Wseyller here is exactly what carts im using 510 Dual Coil Replacement Cartomizer (for DCT). And from what I know the cutoff amps on my VTube is 2.5. So should I be running like a 2.8ohm single coil cart? I've been debating on buying a Vision stardust, but am concerned that it will not fit on my vtube. My wife is already getting on me for my spending habits on ecig stuff so I need to find something I can use for everything before she yells at me lol.

I just asked my Smoktech rep and apparently the highest DC ohm rating is 2.0, so not sure where a 3.0 is coming from.

They might be combining the 1.5s and calling them 3?

A multi meter is an important tool for a vaporer. Cartos sometimes dont measure to what they are advertised. You can get one locally for 10 to 15 clams if you dont have one.

For starters, I would brace yourself. It can take a while to find your perfect set-up. I'm in about $1500 and only just found what I'm content with.

Second, the DC coils you have are high-resistance. As someone already suggested, get yourself some Boge cartos (they're kind of the standard which all other are measured). Because you have a variable voltage device I would suggest the 3ohm ones from here Welcome to Sure Vapes LLC !. They have free shipping and the cheapest pricing I've found so far. Then you can get yourself a tank that will fit those Boges here Big Daddy Vapor - For the love of vapin' and get their cheapest tank. A punch tool and filling tool would be suggested as well. I have a Phiniac tank personally, but they're a little pricier.

I have not heard anyone complain about the set-up I have just described, so I would be very surprised if you were not content with that.

Edit: The stardusts are decent, but if you already like the flavour and warmth you can experience from a carto, you could be disappointed with the stardusts. They're not a "warm" vape and you can't really adjust your volts very much with them. They're quite sensitive to voltage increases to the point that you can get a burnt taste just by upping the voltage a couple notches.

I was thinking the same thing Zurrix lol. It may be a misprint i think i remember seeing them state 1.5 ohm dual coils the last time i bought a 5 pack. Could be wrong though .

Edit: I was and am perfectly content with my set up with BWB Casablanca 18mg at 3.7 -4.8v, but was curious about Boba's Bounty and VG in general and wanted to change things up a bit. Waiting for the holiday season so I can get my hands on a Provari : )

Hi Covert, I Think you would be well served by a single coil 3 ohm carto (my prefrence would be boge) in an XL size so it will fit your tank and allow you the full range of adjustment from your vtube. Something like
BOGE STANDARD RESISTANCE (2.9 ohm) 510 XL CARTOMIZERS I have had nothing but great success with the boge cartos. I even went so far as to shorten my dc carto tank to allow the use of a standard length carto in the tank.
I got my nephew a vtube and a couple packs of 3ohm Boge cartos, even a new vapor deserves a rock solid delivery system . He has reported nothing but good results from this combo. On my own Mod I use the 3 ohm cartos All the way up to 6.5volts(not often) and have nothing but praise for them. I typically get about eight days from a single carto when I use it in a tank while using 5-8ml per day. Without a tank around the Boge I typically get 5-8 days of use from a single carto, still while using5-8ml per day.
I make my own liquid and it is 100% VG while being low nic it gives me good throat feeling without being harsh like when I make the same liquid using PG. VG typically sweetens the balance of flavors and does lessen the aggressiveness if the final product.
On a side note, try this. Remove the drip tip and drip a few drops into the carto until it looks like its is filled correctly. Once this is done let it sit for about five to ten minutes. Check the filler again and look to see that it is still wet. If its still wet attach it to your vtube and give it a try. If this Improves the vapor production then you should look into opening the feed holes. If this doesn't help it may be the carto not performing up to your expectations. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

Iusedtoanalog Brilliant! You just hit the nail on the head with this "Remove the drip tip and drip a few drops into the carto until it looks like its is filled correctly. Once this is done let it sit for about five to ten minutes. Check the filler again and look to see that it is still wet. If its still wet attach it to your vtube and give it a try. If this Improves the vapor production then you should look into opening the feed holes." I'm going to open up the feed hole in a sec with my dremel. But I am going to opt for Boge Carts once I run out of the ones I have : ) Thanks again!

Zurrix would I be able to use the boge xl carts with my apollo tanks? I have three of em and would hate to have to buy more tanks.
I have some spare DC tanks at home (at work right now), but I'm sure someone else could answer that by the time I get off of work and check.

Edit: If no one responds to that, I'll get back to you.

VG is thicker than PG. Some people are sensitive, even allergic to PG. Few vape 100% PG as it tends to be pretty harsh on the throat. A mix, 70/30, is pretty typical. I found even this to be harsh, so I vape 50/50. Some one here has a nice list of the advantages and disadvantage of PG, VG and nicotine. If I try to spell it all out from memory, I'll forget something in it. Hopefully they will come along shortly and post it.
