The adapters from ProVape are much higher quality, and as far as I know, are the only ones that are made from steel and made in the U.S.A. The other 510 to eGo adapters are prone to having the threads break off, usually at the most inconvenient time. I know there's a lot of dislike for ProVari pushers in the ECF forums, but the ProVape adapters really are worth the extra $$$.

...people who get a 510 to eGo adaptor so they can put a Stardust on a ProVari.

cartomizers, clearomizer heads in ViVis, etc. I know there are some exceptions, but aren't they all essentially atomizers?

Kind of, I guess, in the sense there is a heating element and usually something that holds the juice and delivers it to the heating element. But when I use the term "atomizer" I generally mean an atty for dripping; when I say "cartomizer' I mean a tube with filler material wrapped around a center coil; and when I think of vivi novas, I think of clearos with a wick to the top coil. I'm not even addressing bottom coils here.

The reason I asked is because you wrote

Not being able to change an atomizer without emptying the tank...

and if you meant changing a carto in a carto tank, I was going to suggest you click on the link in my signature.

Yeah, I was kind of using "atomizers" as an umbrella term. That's a pretty neat trick in the video but I have no tank tool in my collection ...yet. And my carto tank has an impression on the bottom for the flange and if it doesn't go in that way, the carto hole is half covered. I reckon I have to add a new carto tank and tank tool to my list of things to get now. Well, at least a Phiniac tank or 6 was on my list already.

Makes me think of another annoying thing about vaping:

My list of things to get grows exponentially faster than it shrinks. Thanks a lot, Ocelot!
