

#AF93D1... Hating no name disposable cig-a-likes with a passion and then realizing you know *every single* convenience store that sells them locally, just in case of an emergency ;)

#AF93D2... Wondering why makers of ALL expensive APVs haven't figured out how to drill two extra holes for a lanyard/safety tether system yet. (edit: for that matter why don't all the starter kits include a lanyard? I know at least two newbies that gave up and went back to analogs after either loosing their PV or dropping & breaking it!)

#AF93D3... Buying the latest, greatest and most expensive thing thinking that now that you have the "best" the extra expense is going to save you money in the long run... only to have the latest and greatest trumped by a similar item with some new feature the next week at half the cost.

#AF93D4... Having a special shelf in the closet just for steeping juice and storing extra gear and ending up with bottles and accessories scattered all over the room by the end of the day anyway.

#AF93D5... Having another friend tell you he wants to quit smoking but will only try an e-cig if it looks, tastes, works, and costs exactly like a real cigarette.

#AF93D6... E-cig "missionaries" that tell everyone that exhaled vapor doesn't have a smell, that no one is affected by "second hand vapor" (a nice lady I know, that lets me vape in her restaurant, is *highly* sensitive to PG, even in second hand vapor), and talk about the e-cig habit as if it costs *nothing* in day to day usage.

#AF93D7... Businesses and offices that *used to allow vaping* but had to stop because some militant e-cig n00bs had absolutely no sense of etiquette!

#AF93D8... Slyly getting wife into "advanced vaping" so you can justify upgrades by handing down your old gear to her... and then realizing that somehow your orders of new stuff have just doubled...

Good ones. :thumb:

That's my plan for when my backup of my safety for the failure of my alternative to my contingency for the collateral device that serves as a stand in for the case that the reserve all go kaput.

My LavaTube has 'em.

Just like a computer.

My kind of organization. Can't resist playing with the vaping supplies anymore than I can resist the vaping act.

There's only one such device that works like a cigarette: a cigarette. You won't find a vaporizer that you light on fire to produce smoke.

Yeah, I'm editing it to say "ALL APV" :D

My wife uses a pretty pink Spinner with pink clearo AND a pink lanyard when she's at work. She says half the women she works with thinks it's some sort of breast cancer awareness deal :D I've been seriously considering buying another ego/vision as my "go out" PV *just for the cheap lanyard availability*.

Smoktek has some nice halyards for big mods, I bought two for mine. Works quite well! Lanyard - Large size for Zmax, Vmax, Bolt, etc.

Thanks! I didn't know those were out there! I DID edit my first post to include an observation... why don't ALL the "starter kits" include a lanyard system with them??!? I know two people that have switched back to cigarettes because they either lost or dropped (and broke) their PV?

...Thinking about a lanyard, but (since I use tanks) envisioning: 1) A top heavy eGo constantly trying to flip over (if it's my 650mAh) or (if it's my 1000mAh Twist) sticking out at a 40 degree angle - the end in my solar plexus, the top threatening to poke out someone's eye; 2) My ProThingy swinging around and breaking one of my ribs.

I understand your concern and I have the same... BUT I think I would much rather adapt to such things than watch my latest and greatest hit the ground when it falls from my coat pocket or something! Not so much a concern at home but I like to take my vaping out to a couple of local establishments as well. As I usually carry it in a chest pocket (inside a coat or a shirt pocket) just having the lanyard as an extra step of security would be nice. A mechanical I had for awhile had a habit of finding tiny holes and making them larger... at just the wrong time!

Thanks! Yeah, I know of serenity. I showed it to a friend of mine who is a professional armorer (yeah, really!) and he insisted I let him tool me one up before I bought one from someone else... we'll see! Maybe Serenity might get some competition? ;)
