#100 + n

Always having to hear that you "need a better mod" to reach full potential!

Hey: IDesigner--THANK YOU for starting this wonderful thread!

I wasn't told that. I just put my RBAs on other folks' mechs and the performance blew my little telescope away. At least now I know I can wrap a helluva coil & wick.

Thank YOU all for your contributions to the thread.

n > 3:
Swapping a mod under warranty and getting another defective unit.

Good. I am GLAD you weren't told that. What kinda better mod are you going to get? :)

I dunno. Certainly not going to post a thread asking for recommendations though. That would just bring up several of the annoying things about vaping. It has to be a low budget one. Perhaps I can just find some brass screws for my current one. What I was told is that it's all about the connection and power delivery, something the steel screws currently in my mechanical don't do too well.

My #1 of all time!

The fact that 95%+ of everything that makes it to market not a days is absolute and total crap and is just someones attempt to have china stamp something out for them and make a quick buck. Stuff is being rushed through production, not even being tested, and being made cheaper and cheaper with no concern for impact on quality.

When you find a good low budget one, please let me know. I'm trying to get into mechanicals and don't have a lot of money to spend right now. Also, brass is a much better conductor than steel. Gold being one of the best. So, find some brass screws and get them gold plated. Ta-da, problem solved!

#(what are we on) half hour long vaping videos. Do they really need to be that long?

Ha! I saw a review of a juice once, must have been about 10 minutes long. In it he sucked, he blew, he smiled. He sucked, he blew, he smiled again. He said "It's a nice vape that, can't really think of any words to describe it." Video over.

Thanks guy. Please don't hesitate to publish more lengthy video reviews of things you can't think of any words to describe. I often feel there's too much actual content on the internet, and it could use a bit more fluff and noise to take the edge off...

:)

Incidentally, one thing I'll definitely credit PBusardo for - he fast-forwards the bits where he vapes, so you can see the 'reaction' shots, and his descriptions are spontaneous and immediate. But you don't have to *actually watch him vaping*. If I want to literally watch people blowing smoke I can stand by a bus stop thanks.

:)

I saw a 5 minute one where a guy reviewed one liquid. He did one drop into an atty, took a hit, blew out vapor (which was nonexistent cause he was using a standard resistance atty on a cigalike) stated that it had amazing vapor production, then went on about how the Blu is a good e-cig, then took another hit, remarked on the vapor again, then said it tastes like what it is supposed to taste like and ended the vid. 5 minutes just to hear, "yeah, that's what it should taste like." But, I get upset at the videos where people do simple reviews that take forever. If you are gonna review one item, why take half an hour to do it?

chrisrook and generic mutant - RIGHT? i have said that about 100x in the last week...i haven't even gotten the info i thought i wanted because i just can't stick with the vids LOL

I'm quite into photography, and there's a particular knack to changing lenses one handed. And most of the video links people will point beginners to have three minutes of talking at the beginning. I don't need three minutes of talking, saying "Hello, this is bloke features. I'm about to show you how to change a lens really quickly, one handed. It's actually incredibly simple, and only takes one hand..."

Either do it, or don't. It takes less than five seconds.

I couldn't watch them - I'd literally just quit the video in disgust after three or four sentences. I figured out how to change lenses myself, thanks all the same...

Ah, yes! This leads me to my #C-87-14.8 annoying thing about vaping to include ANY juice video. Sight and taste are not linked except to look at a good medium rare steak and say, "Damn that looks tasty!" There is definitely a strong visual distinction between said steak and um...a jar of olives. Visual distinction between two different flavors of vapor....none whatsoever. Why make a video and waste our time watching it to tell us that you think a juice tastes good. We could be watching skateboard wipeouts or something.
